Most people don't get up thinking
about the culture wars. You know, just
like Andy said, they get up thinking about a better job. Are my kids going to have
enough food on the table? We got a roof over our heads. Are they going to get a better
education so that they can live better than I'm living? And that's what we concentrate
on at the state level. And I would suggest that's what
they ought to be concentrating on at the national
level is forgetting all of this politics of
hatred and nastiness
and fear and get
together with each other and figure out common sense-wise
how you make things happen, compromise, and move the
country and our state forward. That's the way Andy's governed. That's the way I governed. That's the way you
governed in Massachusetts. And it's successful
because it's right. That's what people
expect out of us. [MUSIC PLAYING]
