A girl found a mutated baby shark. Eight months later it had grown into a giant  monster that attacked its owner. At the beginning of the story, a huge shark with  octopus tentacles attacks a group of vacationers, filling the water in the ocean with their  crimson fluid. A guy shoves an explosive device into the monster and tears it  into small pieces. In the aftermath, a sack of baby cubs separates from it. Sometime  later, during an expedition, a marine biologist, Lorena Christmas, discovers a
baby shark in  the water and decides to give it shelter. Eight months pass. Rico Simes, a brilliant  scientist and director of Symodyne, tells his team to reveal his secret research - a  creature which is a hybrid of a barracuda and a pterodactyl, has enhanced physical abilities  and adapts perfectly to any environment. The scientist plans to use the  monster as a perfect military weapon, controlling it through a built-in chip in  its brain. Hamilton, the head of security, warns his boss of the
dangers of this venture,  but Dr. Simes is confident of his success. However, the first difficulties arise in  attempting to bring the Pteracuda back to base. The creature picks up tremendous speed and  flies straight for the lab. Meanwhile, a scientist named Vladimir Futon hastily leaves the building.  The pteracuda bursts in through the roof and bites the head off one of the female employees. Hamilton  shoots the monster, but it manages to fly away. Then the head of security assembles a  team
of soldiers to attack the creature in the air. The pteracuda begins  attacking the military's helicopter, easily dodging their bullets. Meanwhile, Dr.  Simes discovers that the monster's chip has been hacked. Commands to the Pterakuda come from  somewhere else. In the meantime, Vladimir Futon, who has hastily left the company building, sends  the monster a command to get rid of the soldiers. The Pteracuda begins disposing of Hamilton's crew  one by one, tearing their bodies apart with its teeth
. The creature knocks the helicopter into  the sea and proceeds to destroy the fighters in the water, as it is half fish. Only Hamilton  manages to escape the perilous waters onto the beach in time. The Pteracuda flies out of the  water and is about to tear the man apart, but the escaped scientist Futon has an accident while  driving. He damages the monster's remote control, causing the Pteracuda to glitch and fly away. The action shifts to a waterpark oceanarium, where Lorena trains her grown-u
p Sharktopus. The  place is managed by her greedy uncle Munoza. To attract visitors to the water park, he runs a  promotional video about the underwater monster they have managed to tame. Lorena is not happy  with this development, as she wants to present the Sharktopus as a scientific discovery, not a  way to entertain the crowd. Octopuses don't like noise and crowds, preferring to live a reclusive  way of life, but Lorena has managed to achieve a major scientific breakthrough by teaching the
Sharktopus to raise one of its tentacles on cue. But there's no money to be made from such  a spectacle, and Munoza tells her to jolt the monster to get it ready for the show. But the  monster shows no desire to come out of the water, and then Munoza decides to feed it with live fish  to awaken its instinct to hunt. Smelling its prey, the monster breaks free and wounds  a waterpark employee. Afterwards, Lorena's uncle pours chlorine into the pool,  supposedly to calm the rampaging creature. The
angry girl retreats to the dolphin pool, where she is approached by an annoying couple  of tourists. They persistently ask to be shown the Sharktopus and offer to pay generously for  a private show, but the trainer refuses them. Later, Lorena's boyfriend Rick, who  works at the water park as a lifeguard, comes to her office. But the girl is not  inclined to talk because of her pet, who tried to eat the old man today. She's trying to  find a way to eliminate its aggressive behavior, or at least f
ind out the reason for  it. Rick suggests that it is genetic, but Lorena disagrees. She claims that the  creature is much more intelligent than dolphins or primates. It can even express its  desires by pointing its tentacles at what it wants. Rick is annoyed that his girlfriend is too  absorbed in the study of the Sharktopus, and she has no time for a personal life. Lorena gives  in to her boyfriend and agrees to cook dinner. The sharktopus, on the other hand, doesn't seem  like he'll always be
satisfied with just fish. Meanwhile, the pesky tourist couple comes  to Lorena's uncle with complaints about the service of the water park. They demand  to see the much-publicized Sharktopus, offering lots of money for a private show.  The dollar obsessed Munoza leads them straight to the aquarium with the monster. The  couple begins to behave disgustingly, annoying the Sharktopus with their presence.  As the woman sticks her feet in the water, the monster finally comes out, hypnotizing  the wom
an with its tentacle and attacking her. The terrified Munoza pours chlorine into the  pool, and this calms the rampaging creature down a bit. The woman survives, but her  husband threatens to sue the amusement park. While on a date with her boyfriend, Lorena  can't stop thinking about the Sharktopus. The girl tells him that the monster is her  chance to make an incredible scientific discovery and make a name for herself.  However, Lorena is frightened that the creature is too unpredictable and r
