A WEEK IN SWITZERLAND: the most beautiful country (& most expensive $$$)

[Music] thank you [Music] like looking at this honey okay mob see ya Vic and I are in this really cute Cafe we're about to get our tattoos so we're just killing some time before our Fortune so we're at the airport find out our flight got canceled so we're now waiting to hear back from customer service to see if we can get booked back on our flight so if you could be posted thank you we'll just have one more bed to go foreign [Music] so we just picked up our rental car Brandon's excited it's a li

ttle BMW we're headed to our hotel to check in take a nice little shower freshen up and then head out for the day [Music] hello welcome to our room we just got here and when the lady gave us our little room tour and I were like it's not show us the door anyways look at the zoo so we have a nice little living area and then our bathroom is better you also have a walk-in closet coffee station and things do you have Sonic we do not have a sauna in here shower bathroom hot tub with a view [Music] wow

[Music] foreign [Music] Next Up dessert Swiss chocolate lemon oh my God these are so big how big these are the chunky guy pretty good macaron they're so Airy wow pretty chocolate and I just toured the whole property and we were just saying this is probably one of our favorite hotels we've ever been to probably favorite yeah probably top and the front desk lady was saying too that there's a tram that takes us into the cities and there's electrical bikes for rental it's a historical Trail so we'r

e headed down to the pool right now get some relaxation before our dinner reservation at seven [Music] hey hey [Music] [Music] look at the mom after dinner dinner time are we going the lobster room it's like a pop-up restaurant see you at dinner [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] thank you foreign [Music] holy crap it's just after 10 o'clock three and a half hours three and a half hour dinner oh my God it's so full but so good we had so much caviar so much caviar or so much Seafood what a t

reat yeah that's my brand this is probably our best first day oh [Music] [Music] good morning waking up earlier today was so difficult I actually woke up around 6 30 caught the sunrise and I was fully in the bathroom getting ready to go and Brandon was like are you waking up waking up because I'm not and I was like oh so we got back into bed now it's 9 A.M well this is like for sure one of the prettiest hotels properties I've ever been to and waking up with this view with like the mountains is g

orgeous I'm gonna get ready for the day Brandon's out on a run he'll be back shortly we're gonna go out and explore a little bit of Zurich [Music] right there [Music] is that delicious last time we were in Europe we used a hot spot and we rented it from this company called Hip Pocket Wi-Fi this time we have an old iPhone and we just bought like an international SIM at the airport and I think it was 35 for unlimited data text everything so we're just using it as a hot spot for our phones and this

is probably the most cost effective method because in the past when we've done an international plan through Verizon it ended up costing almost twenty dollars per day so if you have an old phone highly recommend or if you want to do the pocket Wi-Fi rental that also works but it does add up especially if you're going to be in Europe for more than a week Instagram [Music] Brandon just said is it me or is every word super lost [Music] that's where we are where are we gonna go hiking whoa this loo

ks like a cold bath can you dip your hands in it translated the page that tells you how to use called an arm back [Music] so we're in this cute little town called we're waiting for the tourist center to open so we can ask some questions about what hike we need to take but walking around this cute little town a lot of the little shops only take cash but it was actually nice because we got gelato and then they realized afterwards that we didn't have a card so then they let us take the gelato they

trusted us they like enjoy the ice cream get it get us later yeah come back with the cash we were like great okay foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] Jennifer and I are set out on a hike we had to take a gondola up that just took 10 minutes to get up to the top but it was around 35 per person so it's not cheap we only have about two hours before the last Gondola goes down and we're fully in the snow he's currently scoping easy goes it Bob speeder [Music] foreign [Music] how good is it [Music] thank

you freshened up before dinner but had such a good time today hiking it was pretty easy like we saw a lot of like families older couples so wasn't too big of a challenge Because the actual Trail we wanted to had snow on it unfortunately yeah so if you guys want to do the hike would highly recommend going up the gondola because there's a lot of really great hikes that kind of start from there make sure you give yourself more than enough time people are definitely up there with some intense backpa

cks hiking here that dinner at the hotel [Music] [Music] [Music] what's up today we're headed to breakfast last day at this hotel is so sad [Music] [Music] [Music] I could drive for hours and hours out here literally every corner Brendan's like holy so we're on the road sadly we're only at the hotel just for a couple of days but oh my god wow wow we're over here too okay wow just got so badly distracted but we're only staying at the dolder for a couple of days but favorite Hotel I've ever been t

