Hi everybody Welcome to Garasi Drift today we will review a GTR which is cool beyond reason which is the Nissan GTR Nismo GT3 so this is a Nissan GTR which is built exactly the same as the car in the Grand Turismo movie and also in the Grand Turismo game so surely you are very familiar with the bodywork design and color but it's not just the appearance the outside and inside of this car have been completely modified to match the cars used in GT3 racing and in the movie too let's just take a look
at the bodywork at the front first this bumper has a really optimized function from these holes, everything has a purpose like the hole on the side here, this hole is for airflow to enter to cool the brakes on the inside so there is ducting on the inside to cool the front brake then from this hole in the middle for the intercooler and also for the oil cooler so there is an oil cooler on the inside later we will see all the engine bay parts when we open the hood then at the front here, there is
a very strong splitter I don't have the heart to press it but actually being stepped on is strong because the function of the splitter is to direct the wind from the front where it hits the bumper so that it can press the splitter in front here as hard as possible so this splitter must be very strong and of course, this splitter generates quite a large downforce there's a tow hook here then what I like is the nets and this car is really used for racing so there are a few battle scars so it's rea
lly cool in my opinion and all of these parts are carbon if you look at it, all the parts are really carbon and down to the details inside the ducting has contours that have really been calculated so it can get the flow to be optimal but without any drag that hinders the speed of this car then in this section usually, on GTRs there are holes but on this car, there aren't any here immediately there is an extraordinarily large canard the size of the canard is almost the same as my hand this is a r
eally big canard and this canard is also very functional there are two canards here made from carbon fiber too very cool and the headlights these headlights are very different from the original GTR headlights because these headlights are actually carbon the inside is carbon and attached with plastic using molded polycarbonate so it looks like a GTR R35 headlight but it's definitely much lighter because endurance racing like that doesn't require any kind of headlights maybe you just need high bea
ms and turn signals turn signals are also for hazards, usually if there is a problem or something for the hood the engine hood has ducting that is large enough to release hot air from the radiator this part here has a really big radiator inside the hot air all comes out this way so the wind coming in from the front is expelled through here so there's no turbulence in the engine bay because there is an engine in the engine bay, of course, so if there is turbulence there, the airflow will definite
ly not be optimal and at the front where there are lots more ducting this ducting is used to cool the very large oil cooler that is below here We'll see later and in this part, there is the Naca duct the function of the Naca duct is a scoop to get air into a place but without any drag at all or very low drag so it can definitely be very aerodynamic and let's discuss the fenders the fenders are much wider than the original GTR fenders and this part is carbon fiber but if we look from the inside,
there is another inner fender made of Kevlar so there is a carbon fiber part and there is a Kevlar part and this fender also has quite a lot of ducting here this ducting is to eliminate the drag behind the rear wheel because behind the rear wheel, there is usually quite severe turbulence so the turbulence can come out of here but what I think is really interesting is this hole this is the hole for the air jack so we put the compressor in here then we turn on the compressor the car will automatic
ally rise because inside here there are four air jack points to make the pit stop really fast but unfortunately, I can't demonstrate it in the garage because there isn't a compressor that's that strong so we can use this air jack and if we look at the wheels honestly, the rims and tires that make the whole car so sexy are the combination of these rims and tires why? because the diameter is really big the wheels are single-lug Rays Nismo so it's really fast to change wheels when we're on a endura
nce racing the size of these wheels is 18 inches with a very thick tire profile these tires are Michelin Pilot Sport the wheels are getting really fat because this tire is really wide it makes it meaty but the performance is still really maintained because this tire is fully slick and if we look at the wheel, the detail is that there are concave parts in each spoke which are not really visible in the video but if we look directly at it, it can be seen that these are really performance wheels, an
d making them is really complicated so the price is definitely very expensive too and if we look behind it there is a Brembo big brake kit what's unique is that there is a sticker for temperature so the mechanic can know what temperature the brakes are because we can see it on this sticker for example, in the heat, the only thing that lights up is this point, and so on in fact, this entire modification was made for endurance racing now let's look at the side skirts as for the side skirts, on the
front here there are fins like this then in the middle, there is a hole which, if we look inside, has something like tubing in it the tube is the exhaust that comes out on the side here and I think the side skirt with the exhaust is really sexy looks like after this I will install a side exit exhaust like this on my Liberty Walk S15 this is really cool and the material of the side skirts is carbon fiber the carbon fiber that looks like resin is really very thin so it does look a little rough bu
t it's really thin really light but definitely strong behind this, there is another fin then there is the Motul sticker above it, there is more ducting I don't know what the ducting is for maybe for cooling the brakes on the rear but there's something special above it this is a refueling hole quick fuel this part can be pressed using the tool directly, so it's like in NASCAR cars if you often look at it to fill up with fuel because in endurance racing you can definitely fill up on fuel many time
