I traveled to the Del Rio sector of Texas that's where I spoke to a woman who shared her story with me she had been sex trafficked by the cartels starting at the age of 12 that was Republican senator Katie Brit of Alabama in her rebuttal address to President Biden's State of the Union linking a graphic account of a young woman's sex trafficking to Biden's immigration policies and and saying she couldn't believe that this happened in the United States of America but the abuse actually happened du
ring President George W Bush's Administration nearly 20 years ago and not in America in Mexico she was asked about that yesterday on Fox News did you mean to give the impression that this horrible story happened on President Biden's watch no Shannon look I very specifically said this is what President Biden did during his first 100 days minutes after coming into office he stopped all deportations he halted construction of the border wall but to be clear the story that you relate is not something
that's happened under the Biden Administration that particular person um well I very I very clearly said I spoke to a woman who told me about when she was trafficked when she was 12 Charlie uh there's nothing clear about it the entire the the the and I don't again I how you walk that back listen I you you resp stuff happens in politics bad speeches are made you know and and it's always better to go out and say man I really I blew that one and people will forgive you for it and they'll even like
you better for it for saying yeah boy I man I just wow was I off on that and I'm so sorry and by the way I told this story and I conflated some some some facts and issues and dates and I'm really sorry for that but I hope you understand my bigger point is that the Biden administration's policies from day one have been dis like she could have said that but I again I don't know who's advising her but to double down after that performance the wrong thing to do own it like Biden is owning his age y
es but in Maga world you can never apologize right being um being a republican these days is never having to say you're you're sorry and that was not just misleading I mean that was a purposeful lie and I think that we're seeing this again and again look we we know that part of the narrative is that Joe Biden is weak on the border and as a result we're being subject to all of this migrant crime so you have Elon Musk over the weekend tweeting out a completely bogus meme about you know IL legal im
migrants uh who are committing crimes and Joe Biden is giving them Awards then you have Katie brick coming up with this this gruesome and grizzly story that has no relation whatsoever to what's happening on the border now somebody had to know that somebody had to recognize that this was a problem um she goes ahead with it anyway maybe figuring nobody would figure it out and then when she's confronted with it she gives that complete non- denial denial look I think one of the obvious questions is
if in fact this is a terrible terrible problem if there are examples of Migrant crime um then you know why do you have to make up the ones that did not occur I mean these are realities this is something that the Biden Administration is going to have to deal with but it is interesting would be interesting to know who advised Katie Brit who advised her on on the on the drama who advised her on the the lies to give uh because it didn't do her any favors at all no you know it's so interesting you sa
id that because again that's a question of couple of couple of people who know her uh and I were talking this weekend and we're like who advis her what happened like she she's again she's very likable person Charlie if you just talk to her oneon-one very likable has has been very likable No Nonsense again Richard Shelby work for Richard Shelby she doesn't come naturally from the Maga Wing but Charlie who advised her who told her this was the right thing to do it's crazy well I have no idea but I
will say that Scarlett Johansson had a much tougher job than you might think because how do you do a parody of what is a parody itself know at the top of this hour you played a bit from Katie Brit and and it and it's hard um to to outdo how strange that was how the overacting and and again this is maybe it's just the curse of the State of the Union response it seems like every politician that does it fall flat on their face but but um yeah clearly this was uh badly conceived from the beginning
and you know and it is funny but this lie about the migrants I I I think is important because this is going to be a massive theme in 2024 there will be Caravans they will try to uh take victims and exploit them politically they've done this in the past and they're going to do it so you can see that these are not just oneoff gaps this is part of a narrative that they're trying to crap and she fell flat on her face um you know on a very very big stage here well as you said the crazy thing is you k
now they have these lies before every election the migrant Caravans with people coming up with a leprosy and and and it never works again they lose every they tried it in 2018 they lost they tried it in 2020 they lost they tried it in 2022 they lost it's it's it is a loser because people understand they're lying and think about the point Charlie just made the situation is so horrific and so unspeakably bad that they had to make up they had to make up a a story that that they attached to Biden in