o Easley was such a good start to the trip so now we have very high expectations for the rest of the hotel so if you are going to Zurich highly recommend I would say worth the money right burn this like like face over here it's bad but we're headed now to Grindelwald we have our next hotel just over two hours away lots of activities planned we watched a couple of lots on the way here so we have quite a few excursions that we want to do that our hotel is going to hopefully help us book so you kno

eaking carry some speed or else you get stuck with these plebs I ain't get enough speed and then these little things that's what we're taking that's the first flyer holy [ __ ] look at this it's just gonna be crazy how excited are you guys ready ready nope [Music] [Music] said the first fly was so fun so fast Brandon lost his hat that's okay but it was uh it was fun the ride itself was probably like less than a minute gotta do it exhilaration is like yeah foreign [Music] [Music] the whole time I

was just like insane like looking at this literally just made me honey come on I'm recording I'm literally trying Okay so okay fine let's go dude [Music] I'm lactose intolerant I'm lactose but I still love you holy God love you holy cow I don't want him to bite my hand off [ __ ] is that what that tongue oh my God I'm gonna eat up like dinner after all the activities [Music] walk home it's had a nice spontaneous dinner just had some pizzas walking back to the hotel but that was probably one of

r right yeah so we're gonna hike back see what other activities we have to do it's already 2 p.m but it was nice to get a little snack a little break go [Music] oh boy [Music] Brandon's ready okay [Music] so Brian and I are back at our hotel and we are actually now at the Belvedere Grindelwald pretty nice hotel the rooms are a little bit dated and nothing much to show you so we didn't even do everything but we had a full day of exploring the top of Europe today there was a lot of little activiti

es that you could do at the top of this Gondola and they made it super easy to figure out like what train in Gondola to use to get there super picturesque brand I did a little hike in the snow for like 30 minutes the only thing that's kind of limiting is you want to make sure that the weather's good because a lot of stuff was closed once we actually got back down on like ground level it was raining a lot so time of year makes a big difference I know in May it's like not quite summer so a lot of

places are actually closed down until summer actually starts and then they reopen in the winter so make sure you check it's supposed to rain tomorrow so we're just gonna drive around explore certain cities so it's nice to not have to rely on public transportation and be outside when the weather is kind of crappy we also normally are huge Foodies we love to go around and try new foods but we notice here that there's not a whole lot to choose from so we've actually been eating a lot at the hotel t

ells that we've been staying at we've been having breakfast at the hotel which usually works and is totally fine so don't expect much for food but tomorrow we are gonna go to some of the cities and see if there's like any good food Cafe spots to go to but everything here so far has had a lot of cheese nothing crazy and everything is actually pretty expensive like it is definitely a lot of people have sex with two and it's expensive and it's expensive the top of the world stuff that we did was ju

st under 200 per person it was probably like what four or five hours of activities ideally if you're gonna do it go up really early so you can do you can get the most out of the day yeah up on a sunny day yeah those are all included in this for the whole day so like if you buy a ticket make sure you make use of the gondolas go try a bunch of different ones our hotel also gave us a free bus pass which is really nice and I think with your ticket sometimes it includes like the trains and cable cars

and stuff too so there's a lot you can do you just have to like really plan for it and it is like a long day of just being outside so anyways we're gonna go in the sauna see you guys tomorrow bye [Music] foreign I've been looking for these sunglasses the last couple of days just found them in the car yeah I literally thought I lost them so yay has been driving the last Almost hour but we just pulled into this town called burn we actually heard about it from when we were in Provence there's anot

her I think he was a German gentleman and he recommended the city in Switzerland and Brandon had saved it ever since and now we're here kind of a cute little bustling City seen a lot of really nice houses and we're gonna go in and have some brunch my life foreign what clean sober and I just finished our quick little dinner we went to like a random not random Brandon looked it up but it was a pasta place I had really good ratings and we got in right when they opened and we got really lucky becaus

e the restaurant started turning down people so we're able to eat an early dinner but we're hanging out in a town called Lucerne I don't know if it's the same Lucerne as the milk brand but we're now headed back to our hotel in Grindelwald [Music] [Music] on the Polar Express [Music] [Music] Tasmania we're in uh the hotel salt water pool that's like partially outside outside not partially outside but we are going to bring this Vlog to a close tomorrow we took a train back to Milan we're actually

going to go to check out our venue in Lake Como and continue our Vlog in Italy for the week we'll do a quick list down below of the cities that we went to some of the activities that we did the hotels we stayed at Etc but there are notes on the screen we try to spend a lot of time putting a lot of the text on screen while those events are happening so if you guys want to refer back to that there's a lot of information there but anyways I hope you guys enjoyed we had such a good time in Switzerla
