3 months ago, I suddenly decided to pack my bags and go on an adventure. Within a couple of weeks, I had quit my job, told a landlord I would no longer be needing their rental and booked a plane ticket to Costa Rica. I had no plans other than a one week stay at a hostel after my arrival - the rest of my time was an open book. Well, it has been (and is) such an incredible journey. I've met so many wonderful people and done some amazing things over these last 3 months. Memories for a lifetime. I have no plans to go back to London anytime soon. I am excited to see what lies ahead! This song reminds me that I am living one hell of a life :)

Hollow Coves has really helped me through the most difficult time of my life. Their music brings me so much peace and tranquility... I've taken the time over the last year to learn all of their songs. I know every word, but I struggle with the chords sometimes because of the different tunings! For many, this song gives the urge to travel far and wide and create a new life abroad. For me, however, it reminds me of how lucky I am to have so many beautiful places right on my doorstep. All I need to do is find the right one to create the perfect life. Sometimes, you just have to be a backyard adventurer, and appreciate what’s near before you start going far. I’ve never been abroad much, and I don’t really plan to. I just hope that where I’m going with my life now is the right way.

Living in the city now and I miss the open roads and long drives through the plains and mountains. I miss that cooling dip in the ocean after a long day of trekking and hiking.