stead of telling the truth about it that it went all the way the back to George W bush the situation is so horrific that they put off an opportunity to deal with it they killed the Langford bill right that the president offered them that would haveed got on National tele vision and lied yeah lied like a rug yeah Nancy mace earlier yes Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace of South Carolina got into a heated exchange with George Stephanopoulos on ABC's Sunday Morning Show when he asked her how she
could support and endorse Donald Trump who was found liable for sexually abusing writer egene Carolin civil court mace who revealed back in 2019 that she was raped as a teenager avoided answering the question by accusing Stephanopoulos over and over again of trying to shame her take a listen I'm not going to sit here on your show and be asked a question meant to shame me about another uh potential rape victim I'm not going to I'm not going to do that it's actually not about shaming you it's a qu
estion about Donald trp shaming you've endorsed Donald Trump for president Donald Trump has been found liable for rape by a jury Donald Trump has been found liable for defaming the victim of that rape by a jury it's been affirmed by a judge a criminal court case number one number two I live with shame and you're asking me a question about my political choices trying to shame me as a rape victim and I find it disgusting and this is why women won't come forward women won't come forward because the
y're defamed by those who perpetrate rape Donald Trump they are judged and they're shamed and you're trying to shame me this morning I think it's disting not sham you at all I told my story it took me 25 years to tell my story I was judged for it I still get judged for it today I'm asking you a very simple question and I answer it you're shaming me for my political choices I'm asking you a question about why you endorse someone who's been found liable for rape just it was not a criminal court bu
t to sit here and ask me as a rape victim to to try to shame you for my political choices is wrong and I think it's offensive and you I mean you can repeat that again and again and again going to because offensive see what you're doing is defending a man who's been found liable for rape I don't understand how you can do that not in a criminal court of law this was a civil judgment over sexual abuse not rape by the way and she made a mockery out of it can we pull up the Washington Post headline r
ight there in fact it has been shown to be rape the judge affirmed that it was in fact rape Trump Donald Trump was found to have committed rape that's just a fact that is a civil judgment not a criminal court they're two very different things and you know better well you I I just showed you the facts you show that you're very comfortable with what Donald done you done is offensive to women who've been raped what you've done this morning is offensive we'll let the viewers decide about that no it'
s just not offensive and she's not shamed because she's incapable of being shamed although she tried to shame egene Carol my god well every Trump continually tried to shame egene Carroll and again it it's I I guess this is a woman who Wasing and jeering Hunter Biden uh as they walked into uh the conference room when he tried to show up to testify in public yeah and then ultimately they private testimonial went very badly but that's a side issue she was acting like an eighth grader I just screami
ng at I just wonder shaming how stupid Jonathan lamir she thinks people are I just how stupid and that's the thing again whether it's bad acting whether it's lying about a story that happened when George Bush was president and trying to attach it all these years later to to Joe Biden and then going on TV and lying about it like I just maybe after a while Republicans could figure out why they lost in 2017 lost in 2018 lost in 2019 lost in 2020 lost in 21 lost in 22 lost in 23 because they think t
hey think that everybody is so stupid that they can do that sort of routine where she knows she knows she is defending she is endorsing she is all behind a man who a judge said raped another woman and then defamed her talk about shaming a woman if she's so concerned about rape victims being shamed what about what Donald Trump does to his rape victim judge said she was a rap rape victim day in and day out constantly sham e Caroll so much so that the jury had to come back a second time and make th
e penalty so bad that maybe he would stop shaming a raped victim but that's who Nancy ma agressively endorses instead of a woman who saved her political life in South Carolina yeah Trump actually went after egene Carol again over the weekend and there's some chatter that maybe she should file another defamation lawsuit uh that yeah it's bad acting but really it's bad faith what we saw from representative M there was it was indeed even though she's impossible to be shamed it was shameful trying t
