Thank you for Super Friday! We are also working on Friday! Did you know the U.S. Embassy has been interviewing visa applicants on the weekend? Good morning! The U.S. Embassy has resumed regular consular services some months ago. but we have long wait times for both
non-immigrant and immigrant visas due to the pandemic. In order to help our applicants
and to reduce wait times we're working some weekends to lower those wait times and we
call these special work days "Super Fridays" During these
Super Fridays, we interviewed over 4,600 nonimmigrant visa applicants, including students and tourists, and almost 1400 immigrant visa applicants to reduce wait times. Many thanks to the U.S. Embassy After the COVID situation, they have made a lot of progress in calling more applicants and reducing the wait times. Hats off to them!
