a teacher sprang into action to save a student's life 12 news reporter Steven metr Grano talked to the student and the teacher who came to his rescue Stephen some brighter times here at Cedar Hill but that wasn't the case when a student started choking in his classroom now his teacher is being hailed a hero like am I going to die am I going to die third grader Eli loves playing hockey and his favorite subjects are math and arts these are just a couple simple things about him but on Friday things
for Eli weren't so simple during snack time Eli began choking on a piece of celery and that's when his teacher Mrs Peasley noticed something was wrong and I noticed one student Eli he had his hand on his throat and I walked over to him and I said Eli honey are you choking and he nodded so he did the right thing by putting his hand on his throat because I probably would not have known that he was choking as it was silent Mrs Peasley says in her 30 years of being an educator she has never had to
perform the heick maneuver on a student but says she does have some training it just it did come right back to me her quick actions to help Eli when his parents weren't there have left them extremely grateful and we can't think and just show our gratitude enough to M Beasley for being there reacting and stepping in you know teachers are truly Heroes and this St she was a superhero for us this experience has helped build a stronger Bond not just between a teacher and a student but Mrs Peasley and
Eli is there you want to say to Mrs Peasley thank you very much and as for Eli he's in good spirits and tells me he's looking forward to a semi-final hockey game in Warwick Steven matano 12 News

NO more celery stalks please ! Also raw carrots so EASY to choke on especially in school when your child can easily be distracted ! Something SOFT like Yogurt, devil dogs , Cheese sticks for Snack Time ! Thanks GOD he is fine !