o twist what what George Stephanopoulos did uh and go on the political attack tried to hide behind something of course that truly terrible happened in order to defend her uh support of of Donald Trump and and this is what we're seeing more and more from Republicans where it's not just that they're trying to lie for political points they're detached from real reality and I do think there are consequences here that that in that moment maybe they can blast out a fundraising clip and make a little b
it of money and maybe in their deep red districts they'll get a little more support but they're talking to a smaller and smaller slice of the electorate that Americans I think on the whole are tired of these lies they're tired of the chaos they're tired of the ugliness you know I think that that was on display Thursday night at the State of the Union when President Biden repeatedly heckled from the crowd that didn't play well with most Americans who do want to see still even in this say age some
decency in our politics and yes we're a deeply polarized country but this election elections after year after year after year are still decided by those hand that voters as as as small as they may be who were in the middle those Independents those swing voters and this is the sort of thing that repulses them and that's part why Republicans have been on such a losing streak here and they're they're making no effort Joe M no effort whatsoever to grow their base of support they're talking to die h
ards who are more and more passionate but there are fewer and fewer of them yeah and you know what you saw there with George stepanos caty K before we expand uh the conversation uh Nancy Ma you know who has openly spoken about a terrible experience weaponizing it against George Stephanopoulos which is it seems beyond Twisted but again this is Trump World and this is a man who has been accused of rape several times over Accu and has other accusers that he's bought off and that is an allegation th
at might be brought into the case against him with Stormy Daniels on top of it set on tape that he enjoys and can grab women by their genitals bragged about it and then doubl down on that in his deposition when he was sued by egene Carroll yeah I think anyone who knows George Stephanopoulos knows that he is one of the least likely people in the world to try and shame somebody who has suffered that kind of awful experience I mean that's just not the way George carries out his journalism um he's F
air he's honest and it was a it was a legitimate question I wonder you know if Nancy M have been asked about any other politics she'd been asked I don't know if this had been a question about a democratic politician would she have been so offended by the question it's hard to know I mean you're right for the from the democrat's political point of view the more they can point to the extremes of Donald Trump the more they can point to the extremes of Marjorie Taylor green as she was performing in
the State of the Union Address that's where they feel they can remind people about the the choices that are at stake in November the whole idea of trump Amnesia as it's being called when Donald Trump mimics Joe Biden's stutter in front of an audience in Georgia how many Suburban Women Voters in all of those cities we keep talking about in Detroit in Philadelphia in Georgia are going to listen to that and think that's the kind of behavior that they want to endorse and give their vote to that the
Biden campaign thinks that it can just let Trump be Trump be the most extreme version of itself himself be the most obnoxious version of himself and that is going to help them in November and over the course of this weekend we saw the extreme elements of Maga behaving in the way that the Biden Administration hopes is going to remind voters what at State what The Choice Is So speaking of contrasts you had Joe Biden after his incredible State of the Union Address talking about his accomplishments
and all the positive things he was able to get done in the wake of the Trump presidency coming into the White House literally barricaded after January 6th and being able to move forward persevere and pass countless legislation even bipartisan legislation that has improved the economy is a fact again about the American people exactly so you have all those messages resonating after the speech as he goes out on the campaign Trail and then meanwhile Donald Trump he's at maralago posting hungary's au
tocratic prime minister Victor Orban on Friday to quote to discuss a wide range of issues affecting Hungary and the United States Orban who has close ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin has refused to provide any Aid to Ukraine while seeking to turn his own country into an illiberal State Trump has repeatedly bragged about having orban's endorsement for his 2024 campaign and at a dinner on Friday fawned over the Hungarian leader there's nobody that's better smarter or a better leader than V
