I got the code for the game from Cenega Polska, but it is not a gratification for this movie. All the opinions in this review belong exclusively to me. 88 hours. That's how much it took me to finish the latest edition of Final Fantasy VII under the title Rebirth. It is almost impossible to put everything I would like to tell you about this game in this review. Square Enix has prepared a title that is probably the largest game ever created. Not in terms of the map, but the mechanics of tasks and
ideas. It is a Japanese school of creating games in the top form. And yes, there are some scratches here. But in terms of the good that the game presents, they seem to be completely irrelevant and insignificant. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is basically a non-competitive title for the Rock game. It is not only the best game, but also the longest I have played and will probably play in 2024. But don't worry, the pluses didn't cover the minuses, there will be about them as well. Hi, my name is Krzysz
tof NRGeek Micielski and this is a review of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, PlayStation 5 version. Enjoy. Rebirth is the second epic part of the seventh part. Immediately at the beginning, I will add that it is worth playing the remake or Intergrade, because the game continues the threads, it is like the second chapter. Square, in my opinion, correctly divided the game into, let's say, chapters, because if everything were to look like Rebirth, we would probably wait a few more good years for the pre
miere of the remake. This is how we get an epic story every now and then, which basically shames all games. The amount of work that was put into Rebirth is absurd and there is nothing to hide, although it is March, you will not play anything better this year. There is no chance for that. As I mentioned, the story continues. I don't really know if I should say something about the story, because it will probably be a spoiler for those who didn't play the first episode, so maybe yes, Cloud and the
team are still following Sephiroth and Black Matter. Fate throws them through several worlds, and on their way there are a lot of adventures of powerful opponents and allies waiting for them. We will also return to events from the past, we will get to know the history of Zack better and in total all the characters from our team. Yes, the story, although it is based on what we know from the classic 7, develops almost every thread, a lot has been added to make it stick better with Intergrade. Neve
rtheless, the plot is shiny and I watched almost every cutscene with interest, because the game, despite the fact that it is extremely long, does not get bored for a while. Although there were elements that were boring, but this is rather based on my subjective opinion, which I will share with you in the later part of this review. Rebirth is an RPG with an open world. Forget about the corridor locations known from the previous episode. Here we quickly get to Grassland, a huge map with many side
quests. The game offers several such huge maps. Each of them is different and offers different aesthetic experiences, other opponents, dozens of dungeons and discoveries. Playing with a smile, I remembered the classic Final, where, for example, Grassland was just one almost flat location with one repetitive texture, on which small, simple 3D buildings grew every now and then. It is surprising how the past of the game is. Here the locations are pleasing to the eye, they made sure that these maps
were not copy and paste. Almost every square meter is a lot of detail, and the range of vision is impressive. However, the city is already a miracle of honey. The town of Kalm from the classic Final was a poor, dead hole. Now it's a town with its own architecture, beautiful interiors and a lot of people busy with their own business. Well, it makes an impression and it's huge. The fighting system hasn't changed from Intergrade. We have two modes to choose from. Unfortunately, I don't remember if
it was the same in the previous version. We can make a Samograja from the game, where our team attacks alone and we give orders. However, there is no problem to grab the pad and play on this mode with our buddy. However, as we are just playing with the hub with potatoes, our team will fight for us. Or the mode completely given under our control. In fact, both modes have small differences, because in the auto mode we can still direct the characters, throw spells, switch, everything is the same as
in the second mode. The only difference is that when we put the pad back, the characters will not stand like circles, but they will take the matter into their own hands. Again, almost every type of opponents is subject to a different magic, our main goal is to throw a stagger, after which the opponent lies like a manel under a frog, and we hit him as much as the factory gave until the stagger strip goes down. But in order to do this, you need to know the weak sides of the opponents. Some are su
