Can a foreigner find UK locations? | GeoGuessr challenge

I have no concept of geography and that's going to become very obvious almost immediately hi everyone it's me for those of you who don't know me my name is Elena and I'm a Canadian but I have been living here in the UK for the last eight years now just cuz I've been here eight years doesn't mean I know how to read a map So today we're going to play some UK geoguesser now what is that basically you are plopped down on Google Street View somewhere in the world and you have to figure out where you

are and in the spirit of embarrassing myself online we are going to do it today only UK places and I know that I'm going to struggle so can a foreigner find these UK places let's find out all right everyone here we go who's nervous me thank you so much for asking so we are going to do only UK places leave a comment down below how many of these did you get right I think I might vomit all right we will not have a time limit because I am an idiot here we go everybody good luck this looks like the U

K okay we've got an abandoned I mean it's a beautiful building it's a shame it's abandoned we've got a blurred out house I wonder why lots of construction on this road beautiful little neighborhood wow these houses are look how big though you got a little everyone's got a beautiful little uh driveway all right so first things first we need to get to like a main road if at all possible or a sign perhaps okay whales okay right that looks Welsh to me I haven't been to whales in many years okay so h

ere is our is our map we are somewhere now I I imagine Oaken halt is probably um not very big so we need to figure it out all right let's see if we can get to a main road I'll tell you what though I could have sworn this was England for some reason this looks very English to me now I've been to Wales I've been up snowdonia I was woful unprepared but I made it to the top in the rain and in sweatpants if you can believe it but I've also been to um Conway in the north and um ciff I thought Cardiff

was really nice like nice City Historic the castle is beautiful okay we are most certainly in Wales but where about the Tradesman arms unfortunately not helpful let's just see if we can get out into anything that resembles a main road or a highway or literally anything but I'll tell you what this looks like a beautiful place anybody from Wales here hi can you read what okay Flint castle that's that's a good good show whereabouts is this is nice teddy bear tow day nursery and Vogue hair fash that

's probably not helpful but Flint Castle literally not a foggy idea where that would be we probably have to be pretty close up on the map to Oak Wood was that the original sign no it was Oak and something wasn't it I think we got to be pretty close zoomed in to try and find a castle one might think but let's just I'm just going to okay we've got a burial chain these are in Welsh that's what was it in Welsh not even going to attempt to say that word I think the Welsh language is so interesting an

d I hope it doesn't die out um no I'm sure it's difficult to maintain you know when so many people just speak English and you know what I love the English language because I know how to speak it but it's uh it'll be a real shame if if um Welsh dies away oh my God I was just about to give up I feel like it's been a million minutes I'm probably going to have to cut the absolute crap out of this video I have found Flint follow for Flint Castle we found it now I don't know how close we are so let's

just leave our map there for a hot second and let's continue on and hopefully follow the signage for Flint Castle although Oaken Holt that's actually where we started and no I don't think we saw that we technically so with geog guesser if you've never played you're you're supposed to pinpoint where you started and we saw the sign for tin Holt okay hold on let's return to the start that's a really small street so we might not be able to find that but can we find this road that we are on currently

I'm actually kind of hopeful that we might figure this out which honestly is more than I was expecting Caesar Avenue but what is this road called why is there so few signs I'm lost help me okay there's a spar here I remember walking past the spars so say this is the sign maybe did we is there a spar anywhere no okay so could we maybe have gone in from the other direction I am facing northish north west is that mean anything to anybody I don't remember seeing the yacht in but we did see Caesar's

Avenue and that was that creepy little Street wasn't it oh my god I've never actually been able now normally when I play um geoguesser it's with you guys on Twitch so I live stream on Twitch every Wednesday night and every Sunday night you are more than welcome to come along you do not have to pay or subscribe or anything to join I will be there regardless and a lot of times I play with you guys and um we play as a team so um I am carried often when we play together I've never actually been abl

Pizza Hut I think the game's giving me really easy ones because it knows where I am sometimes I don't even know what country anyway morning Side Road we're in Scotland and to be fair these buildings kind of look like Scotland I haven't been to Scotland in a long time but I've been to Edinburgh um that's kind of it to be honest I know that's embarrassing what if this is Edinburgh can you believe it now sometimes these buildings or these shops will have the name of the place but unfortunately I d

on't know a lot of Scottish place names oh could it be now this could be the outskirts of Edinburgh let's be honest okay let's take it easy no because the Royal Edinburgh hospital is nearby okay oh my God I'm going to pass away now edra is a big place Western General no Royal infirmary is that the same as Royal Edinburgh perhaps they don't have enough on the sign you know not enough space okay um but we don't know how far away it is do we or if that's even how many hospitals does does this place