ictor orbon he's fantastic as you know the prime minister of Hungary and does a great job is a non-controversial figure because he said this is the way it's going to be and that's the end of it right he's the boss and know he's a great leader so um CAD again I I I've been warning that he keeps bringing up Victor orbon for a reason Victor Orban who brags about getting rid of western style democracy who brags about being in a liberal state uh who who has has has arrested and jailed uh competing po
liticians members of the press driven them out of the country has actually bugged the phones of rival politicians and journalists you name it he's done it and this is who Donald Trump admires and he he says he's non-controversial uh because he he says what he wants and he gets it done he's the boss and Trump of course said that in the most admiring of way that's what America looks like under Donald Trump's second term if we take him at his own words right yeah I thought that that line about he's
not controversial because he says what he wants and he gets it done he's the boss was so reflective I mean you know projection confession that was total projection of what Donald Trump would like I mean Victor orbana is proud of the fact that he's made Hungary what he calls an liberal democracy I'm not quite sure whether those two things can actually be possible together how do you have a democracy that's liberal that goes against the very strain of democracy but anyway that's what he's done by
packing the courts with his cronies by weighing in on judicial cases um by making it incredibly difficult for journalists to do any kind of independent reporting they are told by their editors what facts they can report before they actually are allowed to write their articles that's the kind of state that Donald Trump down there in maralago in that speech seems to be admiring it's also the state you know Tucker Carlson went to uh Victor Allan to kind of pay homage to his type of leadership ther
e is a strain there in the Maga movement that clearly admires those illiberal democracies autocratic leaning countries and again it's tied up with Russia the EU had to lean very heavily on Victor Orban basically threatening him with other punishments if he didn't go ahead and agree to an EU package of Aid to Ukraine because he didn't want to he didn't want to do something that would get in the way of VI of Vladimir Putin and and you see that these things are linked it's a it's a circular movemen
t that we see from what Donald Trump is doing down in maralago Du Tucker Carlson's visit to Moscow and Victor Orban and Victor orban's relationship with Vladimir Putin well you you you have you you you hav't Donald Trump a guy who said he's going to terminate the Constitution he's going to be a dictator on day one he's he he would like to execute generals for not being lackes uh for treason uh said he could use Seal Team 6 to execute his political opponents and not be arrested uh and and you go
through all all of this long list you go through his presidency and things that he said and did in his presidency you you don't just have what he's saying you have now a record well and even in his presidency where the last two weeks he said he wanted to he was demanding that his attorney general arrest Joe Biden and Joe Biden's family because he was bind in the polls and said he should send them to jail so you have all of this happening we talked about the young Republicans who unfortunately ha
ve have have had their their bearings like twisted uh by this to become unrecognizable um and and you look at I I I saw Von Hillyard interviewing people at Trump rallies talking about Civil War saying that if they didn't win this time they were going to use violence they're going to take over State legislatures they were going to take over uh courts they were going to come to Washington they were going to take over Washington uh Charlie syes this is this is not a test run this is a guy that's to
ld his followers if I win I'm going to be a dictator and his followers are all in and again Charlie how perverse that it's people that I went to church with evangelicals a lot of them that seem to be swept up into this totalitarian ISM this authoritarianism and also small government Republicans tea party types that wanted small government they're now begging for an autocrat for a tyrant for a dictator and and all of this is happening in broad daylight in real in real time and there's no subtlety
there's no secret about it as CAD as CAD mentioned he's leaning into his Embrace of illiberal authoritarianism he says it out loud and uh you know speaking of you know his the younger Republicans on the the bench you have people like Nancy ma now who are forced to go out and justify the fact that that this this illiberal authoritarian who's talking about Civil War is also been found liable for rape so you begin to put together this picture what Republicans are embracing right now what they are
endorsing and what Donald Trump is bringing into this campaign uh because uh Donald Trump is not going to get better um I think throughout 2024 uh what you're going to see is his inability to restrain his ID um and the fact that he's he's up there on stage at Mara Lago talking about you know he's not controversial because he's the boss he says something and it's over this is clearly something that he admires this is clearly something that he aspires to and yes it's alarming and and I know there
