Bodkin Official Trailer 2024

Bodkin is an dark comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters (Will Forte, Siobhán Cullen, Robyn Cara) who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in a quaint, coastal Irish town. Dropping May 9, Bodkin is from Barack and Michelle Obama‘s Higher Ground productions — the company’s first scripted drama series at Netflix as part of its overall deal. David Wilmot (Station Eleven) and Chris Walley (The Last Voyage of the Demeter) also star in the seven-episode thriller that was shot in Ireland. Forte plays Gilbert, a charming, open, and enthusiastic podcaster from the U.S. who’s on the hunt for his next big story. Originally from Chicago, Gilbert’s family emigrated from Cork, and is hoping to discover his Irish roots. Cullen portrays Dove, a hard-nosed investigative journalist from Dublin who has a fine-tuned bullshit detector and a healthy disdain for authority and hypocrisy. Cara plays Emmy, a bright, funny and eager to please researcher who has been helping Gilbert organize the podcast. Bodkin was created by Jez Scharf (Mister Biscuits, The UnDream). Scharf and Alex Metcalf (The Loudest Voice, Sharp Objects) serve as co-showrunners and executive produce with the Obamas, along with Tonia Davis for Netflix-based Higher Ground, David Flynn and Paul Lee for wiip and Nne Ebong for Netflix. #trailer #trailers #trailer2024 #trailers2024 #movie #movies #movie2024 #movies2024 #newmovie #upcomingmovie #upcomingmovies #upcomingmovies2024 #newmovietrailer #newmovietrailers #newestmovietrailers #tvseries #series #miniseries #netflixseries #netflix #darkcomedy #blackcomedy #blackhumor #thriller https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR2yaJE5CvDHPiEDB0Fn_Ww?sub_confirmation=1 - Please subscribe now and you won't miss anything https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcv2XN_3uxe6q6iPqwiUnTtvRMSdW1DXC - Movie trailers 2024

Yeah? Hi there. Are you Bridgit Pierce? You the podcasters? Yes. Yes, we are. Okay. I'm a journalist. I'm still consulting on a true-crime podcast in the arse end of nowhere. I've always thought that Ireland was the most beautiful country in the world. All I see is ****. Fields and fields of ****. Twenty-one years ago, three people disappeared. On the Irish Night of the Dead, Samhain. So cool. -Nice sunglasses. -**** off. We've never even had a serial killer in Ireland. We're a naturally good pe
ople. There's an island of nuns teaching yoga. It just keeps getting better! We need to find the real Bodkin. Bad things happen here just like everywhere else. I hear you're interested in the lads that went missing. I know what happened to them. They were attacked. By horses. You should never trust a horse. You lads seem awful interested in the past. Our lives aren't fodder for your entertainment. The three of youse poking around in everything will lead to no good. We are being threatened. It me
ans there's a story here. This is extremely good news. This is my podcast. I make the rules. What did you do? Whatever happened that night is still important to someone. I came to Bodkin expecting a simple cold case. What if the cold case… isn't cold? Do you lads like a bit of a party? Well, yeah. Yeah. Sure. ****'s sake.