bject to fire, others to fire, and others to a perfect counter. If we manage to use the weakness, we then throw a pressure strip, which allows you to quickly beat the stagger strip. The system is great, because with powerful opponents we have to get to know their weaknesses and use them, otherwise the type will quickly wipe the floor with our warriors. ATB stripes have also returned, after filling them we can make a special blow or use a spell or item. This also introduces a nice tactical flavor
, whether it is better to heal or throw a strong blow that will activate the pressure mode. The fight is, however, in real time, but when we choose our action, an active pause starts, so we can calmly think about each of our next moves. However, we can still assign a given action to the combination of buttons so as not to open the windows all the time, but to fight smoothly without pauses. Nice thing. The game also does not premium any mode. Do you want to fight with magic? No problem. Do you pu
t force solutions like me? Here you go. It makes you play as you want and as you like. Zero pressure. Although Square cleverly took care of us trying a different approach to the fight, but that's in a moment. The fights are not boring, they give a lot of satisfaction. As you can see, how powerful slashes take a huge part of the opponent's energy bar, or a stagger turns on, which allows you to fire a blow to which you whistled the ATB bars to use it right now, well, the heart then rejoices. Of co
urse, we also have defensive spells, defensive and so-called Limit Breaks, i.e. super powerful blows that charge when we get hit hard. The fighting system is gold, you get it quickly and you can appreciate its flexibility and versatility equally quickly. However, in order to use a given spell, we must have the right material. These are special balls that we put into a sword or armor. Each such ball is a different spell or a different passive perk. One bullet gives us more HP, the other will cast
a wind spell, another fire and so on. The system is clever because each weapon has a certain number of slots, so you won't have access to everything. That's why it's worth choosing the right team and giving them the right spells so that they don't duplicate each other. The Materia system is one of the best systems in RPG games. It requires a little attention, but when we get the basics, we will quickly build our dream team. The fights take place in the mode of our three-person team versus the r
est. The rest of the team is off from the fight. Therefore, it is worth remembering that if we have three throwers in the fight in a row, then there may be a problem with the flying opponent. You could write a book about the fighting system itself, because there are a lot of nuances and ideas here. For example, the fact that in some weapons the materials can merge into pairs, which can give us an exceptionally powerful charm of a given element. And there are also Samons, well known in the previo
us part, as well as from the classic Final 7. The Samons, of course, are again strongly toned. They appear as a character controlled by the console, to which we can issue an order after hitting the ATB bar. The Samon fights with us for some time, and when his time is up, he hits the good night with a powerful blow decorated with a nice animation. I like what they did with them. In the classic VII, they may have made an impression more epic, but I prefer toned ones. However, it should be remember
ed that these Samons do not have a start, but thanks to this they fit more into the whole. A few words of criticism of the fighting system. I mean mainly how the console controls characters who act autonomously. Well, it turned out badly. Let's not count that the console will heal us or resurrect us. You have to give the right command on your own, because generally controlled by the PlayStation 5 warriors, they fight like melepets, slowly filling the ATB belt. It's a pity that they didn't try th
e Gambit system known from Final 12, where it was possible to determine how certain characters behave depending on the situation. Yes, let's be honest, you have to count mainly on the character we lead ourselves. The others, when we give them the order, will do what they need, but they have the fate of the team, their own and they fight like a gang of beasts. Let's go back to the characters for a moment. I mentioned that everyone has different skills. Barret shoots from his gun at a distance, so
it's good to keep him in the background. Of course, at any time we can switch to another member of the team and fight him. Each of the characters also has a special, unique skill for a given character, but also for a given type of weapon. It is worth dedicating a moment to choose our team and their orange appropriately to have a team that will drive the opponents apart like in a fight. As for the fights themselves, there are definitely fewer of them than in the classic seventh. Of course, we wi