eciprocates  only to her. This causes the girl stress, but Rick dismisses her worries, believing that  his job as a rescuer is far more difficult. The badly injured Hamilton returns to the  lab. Dr. Simes informs him that control of the Pteracuda has been completely lost and  sarcastically declares that it is high time he fled abroad. Hamilton, however, is  not ready to leave the country in peril and offers to find a weapon against the  monster. Right at that moment, a report is shown on televis
ion with the tourists  who have been injured by the Sharktopus. Dr. Simes realizes that the underwater creature  can be used in the fight against the Pteracuda. They arrive at the oceanarium to meet  Lorena's uncle and inform him that he is illegally keeping a secret U.S. Navy  military weapon in his aquarium. After paying Munoza a hefty sum of money, they  convince him to borrow the Sharktopus to destroy the Pteracuda. Dr. Simes plans to  implant a special device in the monster's brain to contr
ol its actions and give  the order to destroy the Pteracuda. Lauren's uncle takes the men to the aquarium  and pumps chlorine inside. The enraged Sharktopus jumps out of the water, but Hamilton  immediately shoots him with a sleeping dart. He then uses a drill and implants a sensor into  the Shark's cerebral cortex. Upon seeing this, the enraged Lorena tries to stop the procedure,  but her uncle manages to lock her in a closet. Several divers go underwater, unaware that the  Pteracuda is out the
re preparing to make lunch out of them. Meanwhile, Hamilton and Dr.  Simes decide to test the monster's control mechanism. The men unleash the Sharktopus  into the water to attack the flying foe. Before engaging in a fierce battle, the monsters  wipe out all the divers. During the fight it becomes clear that the monsters' abilities and  powers are equal. The Sharktopus tries to drag the Pteracuda into the depths, entangling its  body with his tentacles, but Pteracuda manages to break free. Not e
xpecting such resistance,  the Pteracuda comes out, deeply wounded by Sharktopus' tentacles, yet fights back with  its fin and flies off in an unknown direction. Lorena contacts Rick and informs him  that the Sharktopus has been released into the bay and people are now under dire  threat. Meanwhile, the underwater monster decides to snack on some vacationers on the  beach. Its first victim is a famous TV host. Meanwhile, Rick tries to warn the vacationers  of the approaching danger, but his word
s do not seem convincing, and they continue having fun.  Soon the beach is attacked by the Pteracuda, who has been attracted by a kite in the form  of the Sharktopus and wipes them all out. Meanwhile, Dr. Simes discovers that his  former employee Victor Futon has hacked into the Pteracuda's chip. The villain  himself tries to regain access to control the flying monster. The Pteracuda damages the  plane's engine and destroys everyone on board, including the couple to whom Munoza  had previously s
hown the Sharktopus. After receiving a large sum of money  for keeping quiet about the monster, Lorena's lucky uncle announces the closure  of the water park. Soon he remembers that he left his niece in the closet, but the girl  manages to escape her confinement on her own. The Sharktopus and the Pteracuda once again  engage in battle. The Pteracuda tries to use its advantage by swooping down from the air to  attack the Sharktopus time after time. It tries to fight back with its tentacles, but t
he flying  monster still manages to grab it. In the air, Pterakuda rips the device that controls  the opponent's actions from its head and releases it back into the sea.  Frustrated by yet another failure, Simes suggests to his partner that they run away,  for they have done all they can do. However, the brave Hamilton disagrees with the boss again,  and thinks they should deal with the Pteracuda. Along the way, Simes and Hamilton spot  Lorena and kidnap her. They tell her about the Pteracuda an
d ask her to help them  stop it with the help of the Sharktopus, whose control has been lost. They convince  the girl that it's in her best interest, since the Sharktopus is like a child to  her, and she probably wants him back. Lorena advises them to go to the beach,  where her pet is supposed to run rampant. In the meantime, Rick is on a jet ski scouring  the coast for survivors and picks up an injured girl. Hamilton stops outside a hunting store  to pick up the necessary equipment to fight th
e monsters. Lorena stays in the car under Simes'  care and remembers that she read his research paper back in college. But over time, the ordinary  scientist craved more fame and money. And when the Pentagon decided to start developing genetic  weapons, he saw his chance and couldn't miss it. Suddenly, Lorena notices her boyfriend Rick  through the car window, carrying a tourist. Simes, meanwhile, is distracted by the radar,  which has spotted the scientist hacking into the Pteracuda control boa
