This is the kind of competition I expected for the TOC. Easily the best game of the TOC thus far. Congrats to the winner, all three contestants played extremely well and should be very proud.
Really upset that Juveria is out
Great run for Juveria in the ToC. Good luck to Luigi in the semis. He was one of the first contestants in season 39, I believe, when Ken Jennings became the primary host.

I too was thinking the Chunnel, but think about it, Juveria was just dominating. She started by getting $8000 without an incorrect response before either of the gentlemen rang in, let alone with a correct response. The Daily Doubles in Double Jeopardy! made the difference, proving that the Daily Doubles are the luck part to this show.
I understood the French, but had never heard of Eurostar.

I knew that the "echo" was of "North Star", but I forgot Eurostar existed as a concept. I would have written Chunnel too, knowing it couldn't be right. Easy for me to feel dumb about my mistake. I didn't lose $21,000 and a trip to the semifinals. Good for Luigi. He knew it. They didn't. He won. The way it oughta be.
All my favorites went out early in this year's TOC. Just shows the level of competition this season. Amazing show as always!
Spoiler below: As the gamers would say: IT’S-A-LUIGI TIME! I was rooting for Juveria, but Luigi came back swinging on two true daily doubles, big congrats to him and to Juveria for getting as far as she did, her efforts will not go unnoticed.