ll find opponents on the map, but it is not that there are two steps every time. It can be said that the opponents are even quite sporadic, so the duel does not irritate as in the classic, where the battle screen turned on every two meters. Now you can choose the time, when you want and whether you want to fight some patafians on your way. I mentioned that the maps are huge. Here, vehicles and chocobosses come with help, on which we will cross beautiful locations on the ridge. Interestingly, eac
h region has its own designated chocobosses. Some can enter the walls, others can slide, others can rise above the water. This allowed us to create places that require us to combine how to get where we want. Of course, he also returned the bugs on one map and the floating bronco, and with it a large sea of aqua, on which we will look for the treasure of pirates, but I will come back to side quests. However, you don't have to rush everywhere and sometimes it's not possible, because some places
are only available for the Chocobos from a given region. There are also side quests or challenges associated with it. The exploration of the map itself is extremely pleasant, because next to the tasks and challenges marked on the map, there are also various surprises and treats. In addition, the maps look fantastic, especially when we look from some huge heights and you can see the opponents somewhere at the bottom. Yes, the range of vision is really impressive here. In the game we have a fairly
developed system of collecting raw materials, because thanks to a special device called a transmuter, we will be able to create not only healing drinks, but also parts of weapons on our own. Of course, for these best items we will need raw materials that are one of the most powerful opponents. As with every RPG game, we have some indicators that determine our character. By hitting the level, the game automatically hits us with the appropriate statistics. What we have an impact on is their next
hit by orange and armor. However, something like the level of the entire team was thrown in. This one hits very slowly, but each next one unlocks the next tree of pears for us. And what's interesting, the trees are surprisingly poor. Apart from the typical perks such as increase HP or strengthen attack, we have something called synergy and it is a novelty. Well, we can block combined attacks. There are a lot of them and they are in all configurations. These are strong attacks that we can perform
after filling the appropriate indicator. Then, too, the given two characters attack the opponent and it is decorated with the appropriate animation. The higher the level of the team, the more such techniques we unlock. Nevertheless, the synergy system is a thing that I used quite rarely, and if already, it is only with exceptionally bad bosses. Okay, because the review is too sweet, a few bitter notes. I mentioned that there are gossips in the game. Yes, the title is so structured that the team
is very often divided and we can't always play who we like, but it basically always happens during the plot tasks and this is not a problem, although if we packed in our Dream Team, and the rest of the team we left to fate, suddenly it turns out that they are not properly equipped for the fight. You can change it, of course, so it's not a problem. What irritated me more was that the game sometimes forces us to play a given and one character. There is an episode when we have to play the worst ch
aracter in the entire Final Fantasy, Kate Sifem, or Cat Sifem, as I call him. Although the fighting system may be quite interesting, in my opinion it is an extremely bad character that fits the whole game like a nail in the head. And unfortunately, the game forces us to play Cat Sifem and that's it. The second problem is the ending of the game. After beaten open maps, a terribly long and boring corridor mission awaits us, which stretches and stretches and the end is not visible. It turned out ve
ry badly, I had the impression that at this point the game was taking a step back, but as I understand it, it was rather impossible to handle it otherwise, although I had the impression that this level was made quickly and only to extend the game, but I may be wrong here. Okay, now there will be a ride. Next to the main tasks, we have side tasks. It is a game that has the most unique mechanics from all the games in the world, I'm not kidding. The way it was prepared is a pattern for all open-wor
ld games. Not only are there not many tasks from a given genre, but many of them also introduce completely new mechanics. But I have to tell you this on an example. There is a task where some shorted chick escaped the hen from the henhouse and you have to find them. Think about how it would be done in another game. Here we have some kind of tattered container that we throw and we have to pull it so that the hen would follow it. However, the hen may lose interest or start charging on the box, whi
ch causes it to leave later and we have to start over. This is one, literally one such task in the whole game. Almost every side task has some idea. Another time we have to, for example, find mushrooms in the location. You will think, nothing special. Well, no. We have another unique minigame here, where we have to tilt the mushroom in the right direction to break it and not damage it. We will also do it only once, but it is only the tip of the iceberg and it is the one that has flooded the Tita
