fans! We will be going to Hokkaido, enjoy Snow Festival, and our trip
will be starting from Kamata due to the convenient and affordable local
bus to Haneda Airport. So stay tuned! Hi, good morning! We are flying
to Hokkaido now. Here in Haneda, inside airport, it's very hot. But
let's see how cold it is there. Bipolar reaction? Maybe. We have just arrived Hokkaid,
Sapporo, Chitose Airport. We're heading to baggage claim. We just missed our train due to
delay. We
have to exchange after getting the luggage. After a long wait, we are, I mean, we got our
luggage. Now, we are heading to JR station. I feel chilly wind. It's Hokkaido
specific wind. Very very chilly. Our train came. Our train started, and we are heading
to Sapporo. So, see you in Sapporo! We will be taking this Tōhō Line. This is our hotel, Granbell Hotel. After settling down at the hotel, we went
out to the cake shop which we saw on TV as one of the best apple pie places. Ten
m
inutes walk from Hiragishi Station. It was hard to walk on the snow as we had not
got used to it yet but finally we were there. Unfortunately apple pies were sold out, so we took away some other sweets. We'll
definitely come back here in our next trip. It's snowing but very subtle snow. We were supposed to go to Picante
today but Thursday they are off as per the Google information. So we are
going to another soup curry restaurant. This is soup curry place also,
we found it on TV. We were lu
cky both the cake shop and this soup curry
place were in the same Hiragishi area. Very thick! Very very very think! Very very thick! Very creamy. It's not that spicy, a
little bit spicy but not that spicy. Which spice level you choose? Two. Pork stew. Very soft. Very tender. Zangi, Hokkaido karaage chicken. Very crispy, very flavourful. The rice and I also picked up one bean. When I chew beans, texture
is different, so it's nice. What's this? Burdock root? This is chicken. A kind of mushroom.
Eggplant. We'll be going to Hōsui Susukino. This is Tōhō Line, no direct
connection to Susukino Station but Hōsui Susukino Station is just
one block away from Susukino Station. Finally, our purpose of this trip,
Sapporo Snow Festival. It has multiple venues and this Susukino Venue, we
can enjoy various ice sculptures. How was it? Cold! Thank you for watching! This is the first
day in Hokkaido in winter. And tomorrow, we will be visiting the main venue,
Ōdōri Venue, that has not ice sculpt
ures, that has statues made of snow.