s in one race and uniquely, this hole is on the left and there is one on the right even though the hole over there is closed but because not all pit stops are on the left or right so there are both like this Well, the rear wheels are exactly the same as the front ones the rims and tires are also the same and the rear has slightly smaller brakes than the front and it looks like it still has the original GTR brakes for the rear but this GTR is rear-wheel drive, not all-wheel drive anymore because
I don't know the main purpose of removing the four-wheel drive but it seems that for long runs and lap times, it would be better if rear-wheel drive was superior to all-wheel drive therefore, this GTR is made with rear-wheel drive only if we look behind here there is a wing that is super duper big and wide and if you look, at the end of the wing there is a little something strange there's a sharp edge that looks like it's going to add drag here but no, I've learned what its function is this tip
is slightly bent upwards this is the same as if we used a much bigger wing because there is a flow of air that reaches behind here so we use a bigger wing, but with drag, we only use this much wing so the downforce is greater without adding significant drag so it's unique the wing has a part like this Well, as for the diffuser, it's not as exciting as the time attack car but this diffuser is really functional because the diffuser goes really deep, it covers it it's all carbon if you look and the
re are fins here too what I like is the side the side has a shape that looks like it was formed very aerodynamically so it's not square, but it has a really cool rounded shape on the side here and there are holes in the back here too because there is some cooling inside, starting from the axle cooling and there is also a condenser for cooling the AC freon because this car has air conditioning so because endurance racing is long-distance, it seems like racers need to cool down and if you look her
e there are rain lights this has a reverse camera installed to make parking easier because this is a really wide car much wider than the original GTR because this car was 210cm wide when I measured it and it's really wide and if you look, for weight reduction, this car only uses the Nissan emblem from a sticker so the emblem is not installed, only a sticker is installed this is what the rear trunk looks like there is an AC condenser here then there is an air duct that uses carbon too so this is
really cool there is an air duct for cooling the differential cooler section here to cool the AC condenser and in this part, this is the air that enters the AC evaporator to enter the scoops again it's not AC like a normal car at the front but the AC flows to the car seats so the car seat already has ducting to cool the back and later we will try the AC inside Well, if the AC condenser is in the trunk like this where is the compressor? it's impossible in front because of the distance the answer

ints in the interior that can come out downwards so the car can go up very cool now let's discuss the next part here Well, in this section there are all the controls starting from ignition there is a starter fuel pump and there are so many buttons that we can adjust the traction control map too if we want to set how big the traction control is We can also adjust the ABS according to needs and the engine map can also be adjusted so maybe the track that requires more power can have the engine map
adjusted or this engine map can save fuel so you can reduce pit stops so the entire endurance race can be faster and here there is a brake balance button to adjust the brake balance and here there are AC and blower buttons that we will try this is a really cool button the cut-off usually goes around in circles but it's not like that in this car, just press it once Well, the reverse lights immediately turned on just turn on the AC and my back immediately felt cold because this is actually an orig
inal AC system that has been modified and given ducting like this there is a lot of ducting and flows down our back and down here so my crotch area also feels cool and I'm really jealous because I really want to have a racing car with air conditioning like this later I have to make something like this too and in this section, there is a MoTec display that shows RPM and so on there is also a lap time that can be seen here and this entire ECU uses MoTec and PDM too PDM and other parts are at the b
ottom here then what's more interesting is that here it uses an air shifter or pneumatic shifting so this shifter system is the same as the car I used in Abu Dhabi during Formula 4 so you can change gears really quickly so this electronics commands the solenoid to open the air from the compressor so there is a compressor like an air suspension behind, there is a tube too, that is for mechanically changing the gear itself so it can be really fast really instant and the gear changes immediately th
en on the steering wheel, it's like a racing car in general, there are lots of buttons there's a flash there are left and right turn signals then there is the pit the pit button seems to be for the limiter so the speed is adjusted when we press the pit lane when we press this button so it becomes a limiter here it is at Grand Turismo then there is a drink button because you're definitely thirsty so there is a button to press drink which pumps the drink into the racer's helmet this is really like
playing Grand Turismo and there is also a fire and safety system so if there is a fire, this part controls it and automatically sprays it at several points for example, if there is a fire in the engine, this tool will immediately spray the engine parts using an extinguisher so we really don't need to endanger ourselves by taking an extinguisher to spray the fire ourselves so racers can just run away from the fire and this whole cluster and dashboard are carbon material the top is covered with a
material I've never seen before it feels like it's not Alcantara, but it's not suede but really cool it's a soft material but it's definitely not dazzling because sunlight sometimes often reflects on the carbon because carbon is glossy and this part is made like this so that it doesn't glare into our eyes and the carbon parts don't stop there at the back here, there is a section for fuel fuel refill then inside here too, underneath there is a fuel tank and so on and for maintenance of our fuel
