Watching *One Piece* For The First Time!! [Part 1]

hey guys I hope everyone's having a wonderful  day so far my name is V and for today's video I'm doing something that I'm super excited to  start which is the one piece live action this is the first live action adaptation of any  anime that I've ever watched so far and it's also the most promising as I've heard so I've  been wanting to watch the one piece I've been really hesitant because it's such a commitment  but everybody has said that since this one piece live action like adaptation has com

e out it is so  worth it it's worth it to try it it's so much fun and it's done really well against the anime I  do know that the first season covers the first 45 episodes of the anime and the first 95 chapters  of the manga I'm not sure how is live action going to be an adaptation of an anime I haven't seen  even the trailer I'm going in completely blind and I'm going to be sharing this experience  with you so I hope you guys will stick around um and thank you guys so much for even just  taking

ado do let's get into the first episode of the one piece live action  adaptation let's do this this is a world like no other filled with hundreds of islands strewn  across vast Seas this is a world of pirates okay it looks good so far but the Marines strive to  keep you safe and protected we've made a great stride in our effort gold Roger has been captured  interesting camera angles already you have been sentenced to death for the crimes of piracy if you  take these off starting to witch how do

re for authority figures setting off a race across  the seas to find the pirate King's hidden treasure the one piece that's what it is oh  wait okay so the one piece is treasure shangs would tell me stories about pirates in their  Adventures the Sea's been calling we get to see Luffy well I'm not exactly calling because I  pretty much can't swim but you get the idea wait you're a pirate and you can't swim it's fine  though one piece and become king of the virus little dinghy handleburn and you l

ook like so young you look  like you're like 20 maybe so what do you say a bird has a hat I like it mutiny  Mutiny you're one crew member quick thinking at least that's buoyant per se it's  your first day and this is how it's starting out I love that ship is that supposed to be wrong I'll leave the  crap to me because I just know there's a girl with black hair and she has like curly hair  so she had I think she has a hat too so I'm thinking that's that's Robin for some reason  like when I watche

d like a couple episodes of one piece I thought Robin was like a much  later character so I'm gonna say that's her oh I liked Zorro growing up the green  hair I know Zoro must be after me who else is worthy of his Pursuit he had a  list of pirates in their bounties and of course I was at the top the old man  he wasn't on it oh she's disappointed how we clean up this mess coming up she really  murdered this man who's the most powerful pirate of the Seas actually I don't know if  that's Robin then

I don't know what Robin's love name was I know everybody by their  first name and I guess Zorro's last name knock it off please I'm not gonna kill you do  you have any food here Alfredo doesn't let me eat until after she finishes her meal is a ship  oh that's great yes yeah cause I'm a pirate too he's so nonchalant about it he doesn't look like  a pirate they're thieves and murderers aren't you technically a pirate not the pirate sign though  thanks he's back Windmill Village 10 years ago it's

body loves his character and that he is very childish which makes sense because he's  like a kid he's like 20. fruit devil fruit  is a classification it's a class of fruit and his was gum gum next up to the Grand line do you know  how to get that you can't navigate I should have left Alvito if you could do anything in the  world right now what would it be kind of I've always wanted to be a marine ah since I was a kid  if that's what you want I think you should do it I'll help you out leave Luffy so sweet  being a marine is your dream that's good enough for me he's like such an uplifting  positive charact

th  a straw hat the purse captain I got the map there were three of them I must have been planning no  they just kind of fell into each other [Music] I'm a pirate buggy oh five mil that's  my man no matter who I have to kill all right strong first episode I am  pleasantly surprised I understand how they got it from as like an adaptation  now because it has so much anime influence so I just finished watching the first episode of  the one piece live action and that was really my first experience w

ith any anime live action  adaptation so the thing with anime is a lot of the the characters are very over animated so  I realized that the actors that had characters that were very animated they also over animated  as well each character is vastly different from the other one and so far honestly it was a little  bit of like a shock when you see the crowd and everybody has these crazy wigs and eyebrows  and you know the sideburns when I first saw that I was like what the heck I felt like the way

  they introduced the characters as well was very um it was very slick and smooth  and it just felt like it was a very um it was a really good introduction you guys  gotta tell me are all like adaptations kind of like this I mean obviously not since caliber  because this is really good and it kind of just draws you in I have good I have a good  feeling about this and I'm really enjoying it thank you [Music] I feel like with every episode we're gonna  have one boss battle you want trouble you jus

how did you know beautiful Powers rendered useless from a few splashes because he also drank give me  my map my crew you mean the ones that abandoned you just like Shanks did your only chance is to  turn over that map and if you do I may have a very special place on my crew so so he knows about  the sea water because because he had the devil fruit as well also prevents him from having  the power that's at least what I'm assuming join me and then everyone will know my name and  they'll love me a

ttention and love it's sad just like you can't make them smile oh god he has to  force people to like him and that's the saddest part about it I guess it's curtains for you this  guy has some deep seated issues that he really needs to you know get some help for he's gonna  kick your ass there's nowhere you can hide no one is gonna miss you when you're dead who paddles  out to the middle of the ocean to murder a child there's sea monsters in this in the show is  a sea monster about to help Luffy

oh we can't swim remember he can't swim he said in like the  very first sentence we're like lines of the show oh that's why it's so much worse because  he also remembers that moment [Music] oh shank saved him almost murdered  out at Sea drowned by a sea monster I'ma smoke Rose get lost did you  just tell a sea monster to get lost he has to have eaten a devil fruit as well  that's like another Power I'm assuming [Music] I'm just glad that you're okay he doesn't even  care that he lost the limb as
