Transcriber: Grace John Reviewer: Walaa Mohammed You know that iPad? Yeah. That many, wizard. It can do almost anything. Make my homework disappear. My teacher, John Nyman, said some work on the classroom app. My mother has to give me the iPad for homework. However, as soon as she is out of sight, I smartly flip between the screens to play Minecraft and Roblox. These digital Hunger Games, coupled with the need to quickly come back to the classroom app, as I see my mother coming near me just make
s it more fun. However, the sad part is that it does not make my Hindi homework disappear. Hey, Siri, Who am I? Your minute. But since we are friends, I get to call you Albert Einstein. Yeah. Siri calls me advertising. Anyways. Hi. I am a student of Delhi public school, Sarath, Grade three. And today I got this amazing opportunity to share my views on how I perceive technology. For me, an eight year old boy. It's like navigating the tech savvy landscape. Oh, technology and kids are like peanut b
utter and jelly. Inseparable and sometimes a little sticky. Indeed, technology and its applications have made AI lives easier. For example, I could the confirmation formatted talk to an email from the organizers. My father tells me that in his childhood days, important communications such as these used to come through letters and emails. And I am like. Lame dad. No offense. Don’t get me started on my grandma. Whenever I explain technology to her, I feel like a tiny professor giving a lecture on
quantum mechanics and grandma is just nodding along, pretending to understand. But secretly I think she is clueless. And let’s not forget to talk about the constant battle between Wi-Fi and us. It is like a never ending war. We desperately need it for everything, but it has a mind of its own. It is like a mysterious ghost that disappears when we need. The most. But we have mastered the art of wi fi dance, where we spin in circles, raise a devices to the sky and pay for a stable connection. I pe
rceive technology as a friend to me. Technology and its applications are everywhere today. To me. The iPads and tablets offer numerous benefits and opportunities for learning creativity and entertainment. Technology also provides access to vast knowledge and educational resources. Making Learning more interactive and engaging. It allows us to explore our interest, develop and express our creativity to various digital platforms. We can also share our creations with others online. This self expres
sion can help us develop a stronger sense of identity. Visual design programs, coding programs, digital drawing courses, promote innovation for us. With technology, we can learn how to solve problems in new and innovative ways. We can also research on topics. This problem solving practice can help us become independent thinkers. It also helps us to think out of the box, which is an important skill in today's ever changing world. The Apple pencil helps us in illustration and drawing. My sister Ah
ana illustrated a book Oliver and the Family getaway with the help of the magical Apple Pencil. And a example from my life. I want to play chess, but if Dad is busy, I can switch to leeches where I play with opponents online. However, what. A hint about technology is the ever mysterious parental control software. This parental control option in my iPad is built to keep all kids like me away from the forbidden teachers of the Internet. And of course, we can't escape the allure of tech addiction.
We are all guilty. Our parents warned us, though. But we are becoming tech powered superheroes. My parents died using emojis, watching them decode those cute faces. Like a comedy show. I like aliens trying to speak emoji language and the struggle of explaining memes to my grandparents. For my grandma. L.O.L stands for lots of love rather than laugh out loud. The kids today are all digital natives and we have embraced technology as a way of life. It is essential for us to use technology responsi
bly and with appropriate supervision to ensure our well-being. We should be aware of the right amount of screen as we consume. The growing concept of cool viewing. When parents watch videos with children to promote healthy habits and therefore use a screen for productivity. I am confident that using these technological advancements will make the world a better place. Thank you.
