Just more proof that DirecTV hasn't changed a bit. AT&T is still the majority stock holder, and this shows it.
Those fees are not "Hidden". It's disclosed on the website and it is on the bill. Maybe "Additional Fees" is more applicable since they are added on top of the base package's cost after discount.
After many years with direct tv I cut the cable today and now a subscriber of YouTube tv. So far very happy with my decision
Love baseball, but thereās no way Iām paying $100 a month for the privilege of watching my home team. No way!
Thanks Michael! With DirecTV, we should have known š
I have the lowest stream plan and have had it about 7 months. No hidden fees and like it way better than YouTube TV as far as Chanel line up. No contract and use Apple TVs for my devices
I purchased service over the phone and bought a renewed Gemini outright and they signed me up for DirecTV stream instead of regular DirecTV to avoid the ARS fee.
I just recently cancelled my direct tv service and the person that I talked to on the phone told me that I didnāt have to return the equipment but I kept it for about a month and then I got a letter saying that I had to return all the equipment or I would get a charge of $135 a month until it was returned so be careful if you cancel any service with any company , donāt just take their word for it get it in writing whether or not they want any equipment back or not
Great coverage of these companies that are still lying to you about out the door pricing. I thought there was an alleged new bill/law to get passed forcing companies to tell the full price, no more hidden fees, what happened to that?
"Fake Price Alert" .. translated, business per usual for a cable company.
This is a no brainer. But it all depends if you want regional sports networks, just get a $50 Roku device instead
Directv Stream is selling the outdated 2020 Osprey boxes as Geminis at least for current customers. I ordered one under my account only to get the old box.
You can now cancel your service now online without customer service now
Itās a real challenge getting senior citizens used to this off these high priced services. And to see the light of how things work now.
With AT&T is not about cable, it goes all the way back to telco. I remember when you could NOT own your own phone and you were charged a monthly fee depending on the phone. I had Direct TV for many years and got rid of it not long after AT&T took over. I moved from satellite to Sling when it was the only bundler of streaming services. In the beginning of internet, my only choice was AT&T DSL. AT&T is a terrible corporation. In Illinois they pleaded guilty to bribery concerning landline legislation. This being Illinois the justice for the bribers comes more quickly than justice than for the receiver of the bribe who was the longest serving speaker of the House in Illinois. AT&T is the WORST and considering the cable companies are their competitors, that says a lot.
Direct Streaming for me, yea cost a bit more, but it has all the a&e programming and others where YouTube streaming does not. Also, I like the menu guide. The heart favorite selection is easily available without going to a separate menu to select. That's only a few reasons I've gone with direct tv streaming.
Unfortunately only direct tv stream and spectrum offer the lakers and dodgers channel in my area
Thank you for posting this video!!
Directv is also so freaking expensive
I usually like your videos they are informative; however, why not just come out and admit you are advertising in almost all videos for Roku? It appears quite obvious. And I do use a Roku for an older TV in my exercise room and it is a great device, not sure it is the number one device for use on TVs since most TVs sold today are either classified as "smart" or "android." Just saying....