are people out there who say look you know you guys are engaging in Trump derangement syndrome just simply listen to Donald Trump listen to what he is saying listen to what his supporters are saying on a daily basis it's not a secret well that he is preparing everybody for what he's going to do when he says he you know talks about terminating the Constitution he says he's going to be a dictator on day one when he talks about uh executing uh generals who are insufficiently loyal or finding uh med
ia Outlets guilty of treat when he talks about all the things he's doing when he says he argues in court that he can execute political opponents using SE team six and he can't get in trouble for it when he says that in court then yeah he's telling people what he's going to do and yet these younger Republicans just fall in line they're going to lose you're going to destroy their careers and and yeah you look at Nancy mace even after Donald Trump is found liable for sexual assault and a judge says
really he raped he raped egene Carol there are other women who have also accused him of rape and there are other deals that have been struck that actually the prosecution the Alvin brag uh case they want to bring they want to bring forward to show that this is a pattern of behavior so 91 counts okay then a sexual assault then fraud I'm sorry I just want to go over his legal ch got to say I was speaking specifically of Nancy ma a judge talks about Donald Trump raping a woman and because she has
no choice right but to blindly defend Donald Trump she defends a man that a judge says is a rapist and does it without apology and and again you you see I could talk about Katie Brit but I could also talk about Marco Rubio once once one of the the most promising stars in the Republican party was called the future of the Republican Party by uh by by time I think it was now just a shell of his his former self politically you look at all these people Rand Paul that criticizing Donal I you know Ted
Cruz we could go on and on they just all fall in line it's sad and it's pathetic and they're all going to lose it's just like it's like Trump's going to lose again and for some reason they can't pull out of this political death spiral right and we should show the Nancy exchange at some point because she accuses the reporter of shaming her when all when when all he's doing is asking actually that she tells the truth for once about Donald Trump still add on morning the labor market remains strong
as the February jobs report showed 275,000 jobs were added last month joining us now is the acting Secretary of lab labor Julie Sue uh Madame secretary uh what do we make of these numbers they seem to keep getting better and then what are some of the concerns that that keep you up at night uh looking ahead in the next six months the next quarter thank you so much M yeah this was another stunning jobs report 275,000 jobs created at the same time that the unemployment rate remains under 4% for the
25th month straight that's 2 years and running uh it's the longest stretch of unemployment this low in 50 years and labor force participation remains steady which means people are in the labor market they're looking for jobs and they're finding them uh you know this is work it's progress it was not promised right many people predicted that this would not happen we would not have the kind of jobs recovery we've had not have it this quickly we've seen real wages grow up go up that is fundamental
to President Biden's vision of America that workers need to do well and we need to keep up this progress we need to keep it going until every American actually feels it Madame secretary please tell us a little bit more about that wage increase which I know you say is so important in the president's agenda but also tell us about what kinds of jobs are these what sort of sectors and do they include the manufacturing Boom the President Biden has promised so the February jobs report showed growth in
a number of Industries that's another part of why you know this is a strong resilient economy it's not just one industry it was Health Care you know Hospital saw a big growth it was uh restaurants and bars social assistance government grew uh and so it's broad-based recovery uh what we're seeing are wage increases over the year is over 4% that means that real wages are growing uh they're beating inflation that's more money in workers Pockets right that's a good thing uh and we want to keep on s
eeing that kind of strength for working people so that people you know when you get home from work you put your keys down you actually have more that you can spend on the things you need and the things that you want in terms of manufacturing since the president came into office there's been something like over 700,000 jobs created in that industry this is part of his commitment to rebuilding America investing in America bringing manufacturing jobs home investing in our infrastructure that's just
not not a word for him it's hundreds of thousands of miles of roads and bridges airport modern ation all of those are creating good jobs and good union jobs in communities that need them the most acting labor secretary Julie Sue thank you very much for coming on the show this morning Trump and I have a very different value set of inavi already two nights ago we all heard crooked Joe's angry dark hate Phil rant didn't it bring us together remember he said I'm going to bring the country to to to