nic. Square knows perfectly well what can be boring and does not overwhelm us with the same activities. For example, taking pictures in the location. Each huge map has only one such task. You click one photo and that's it. Or a fight with the most powerful opponents from a given region. We have four of them on each map, each other, and defeating four of them unlocks the last bad guy. Okay, sometimes not bad, because Tom Berry is hard to call a bad guy. Almost every task carries some goal and eff
ect with it. We don't do it just to do it, but to get something. For example, on each map we can collect proto-reliance parts that unblock access to the strongest summoner. And on each map we have different mini-games related to it. What do you say about something like Tower Defense with characters from the classic Final 7? The games themselves are so expanded that they could be autonomous titles. Another time we will program robots that will fight King Flan. Again, here the complication of thes
e games is unusual and you can get lost in it for a long time. Because each of them is a well-thought-out gameplay and mechanics. These are not simple elements to be solved in a few minutes. you can really get into it for a very long time. Another task is, for example, catching moogles that try to get us off the board. Each map has only one such challenge. Why? So that it doesn't get boring. We have something like a single game in Rocket League, where the 13th tries to shoot balls to the appropr
iate gates. There is a classic shooting range, where we shoot at the pirates. There is a minigame in Frogs, where we try to stay on the platform for as long as possible, avoiding the falling floors and drongs that want to hit us. We have swimming on a dolphin, which resembles Wave Race from Nintendo 64. The more balls we hit, the faster we swim. There is making stomachs, where you have to repeat a given sequence non-stop. The box has returned to time, where everyone gives some amount of points a
nd valuable seconds. There will be no Quick Time Events, where we will carry out a muster, before recruiting the right soldiers and setting their formations. There is playing on the piano of known melodies from Final. Right here it was one of the most difficult activities for me, but interestingly enough, we can also try to play something for ourselves. And now attention, all these wonders are available not rarely only on one map, in one place. But that's not all, because the game offers somethi
ng like Gold Saucer, which is a kind of amusement park, where we will get more unique minigames. driving on a motorbike, VR and destroying opponents, boxing in a simple game where you have to react to the opponent's movements, we will also find a space shooter with aiming at other ships, and of course the Chocobos races, which are so cool that you can waste hours there on battles and picking the right chickens to win. This is not all, as I mentioned, many of the tasks offer some unique interacti
on within only one quest, so there is no point in discussing everything here. But the cherry on the cake is a card that I will devote to a separate chapter. Generally, I hate cards. I don't know, it rejects me from them, regardless of whether they are physical or digital. I approached the card from Rebirth like a dog to a hedgehog, initially not understanding what it was all about. My exceptional reluctance turned into fascination, collecting cards and the appropriate deck to sweep the floor wit
h the greatest card makers in the card world. The system is excellently thought out, there is no place or time to discuss it here, but if you appreciate what Square has prepared, you can get there for a long time. Each map has its own players on higher and higher levels, and the game is extremely pleasant, and the cards themselves look amazing. As if they were in the physical version, I would buy it without blinking an eye. Nevertheless, the card is great, and the stronger the opponent, the more
we have to combine with the deck and our skills to win. Although I admit that I quickly discovered a certain principle that allowed me to win almost all the matches to the sixth level almost from the start. And now, as I mentioned, each series of tasks gives us some effect. It will bring us closer to a new summoner, give us a new weapon or something else. I had no impression that I was doing something to do. There has always been some moderate reward or part of the reward with a promise to get
something bigger. From side quests, what I didn't like was the fights in VR. Boring and repetitive, but this is the only way to transfer the captured summon into the material, because before we get the best summons, we have to complete the winning fight in VR with it. To get a given salmon, we have to find 4 grottoes on each map and enter the sequence of buttons based on our memory. And if we improve all the salmons and collect all the proto-relias, the most powerful of all salmons with a comple
