Will Princess Kate's diagnosis encourage more people to get screened for cancer?

People across metro Detroit are responding to Princess Kate Middleton revealing her very personal cancer diagnosis. Last week, Kate, the Princess of Wales, announced that the cancer was found during surgery. She did not say what type of cancer she was diagnosed with but said she was undergoing "preventative chemotherapy."

kind of think back of like are you really prioritizing your health cancer is uh about as serious as it comes some people think they think they are Superman they are invincible when you get older your body changes so you always need to check up on yourself the higher income the neighborhood probably the better access to education that should be a universal I personally lost my grandpa of kog cancer I've had some friends and family who who have had cancer and have beaten it I've had the lost famil
y member from cancer and it's one of the hardest one of the hardest situations I had to go through it has taken us time to explain everything to George charlot and Louie in a way that's appropriate for them and to reassure them that I'm going to be okay how hard of a topic is it to talk about very uncomfortable to talk about for people especially when you know someone with cancer does a public announcement like this raise awareness for more people to go and get screened would hope so I'm over 50
so I do all my cancer screenings and and hearing that news just makes me want to call my doctor more I'm 24 and to my grandpa who was diagnosed at 60 we hope that you'll understand that as a family we now need some time space and privacy while I complete my treatment what's hardest about taking the steps being okay with a really hard answer you have a share of people who are proactive you also have a share of people that are nervous you need a community and you need your family to go through a
