hey everyone I'm Julia Gonzales  and this week we're spending 24 hours in Córdoba in this travel guide  I'll share with you how we spent the day in Córdoba to give you ideas on  what to see do and eat during your visit our adventure starts at the train  station in Sevilla where we're catching an early morning train that will take us from Sevilla  directly to Córdoba in 45 minutes for just under €18 so we just arrived in Cordoba I'm not  saying it right Cordoba Cor do ba Cordoba Cordoba Córdoba l
ocated in the region of  Andalusia in southern Spain has ancient Origins dating back to the prehistoric  times when it was settled by various civilizations we're on the Roman Bridge we're trying to figure out how to buy tickets for  the Alcázar we we thought there was a little stand but you don't get them there okay we figured it out this is where you can buy them this Palace has a long history and was once  used by Christian monarchs as a residence and Fortress it was constructed in 1328 and i
t's  famous for its beautiful architecture and Gardens pretty oh I love this the palace is beautiful but the  gardens are the showstopper a set of Gardens and Orchards have existed  in this area since at least the 10th century and includes a number of elegant  fountains and ponds I was taking in this gorgeous Fountain when out of the corner  of my frame I noticed something a little weird oh sometimes kids fall in the  pond it's okay just hopefully has some extra clothes he had extra clothes he's
fine hey my kid's done that it happens I'm in complete all of this place and  then I have the Alice Wonderland moment can you go can you go in I love this this is like the  ultimate Treehouse it's really it's a tree Castle I love it wow this place is beautiful I mean look around  it's beautiful um and right now I am so sick I do not feel well but what food bloggers won't  tell you is that you're trying all this different food and you will get sick it will happen it's  just part of trying new fo
ods being new places and you just got to roll with the punches and  still try to enjoy yourself unfortunately for my husband that's all he's been hearing about  all day I unfortunately have not been feeling well while I'm not feeling well off I'm trying not to throw up I am so sick off soal sh not to throw up so nauseous I don't feel well you will get  sick and I'm just doing my best not to throw up moving on this is the Cathedral of Córdoba  knowing that we were going to be here on this day we
did purchase our tickets  ahead of time online and they cost just €13 the Cathedral of Córdoba Spain started as  a mosque back in the 8th Century it was built by the Muslims who ruled Spain at the time  later when the Christians conquered Cordoba they turned the mosque into a cathedral in  the 13th century the cathedral is famous for its unique architecture that blends both  Islamic and Christian Styles look how it just keeps going it's a symbol of the rich  cultural history of Córdoba showcasin
g the influences of different civilizations over  the centuries wow the treasury houses a collection of religious artifacts including  precious metal works painting ings and manuscripts wow wow by now we figured our hotel would be  ready so we headed back okay I think I'm rebounding I'm starting to feel a little  better and we got into our room so here's our little room for the evening very simple but  cute the bed I mean look it how fancy little bathroom rebounding after some after some much-ne
eded rest I  was feeling a lot better so we were off for some dinner so tonight we are at Damasco I um I've  rallied guys I've rallied I'm going to try to eat haven't gotten to eat all day cuz I haven't  been feeling well so I really was craving like some Mediterranean and that's what Damascus is  known for so that's right with there tonight rally we started off with the alcazar salad  hummus and rice exactly what I was craving oh my God so good this is exactly what I needed this is pinchos mixt
o which  includes meats like chicken and lamb oh wow oh you got another one yes  okay yeah you ordered too much looks like a Middle Eastern quesadilla with like hamburger in  the middle yeah like ground beef It's really good so earlier we tried to get in for dinner around 4:00 but everything was kind of shutting  down then they re-open so it's like 8:00pm we came back and got right in something to expect when traveling in Spain dinner here at Damasco was delightful we had a couple glasses of win
e a salad hummus rice Pinchos mixto, Arayes with meat and cheese and our bill was €66 we slept well and now we're up bright  and early to catch an early train back to Sevilla but not before one last  Stop Cafeteria Marta is known for their Churros they look light and fluffy I was questioning my decision this morning to get out of bed once we hit the cold  okay this is worth walking in the 40° very good you know what you should do you  should dip this in your cappuccino it be so good so that was
refreshing and very delicious those churros were amazing some of the best I've had now we have a 15-minute  walk in the 40° temperatures to the train station so we just got back to Sevilla 24 hours  in Córdoba great trip really easy to get to that's what I love about European cities what I love about Spain hop on a train 45 minutes you're in a new walkable City it's  very easy to get around of course you can take Uber or taxi I feel like we jammed a  lot in in the 24 hours even though I wasn't f
eeling well we got to be a to go to the Roman  Bridge we got to go to the Alcazar but then we went over to the cathedral it was great to  be able to take 24 hours and see a new city and then be able to come back to Sevilla we  have a couple more days here but I do want to invite you to check out my other videos  if you like food if you like travel check out my other videos hope to see you around oh I  always forget this part make sure to subscribe