have Liberton Hospital jeez Louise oh I just saw moring side did you see that or did I just make that up I could have sworn I just saw hey Edinburgh boot camp I wonder what that is morning side oh oh my God now we were on morning Side Road or something something along those lines this could be completely unrelated is is this thing still on are you guys still there wow I am buzzing that could that that might just be a red herring because I don't we're kind of on a main road where there's loads o

f um shops and things okay get rid of the map for a hot second if we were to follow this road o an M&S to the hospital how wow look at these homes but oh we're not not allowed down that road that's unfortunate how are we going to get to the hospital look at these buildings though okay that's stressful I'm just going down this Main Road um seeing if anything jumps out at me what that would be I don't know oh they got a cafe Nero wow how Posh this looks nice look at the size of it the Merlin beaut

iful where are we though dominoes oh my God you everything you could ever ask for morning Side Medical Practice okay we really got to figure out what morning side is so make this big Royal infirmary that potentially could be the hospital that we are looking for the other hospitals don't come up that far out and we've got these two morning side Roofing and morning side joinery but it's in boxton or buckstone so I don't I don't understand I'm a little bit confused I'll be completely honest oh my G

od waitress and partners morning side we I think this is the road that we morning side people on Twitch are literally never going to believe that this happened okay where did where did we begin there's so many shops Costa I'm pretty sure we saw Costa um maybe not that far up we we were at the kids it was um a nursery wasn't it or maybe we're going the wrong way maybe we need to come down this way morning side South morning Morningside Primary School okay hold on let's go back to the beginning we

want a Sainsbury's local and we want the mornings side children's nursery um I feel like sainsbury would come up right okay I've gotten lost where did it say morning side are we just kind of in this region I never actually figured out what road this is oh there's some really nice let's just have a peak going this way um we go this way Carlile Peebles I don't know geography you think that's going to help me out okay there's like a big intersection here um that's kind of like a weird shape I feel

mercy side oh God I was so excited okay Morningside Drive why can't we find Morningside Road why is it got to edra why you got to be like this my camera's going to die before I have a chance to find you I'm I I feel like I'm so close um but I just can't quite get there these houses are gorgeous here's the thing I love I live in Ken if you're found this video you never seen before what's up I live in Kent I love Kent but I don't have um any family here necessarily other than my partner's family

so I'm kind of like open to morning morning Side Station where I'm kind of open to potentially living anywhere right like the UK is such a big beautiful place um I'm not necessarily Morningside Grove Morningside moggies what is that so anytime we go someplace um recently we went to cheltonham um and I was like oh my God this place is gorgeous could I live here anytime we play this game I'm like o could I live here the Merlin we saw the Merlin what side of the street that was on the left side was

n't it I think we started down here and I'm just getting getting confused we also saw Cafe Nero so um this is taking me forever I'm trying to find the um kids Nursery but maybe like it's not there anymore I don't know if we go back to the start one more time I'm going to look for the Sainsbury's local or neapolitan pizza and then we got to call it a day oh what hold on I'm going to get this so there's a little Junction here right I think this is the little I think we are right here oh my God the

us because Villages are very difficult now I think we're going to have to go by this reading okay whereabouts is that now when I went to ch cheltonham right here this stop on the train kind of close was reading down here okay not terrible we're kind of getting somewhere the a327 I'm really bad with some people when they play they go by highways and they go by Road names and stuff like um the M4 those kind of don't really mean anything to me because um I am hopeless now we're not in readings ther

orry I yelled at you go away we are on Reading Road and this stop moving around godamn this sign says arborfield church I am buzzing people are never going to believe that I was able to do this I might be speaking too soon okay Reading Road This Is Us beautiful Reading Road and then and it turns off into other things so we're on this road and it says the church do we see a church anywhere no okay that's fine we'll just continue we also have uh what was it Church Road or something oh oh my god I

think I'm G to literally pass out okay so this is Church Road isn't it Church Lane oh my God okay hold up so we start at the Junction of Church Lane and Reading Road the whole okay rewind the reason I wanted to do this video someone in the community mentioned it who plays geoguesser with me God bless you and I thought it would be really funny because I am not good at this game like I said when I play with the community they carry me right because I have no idea where I am so I thought this video

up a little bit let's have a look at the sign oh where'd it go no hope you guys aren't motion sick okay oh Liverpool I do know what that means but how far away is it hey is Trafford you guys got a Trafford Hospital okay nothing's jumping out at me so Liverpool leads wait isn't is that a different Liverpool cuz isn't leads like over here are there multiple huh okay now I'm getting a a little bit nervous because I've done so well let's just let's go back to this main roundabout we're not going to