to together I'm going to bring it together but we all know Donald Trump sees a different America an American story of resentment revenge and retribution that's not me that's not you now watch these uh criminals back there the Press look at them look at how many of them that's a lot of people that's a lot of people yesterday he was hosting at his Club Victor orbon who says he doesn't think democracy Works call him a fantastic leader I had dinner last night with a great gentleman from Hungary prim
e minister of Hungary Victor Orban very very tough some people don't like him because he's very tough instead of celebrating the contribution of immigrants to our country to our economy and our communities Donald Trump calls them Vermin poison the blooding poisoning the blood of America no one should ever doubt where my heart is I will end the agony of our people the pl th of our cities the sacking of our towns the violation of our citizens and the conquest of our country they're conquering our
country these people are conquering our country they're horrible people wow wow why don't you just stand up and say I want to lose why don't you just stand up you you mock a guy stuttering you you you you you you say this ridic I will end the agony of people the sacking of our town the sacking of our towns let me just say again let me just say again if you talk to small business owners if you talk to people that own small businesses restaurants just see the new unemployment numbers I mean yeah y
ou talk to people that that that run hardware stores on Main Street they tell you you know we can use some more workers yeah because we're you know unemployment's lower than it's been and in 50 years now so the the agony of our people unemployment lower than it's been in like 50 60 years um the sacking of our towns I'm not exactly sure crime near a 50-year low despite some problems because of liberal Das and and some judges that are too liberal that won't do what they're supposed to do when when
repeat offenders keep coming in but you know that's the exception that's not the rule this country is doing great it's more hatred Donald Trump hates America if he's not president Donald Trump hates America and the praising of orbon here's a guy again who hates democracy who loves IL liberalism and he says it and Donald Trump says it so yeah that's just it's idiotic but the contrast ma could not be greater was incredible Jonathan lir catty K still with us and joining the conversation we have ch
ief White House correspondent for the New York Times Peter Baker and White House reporter at the Washington Post Tyler pager his latest reporting is on those dueling Trump and Biden rallies in Georgia over the weekend just 70 miles apart but in terms of tone and in terms of Outlook thousands of miles apart I mean Tyler you're reporting on on the two rallies I mean the thing that every politician wants is a good clear contrast that's what campaigns are about if you can contrast between yourself a
nd your opponent you're really good shape got to say Donald Trump and the freak show that was on on the floor this is me talking not you as a reporter on the State of the Union night for a lot of people I would guess in the Biden campaign it's lining up pretty nice that is quite a contrast Donald Trump for some bizarre reason moving into the general election telling Romney Republicans we don't want you telling Nikki Haley Republicans you're traitors we don't want you he's actually he's boiling d
own a support instead of it instead of expanding it I've got to believe the Biden campaign likes how this camp campaigns lining up yeah after a lot of months of anxiety about Biden's launch and the early months of his campaign the last few days at the White House in the Biden campaign in Wilmington Delaware have gone just according to plan and we saw uh the reporting that the Biden campaign raised uh $10 million in the aftermath of the State of the Union and so they're quite thrilled with exactl
y what you're saying Joe that contrast you know they started with that State of the Union addressed where Biden performed surpassing Democrats expectations I I spoke to one voter at his philad uh his event outside Philadelphia who was so nervous about Biden's speech that she did not watch it in real time worried that he would have a gaff or stumble she read the news reports the next day and was quite pleased to see the president did well so it started there and has continued through the weekend
I was then in Atlanta with him where he gave a very tight 20 minute speech largely sticking to the same script that he delivered at the State of the Union but sharpening those attacks against Trump and and that's what the the Biden campaign wants they want this to be an election of of a binary choice between Trump and Biden and so they feel that the the contrast is you know as you said 70 miles apart but miles much much further apart in terms of message and tone I think we'll continue to see Bid
