Hosted by Jimmy Fallon, “That’s My Jam” is an hour long music and comedy variety game show that draws inspiration from the most popular “Tonight Show” games. Each episode features two teams of two celebrities competing for a charity of their choice in a series of music, dance, and trivia-based games and musical performances. Signature games to be played include Launch the Mic, Air Guitar, Don’t Drop the Beat, Perfect Mash-Up, Wheel of Impossible Karaoke, Slay It, Don’t Spray It and many more.
The format was brought to Universal Television Alternative Studio by Fallon, longtime “The Tonight Show” producer Jim Juvonen and writer Josh Knapp. Adam Blackstone is Musical Director and will lead the house band throughout each episode. Mike Yurchuk will serve as showrunner.

Adam is very clever. Note how at the beginning he improvises the melody with the repetitive ""muffin man" moving down the scale to get him and the band on the same pitch. Then yells "hey" which tells the band he's ready to get going. He really is a genius at this vocal stuff - he can just pick up anywhere with any group of musicians & nail it.
I love how he even managed to make it sound auto-tuned Cher. He really can do anything with his voice.

I love how he found the key in the beginning. He just started high then moved down until found the key, repeated it to make sure, then created a banger 😂

Loved Adam from Day 1 on Idol. He's a superb entertainer and has a true gift in his voice. So happy to see him grow into such a handsome man.
"Do you have any Cher in you?" Watch the video of him singing Believe a few years ago at the Kennedy Center Honors...that'll make it crystal clear, he does indeed have a lil Cher in him. He sings it beautifully, have some tissues ready.