tely new location awaits us. As you can see, everything leads to something and has its purpose. This is one of the huge advantages of Rebirth. The decoration is great, but there is a small flaw here. The game offers two modes, traditionally quality and efficiency. In terms of quality, it looks great, but it only offers 30 frames per second. With ultra-fast fights, where we have dozens of particles, flashes, this mode is not suitable at all. Performance mode offers 60 frames, but the game is very
blurry and I mean VERY blurry. I haven't seen something like this for a long time. It looks bad, but there is no other choice than to play on this mode. I suspect that Square has reached the limit of the possibilities of PlayStation 5 and all these wonders are too much on the Sony console. Here and there, textures in very low resolution will also occur, but this is not yet such a problem as this unfortunate resolution in the performance mode. If we compare the images from the modes, the perform
ance looks like 720p or lower. This is the price for fluidity. It makes me wonder that the game still uses screen space reflection. That's why I'll give you a pro tip, if you can't decide which mode to play, try to play quality mode at the beginning, because on the other hand, the return will be basically impossible. I finished the whole game in performance mode and on a big TV, when you sit close, it's weak. But I have to praise the cutscenes. What Square has managed to achieve is damn close to
the quality of CG films. The game still uses pre-rendered cutscenes, but very rarely and only in the case when the scene was too complicated to show it in real time. But! But look at the details on the cutscenes counted in real time, for example, notice that the character moves his tongue or sing. Look at the micro-mimic lips movements. This is something that has not been in games so far. Rebirth cutscenes are the highest class. A long time ago, with Final Fantasy 8, Square in CG cutscenes outp
erformed the competition for light years. Now he did it again, but with cutscenes on the engine. Maybe he didn't outperform the light years, but he certainly outperformed. I'm afraid to think about what the game would look like on the PS5 Pro, because here the Final clearly shows that it's time for a new, stronger version of the console on which the game will shine. However, looking at all that the game offers, the problem with the quality of the image is pale and it is not such a big problem, a
t least for me. However, people who play games for nice graphics have to get tired in 30 frames per second, which I do not recommend at such a fast game. Aha, I will also add that it is a game in which all women are beautiful and richly equipped. As for the guys, it is probably similar, but I don't know, I don't know much about it here. The game, unfortunately, does not have a translation. It is not so necessary, because it does not accuse us of dialogues, however, the knowledge of English will
be useful to better understand, for example, the rules of the card game or other minigames. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a game that shows that the Japanese game creation school is again at the peak of power. A game that surprises us with a gigantic amount of mechanics, often one-time, which can not get bored even after 80 hours of playing, thanks to the continuous introduction of new elements. It is also a title that shows what open-world games should look like, without oversharing the numbers,
and a properly priced and varied gameplay. Yes, for many, the technical issue will be a problem. Rebirth looks beautiful in quality mode, but in my opinion this mode is mainly suitable for watching cutscenes, because playing it does not make much sense. If you were wondering why Final 16 didn't look as shiny as it should, then here's the answer, the whole team went to Rebirth and you can feel it at every step. I will not be surprised if the game will win many awards, because it actually deserve
s it and without a doubt it will be the best game in 2024. Play Rebirth in Final 7, because such games rarely come out. For me, the Japanese after Like A Dragon once again swept the American competition, showing that they know each other on the games like no one else. Rebirth is one of the coolest computer adventures I've ever experienced. That's why I can say with a clear conscience I recommend it. If you liked the video, I encourage you to subscribe...

Cala moc przerobowa PS5 poszla w klate Tify.

@term0s

@StaryDziadzio

@Lariv_

PS. Queen's Blood to jedna z najlepszych "gier w grze" od czasu gwinta.

@Kar0lina_Gra

@veselar

@Giverion

@arthurmorgan-zq3kv

bardzo zachęcająca jest ta miniaturka.

@buttercup9884

Normalnie 50-tka sie zbliza a ja znowu mam nascie lat.

@hrupek2100

Uwielbiam twoje teksty

@David.M.R.

@maksioo93

@sakitta4926

@kyoji7482

@Cugowsky

Obejrzę jak skończę. Dopiero gold saucer a ponad 40h na liczniku.

@sinister8599

@arczer7505

NRGeek zapomniales wspomniec o swietnym soundtrucku.

@hunkym2025

W końcu 😊

@SobieGadam

:) mistrz miniaturek ! Kłaniam się nisko! :)

@bartosh2662
