(upbeat music) - I am Ashley Proulx. I'm a teacher at Schoolcraft Elementary and I teach third grade. One of the reasons that
I'm so proud to be part of the Waterford School District family is the implementation of
all of our new technology. I think we're living in a digital world and we're preparing our
students for their futures by providing them opportunities
with digital literacy. Every student has access
to a one-to-one device. Students can be virtually anywhere and engage in educational ex
periences with personalized support. Learning programs like Lexia, Amira, and DreamBox ensure that
every student receives a learning experience that's tailored to their individual needs. Every classroom you walk into, you'll find a Promethean board. These interactive displays
make teaching more effective by boosting student engagement, and they're really fun to use. Having this technology in the
classroom allows us teachers to make data-driven choices
to help our students grow. This technology i
n our
classrooms is just one way that I think we are working
towards having a dynamic, inclusive, and future
ready learning experience for all of our students, while also supporting every teacher. (gentle music)