tank from up here and here are all the covers, they also use carbon in my opinion, this makes it really look like a car in Grand Turismo if you play Grand Turismo from inside, you can see the view like this and roll bars let's discuss the really cool roll bar because this is a roll bar from Nismo and the welds are neat the gussets are very neat if you can see this and the design is also good so if we sit here, the rollbar almost doesn't block the pillars at all so it really makes it really drive
r-oriented so our view remains as in a normal car without a rollbar except for this part but you can still see the rearview mirror everything can still be seen maybe it's just the back that's hard to see now is the time for us to try starting the engine I'm curious about the sound of the exhaust on the side but we have to wait for the temperature to be optimal first then we can rev wait a moment now the temperature is optimal let's try rev the side exit sound is really cool now it's time for us
to see what the engine is like Well, this is a very light engine hood because it's carbon and you can see this ducting from the Naca duct, from the front there is a path to enter here and if we look here there is another duct section to enter the interior Lal, please bring the hood Bilal can just bring the engine hood alone and there is a VR38DETT engine but this is a Nismo type GT3 0015 so this is really a pretty special engine in the GTR although there is some dirt because the car is used, it
is a bit dirty, and there are battle scars but this is really an engine made by Nismo for GT3 racing so it's definitely really powerful and reliable because this race is very far away, thousands of kilometers and if you look here there is a super duper big oil cooler I've never seen an oil cooler this big so long and the airflow is directed from the front scoop here and then up to the grille on the hood so all the hot air from the radiator, oil cooler, and intercooler doesn't become turbulent in
the engine bay and what's unique is that here we can still see the original airbox there are two airboxes on the left and right even though people usually modify the airbox first but this airbox still uses the original part maybe there is one of the regulations in the race that this car follows where it must still use some original parts maybe and what's even more unique is the coilover section I've never seen a coilover that is ride height adjustable from up here so we can adjust the height of
this car, maybe without having to raise the car on jacks and then remove the wheels maybe it's enough to raise the air jack after turning it around here We can now raise and lower the height of the Coilover actually, it is really very important for use in racing cars maybe in a drift car also helps so it's easy to adjust We can set that from here it's very helpful when racing as for the wiring, to be honest, it's still like a stock GTR car this is still very OEM very OEM looking the cables and
hoses can still be said to have an OEM look so there aren't too many visual changes in the engine bay but this engine is really built for reliability very cool now it's time for us to just get this car onto the lift and we'll take the car We'll see what it looks like under it the car is already on the lift and now we can see what it's like under the car starting from this front splitter section this has a lot of battle scars, and scuffs down here, which means this car has really been used but th
ere are carbon parts that have a shape and this really helps for aerodynamics under the car so there is a ground effect and there is a cover that covers the engine it will be more flat flat floor but I think the flat floor will be all the way to the rear where we can't see inside like some other racing cars but this turns out not we can still see the complete chassis here and if I look at the interior and under the car there is a lot of heat wrap like this this is just taped but the duct tape is
definitely special and shaped according to the shape of the chassis because this car really modified how to make the cabin cool it must be really hot in here from the engine room how can the cabin be cool because there are so many heat wraps like this heat insulation like this and very futuristic like Formula 1 cars, I often see parts like this on the inside and if we look at the drive shaft, the rod shaft is made from carbon it's carbon fiber and what's unique about this GTR is that it doesn't
have a gearbox at the front here but the gearbox is at the rear so this is the GTR's gearbox the difference is that for example, the original one has a longer drive shaft at the front because of the all-wheel drive but because this car is rear-wheel drive so the drive shaft is just at the rear and if we look at this part it has also been changed, right? this is the sequential transmission therefore we can use the pedal shift then there is the fuel tank part which is made of carbon and has quite
a large capacity then if we look at the rear there is a diffuser which we saw above this part is carbon fiber and is really big all the way to the rear even under the axle the axle is covered We can't see the undercarriage because there is this diffuser and this is the shape as well, the details have been made there must be something stuck in a part so the contour is made like this very cool I learned a lot from this car because this is really a car that is used for racing, of course, there has
been a lot of development, whether for reliability or performance if we look behind the front splitter, there is a stabilizer which has a slightly different shape because this part here can be adjusted so according to the angle that can change the stiffness so without having to change the stabilizer, we can change the stiffness just by turning it like this it's really adjustable which is really nice for us to fine-tune on the track, of course Well, even though we can't see the entire undercarri
age there's only a little visible here this is an adjustable part to change camber a little and usually, we use Camber bolts which are rotated so that the lower arm becomes long and short if this part doesn't, this part uses a type of shims so we can remove the shims, it could be lower the lower arm or if it's not long enough, we add shims to make the lower arm longer that's what will change the alignment completely and I'm starting to see this part a lot on drift undercarriages like the new gen
