well welcome back the Oregon International Auto Show is back at the Oregon Convention Center and this is its get this 104th year yeah been a lot yeah been around a while it opens later this morning and as you just heard from Blair it's got a new name too so the Oregon International Auto Show previously it was Portland International Auto Show Devin H Haskins is live at the convention checking everything out Devon you are now in a car last time we saw you you were in a hammock you're just all over

the place I'm getting around here yeah we're inside uh one of Nissan's newest cars uh here the ARA we're going to talk about that in just a second but first I want to get to some details about the Oregon International Auto Show we're going to put that uh that graphic up there on your screen you can see the dates and times it starts today at 10:00 runs through Sunday there's the uh the website there that you can go to for more information and get those tickets to the auto show all right so back

out here we are in the Nissan section of this this is one of their newest Vehicles I'm going to step out here I'm going to bring in Angela Fong you are a product specialist with Nissan one of the many dealers and uh Brands here at this uh at this auto show this one we're going to start with with this one this is one of your all electric vehicles yeah that's right this is our 2024 Nissan Arya so it's an all electric crossover it's just it checks a lot of boxes for what people are looking for if y

ou're looking for a crossover all electric no gas at all zero emission it comes with an all-wheel drive option which is great for the Portland a area um but just all the latest technology up to 304 m per charge depending on the trim level this is kind of in addition to the leaf that you guys have already uh introduced that's but but a bigger version more SUV version of it all right so let's go from all electric y Eric we're going to walk back here because we got a we got a little bit of a a coup

le steps to go we're going to go from as you said and I'll let you say it from everything from A to Z all right so we're going to go to the Z now this is your sports car that's right this is the seventh generation of our sports car um so this just came out with this brand new body style brand new engine it's a 4 L V6 twin turbo 400 horsepower it even has a six-speed manual transmission or a 9-speed automatic so if you're a true sports car fan this is it's pretty awesome and it starts around 40,0

00 so I mean everything here is you come to an auto show you would think like oh okay these are going to be like $100,000 cars that's not the case I mean there's there's everything from you got the low end you got the very very highend I was a Nissan Sentra Nissan Versa owner so this is this is great you know I'd love to have something like this too Versa Sentra one of our favorites and actually in our top five sellers because it it's just so economical but if you're looking for a sports car two

s changed a lot over the years and it's now more of a dealer participation program than a manufacturer participation and we have dealers from all over the state that are bringing Vehicles into the show so we thought let's represent the full state of Oregon not just Portland it's it's all of and then you mentioned there or the website says there's a new theme this year so there is an increased interest in electric vehicles and and so our theme is charge into tomorrow talking about charging but al

so talking about just you know coming here and uh checking out the show what are some things for families to come do so we really work hard to make this a full family event whether you're a little kid who gets in Free by the way I might say under under nine right under nine gets in free and then so we've got a kid Zone that they can go on a jumpy slide and video games and all kinds of fun stuff but outside of that we've got simulators that you can get in and drive you've got Ride Along and ride
