In order of appearance: Courtney Act (Shane Jenek) is a singer, actor, podcaster, theatremaker and advocate. With a career that has spanned Australia, the US and UK, Courtney has taken Australian drag to the world. Jane Marsden commenced her career in LGBTQIA+ community activism in the eighties. Since then, she has sat on the Board of Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras, has been director and chair of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Community Press (former publisher of Sydney Star Observer) and is a founding director of The Aurora Group, an organisation raising funds for community projects through fabulous arts events. Rudy Jean Rigg is a content creator, advocate and host of Rainbow History Class. Through the lessons on Tiktok and Instagram, Rudy helps create a space to tell historical queer and trans stories that inspire, validate and inform our community and allies. Bhenji Ra is an interdisciplinary artist and transgender community leader whose practice combines dance, choreography, video and event making. She is the mother of ballroom collective the House of Slé and also joins the Sydney WorldPride team as a curatorial associate for our 2023 festival program. Daniel McDonald is a Gadigal and Wonnarua man who represents Aboriginal art through his distinctive style of dot painting 'Deadly Hand Talk', passed down by his Elders. He is also dedicated to amplifying the voices of people living with disabilities in the arts and culture sectors. Mitch Major is a photographer who was born and raised in Awabakal country, in Newcastle. His love for capturing faces and moments has taken him around the world, and he is deeply inspired by his queer community.
