[Music] now I'd like to confess you know it was for me
it was so important to listen to Richard and Mickey especially because you know I'll give you
some disclosure I just joined neurotek about a year and a half ago okay and neurotek was focused only
on ADHD in the clinical domain so it required a lot of courage a lot of leadership
and Imagination to take it out from there actually I'm trying every day to make sure that
we are not saying the ADHD word anymore in any of our literature becaus
e it is misleading okay
it's uh putting the, it's sometimes I think it's also giving us the easy way out oh he has
something so you know uh now we can treat that and that that's it but we already classified
him in a in a way and I can tell you that I've been coaching and mentoring so many CEOs over the
last decade and so many of them feel that they are damaged goods because someone told them at one
point in life that they are special needs ADHD whatever and suddenly they say oh we can actua
lly
do whatever we want as talents so I think that what I would like to do now is maybe skip this panel
conversation because we took too long and maybe open the conversation with you guys but before
I do this I just want to just to show you something not that I'm I'm very proud of what I'm
going to show you but also I also want to assure you that we are not speaking on the clinical
slides that You have seen from Cesar I mean you don't need to be able to read all those graphs
that's not this
is only for the clinical domain we have two modalities for the clinicians
and for the general population and the rest of the world so it's actually this is how it looks
like when you look at a profile of of a child on our system and it's giving you something
about is what is called information processing selective attention processing speed his task
performance and persistence and the posting speed stability social emotional metrics
like self regulation, response regulation and also very c
learly about what are the
auditory and visual impacts that are related to this profile and sometimes it is very
clear this is the kid that actually needs the ear plugs, you just see uh how poorly his selective
attention in the presence of auditory distractors it's I mean just buying a $1
set of ear plugs and voila you have a new kid and you know this one is say somewhere in
the middle like a regular kid but this one is the profile of someone that really really will make
a lot of benefit fr
om learning with music Etc so I just want to show you you know to un mystify
the the tool that we have it's not as very very difficult to understand graph but I'd like to hear
from you not just question but also what do you think about you know this intersection between
the knowing the cognitive and the attentive states of kids and the practice that you do,
do any questions remarks notes [Music]