rd, and the girl  discreetly runs off to her boyfriend. Together they resuscitate the victim, but Rick informs  them that he must save the other vacationers. The rescuer drives off on his jet  ski, and Lorena is chased down by Simes. They witness a pursuit in which  the Pteracuda rips Rick's head off. Dr. Simes drags the distraught girl back to  the van. Hamilton calms her down and tells her that she must use her knowledge of the  Sharktopus to subdue it. And the man will do the rest of the work
to disarm both monsters. Lorena surmises that because of the stress, the Sharktopus should now return to a place  he knows well. She tells both partners that the monsters are probably on their way to the  water park through the water channel. Dr. Simes, however, wants to catch Vladimir Futon  first, to prevent him from regaining access to the Pteracuda. The scientist  is horrified to discover that the villain intends to blow up a nearby nuclear  power plant using the flying monster. Meanwhile,
it turns out that the Sharktopus is  a vindictive creature. He returns to the water park and eliminates Lorena's uncle, who has  been taunting him all along. The guards try to shoot the monster, but this angers him even  more and he destroys the entire facility staff. Hamilton's team reaches the hotel where Futon is  hiding. The head of security fails to intimidate the receptionist, but Simes bribes one of  the hotel employees and he reveals which room Vladimir is in. Pretending to be a hostess,
Lauren sneaks into the villain's room and lets her partners in. They learn that Futon works  for a foreign criminal organization. Meanwhile, the news reports that the government  is looking for Simes for questioning, believing him to be the only one  responsible for the monster attack. Taking advantage of the confusion of those around  him, Futon snatches his gun from under his pillow, forces them to put down their weapons,  and runs off with his computer. A pursuit ensues and Hamilton manages
to shoot the  villain before he regains control of the monster. The Pteracuda shows up in  town and eats the wounded Futon. After examining his computer, Simes  reports that the monster is still in rage mode. Lauren offers to trap him in  the bay, and the team sets off. On the way, their van is attacked by the Pteracuda, and  Simes forces Hamilton and Lorene to get out of the car with the computer,  dooming them to certain death. The soldier tells the girl to  take shelter in a safe place and d
ecides to engage the monster alone. The Pteracuda quickly prevails, and  Hamilton is forced to hide out in the same beach house as Lorena. The man admits  to working for the mad scientist to provide for his three-year-old daughter. Meanwhile,  the Sharktopus bursts into Lorena's room and affectionately strokes her face. The monsters  again engage in fighting in the shallow waters. Hamilton drives away in another car with the  computer, intending to stop the dangerous hybrids himself. Lorena has
no choice but to return home,  where she learns that her uncle has passed away. The next day, Simes tries to sell his  services to another country to help him escape safely from America. However, the  scientist is overtaken by Hamilton and, having a gun pointed at him, forces  him into a boat. Realizing that he is going to be used as a bait, Simes tries to  bribe the man, but he remains unyielding. As the scientist climbs into the boat,  Hamilton shoots holes in the structure and it begins to si
nk. Simes is torn in  half by the Sharktopus and the Pteracuda, and Hamilton returns to Lorena with his  notes on the flying monster. However, the girl is distraught over the demise of  her loved ones and is already ready to give up. She holds herself responsible for what has  happened and fears becoming as obsessed as Simes. Hamilton restores her faith in herself  and tells her that she can still affect her future. While studying the scientist's  notes, Lorena discovers the Pteracuda's secret.
The creature is warm-blooded. And  that's why it eats up more calories than its body can take in. Because of this, the  Pteracuda is always hungry, and must eat constantly to stay alive. In other words, it  can't travel far from populated areas. Also, the Pteracuda loves anything bright, so  it tends to attack people wearing jewelry. They devise a plan to destroy both monsters. Since  barracudas love anything bright, the partners use a disco ball to lure it into the bay. While  chasing the spher
e, the Pteracuda hits the boat and Lorena falls into the water. Immediately  the Sharktopus appears nearby and protects the trainer. Hamilton shoots the Pteracuda  with a harpoon with explosives on a timer. Hamilton and Lorena only have thirty seconds to  get away. The Sharktopus is holding the Pteracuda underwater in the meantime. The countdown comes to  an end, there is an explosion, and the monster is torn to pieces. Hamilton and Lorena hastily  walk away from the scene of the explosion. Howe
ver, his assumptions turned out  to be wrong. At the end of the story, the enraged Sharktopus seizes their boat  with his tentacles and lunges at the couple. Do you think humans will be able to  overpower the Sharktopus? Like this video and leave your thoughts  in the comments. See you soon!

I attended a film class and that professor once said, you'll never enjoy a movie if you watch it with a discerning eye, enjoy the ridiculous things.

@yulb.allwright

The half-shark, half-octopus is a sea monster known as a Lusca, from Caribbean folklore.
