Witnesses say kids threw rocks onto US-131, causing damage to vehicles

Two vehicles driving on US-131 were damaged after rocks were thrown at them, the Michigan State Police said Tuesday. At least three other vehicles suffered damages Wednesday. Troopers received a call about the incident around 6:20 p.m. Monday night. The two victims were headed southbound when their cars were hit near the 76th Street exit in the Byron Center area. this is not funny they could have killed me police warning drivers to stay aware of their surroundings after pieces of concrete were thrown at several cars along u.s 131 the incidents happened near 76th street and byron township that's where we find 13 on your side's joshua vinson this morning live with the very latest josh good morning to you good morning jay and emily imagine driving down the highway like this one and out of nowhere a large chunk of concrete comes flying to your car shattering
windows and causing damage well that was exactly the reality for many people out here in south kent county let me tell you what happened it started monday when two drivers reported rocks were thrown at their vehicles while driving down the highway then on tuesday three more drivers reported the same thing they all had similar stories thankfully no one was hurt in either of the incidents police telling us this morning they're looking for two young men who ran towards the railroad tracks nearby a
fter monday's incident they are calling out to the public saying if you see something please say something so we want to encourage individuals that if they know who these young males were come forward do the right thing say you know if they were trying to play a prank this is not something that is something that we want young people to do or anybody to do because it could take someone's life or it could seriously harm someone and on that note that happened to a driver back in 2017 on the east si

If a rock that they threw hit my windshield, even in daylight, I probably would have caused an accident. If these "kids " are caught, they should have to face victims and their families to see how so many people were impacted by their idiocy even if no one was physically injured--this time.