en deliver that same sort of message as he goes to New Hampshire today and then Michigan in Wisconsin later in the week but but Joe you're exactly right a lot of relief uh and and excitement in the Biden camp and also among the donor class and voters who were quite anxious as we saw a series of polls show Biden trailing obviously it's too early to see any sort of uh movement yet on the poll polling front but I know there will be a lot of of anxious Democrats waiting to see uh how much the the ba
ll has moved after a successful few days I'm 51 and be 52 later this year I got started thinking a lot about aging and like what's possible for me as a woman as I age was that something you thought about making this film you know I don't think about it a lot cuz I'm just busy doing stuff but um I can see it now I didn't realize that I would be happier than I've ever been and there's a kind of contentedness I think it might be hormonal I think something happens to you and like something goes thro
ugh your body or suddenly you're like don't care and uh it makes all of life more precious a nice 50 over 50 message during the Oscars pre show last night the hosts of ease red carpet coverage actresses leverne Cox speaking with nominee Jody Foster well let's talk about 50 over 50 we had the Forbes and know your value 3050 Summit in Abu Dhabi last week and it's the 30 under 30 listers meeting up with the 50 over 50 listers from around the world with amazing amazing guests giving advice and reall

the former president pres of Liberia you you had an incredible conversation with her but M we also heard from women who may not be as high-profile as some that I just mentioned and that you highlighted but women who have come overcome their own adversity in extremely difficult situations that most of us can't even imagine who have risen to the occasion who are telling their truth speaking their truth and making sure that people understand women across the world understand uh that you can come ov
er overcome some very difficult situations you know m i want to read an excerpt from your speech that you gave Friday night at the Gaya which I think was just really inspiring you said perhaps that is why I feels so fortunate that we will be honoring the work of two Nobel Peace Prize winners a holocaust Survivor an environmental activist and an artist whose life story that has shown time and time again the resiliency and Powerful of of a woman's Spirit um we heard from Alisa uh Berber who was a
who was a holocaust Survivor and a rabbi uh she spent the first two years of her life me because she's now 80 years old but as you clearly remember she spent the first two years of her life living in a tunnel with her mouth tape shut because her parents were worried that if she was crying that they would be found and that they would be murdered by um by the Nazis uh we also heard from another woman uh Nadia Morad who's a Nobel Peace Prize winner who was held captive by ISIS for nearly a year and
is now using her story to help other survivors of of Isis captives who are held captive and are ALS is also trying to help other women who have been in those situations overcome the challenges they face so just a really incredible group of women who came together under a shared common purpose which is female resiliency female empowerment and congratulations amga the third annual Summit you and the Forbes team crushed it and I couldn't have been more proud to be a part of this uh special three-d

abor before we go several news agencies have removed a new photo of the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton and her children due to suspicions of manipulation of the photo Kensington Palace released the picture yesterday but many outlets quickly removed it flagging concerns about authenticity the Associated Press noted quote the photo shows an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte's left hand and the Princess of Wales responded this morning writing on social media like many amateur p
hotographers I do occasionally experiment with editing I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused this was the first photo of Kate that the palace has put out since she had unspecified abdominal surgery in January cadd is your thoughts is there anything more you can add to this we still don't really know you know how how sick she is no I mean look this didn't go as planned right this photo was put out to coincide with British Mother's Day
happy British Mother's Day to all of you out there and they hope that this would kind of reassure the British public that Kate is well that she's had her surgery and that her recovery is on progress and of course actually it's just been taken up with this Firestorm about the photograph that seems to rather unfortunately have cut princess Charlotte's hand offer from her arm and so they've had to issue this apology I me I think it's just you know it's about trust right trust is the currency of the
realm at the moment and this doesn't go very far to helping the British public trust what they're seeing from the RO Bo yeah a lot of questions questions about you know people not seeing her as much and yeah and Charles so and and all right we'll have more on this tomorrow that does
