Hallo zusammen! Sometimes we tend to refer to people things or animals in a rather non-standard way in a very slang way so to speak and because that is because it's a normal part of each language so to speak also of the German language and because it's quite interesting and sometimes even hilarious let's learn about five weird terms for animals in German let's begin with beautiful animals that apparently also enjoy farting at people the standard German word for horse is despaired singular deep f
air blue higher as you might have noticed I verbalized it as fat which actually is correct but it's much more common to hear German say fat as if there is no initial P in front of F that's also typical for other German terms that begin with P F often Germans don't say fat but Gower de Gaulle Xingu la digue Euler blue high interestingly enough it can be meant both as a colloquial neutral synonym tube-fed or it can be meant more pejoratively meaning negative this might be the case when you're talk
ing to an untamed or very aggressive wild horse or maybe even an uneducated horse that's a student fee invadin Gower what kind of a boisterous horse have you got the second term is much more negatively connotated and it's almost exclusively used in that context the general German term for a dog is deer hunt singular daehan de pluie hi this works as both a general term and a noun referring to male dogs in particular and when you refer to a female dog you might as well say Dee hundun Xingu la dee
huntin and blue ha the female dog I personally do understand and feel with people also agree with people that are annoyed by ducks that poo all across the sidewalk in a public street for instance in a city and the dog's owner doesn't really care for that and they don't get rid of the Ducks poo of course the dog isn't the one to blame it's rather the dog owner but still a German that sees that might go or think the Hudson Vida in Kuta inguk act the pooch has put here once again it's Dakota singul
ar Dakota Plaza the pooch interestingly enough once more we don't have a particular feminine version of this it's always deer Kuta even if it's a female dog d hundun it's also commonly used for an uneducated aggressive and therefore dangerous dog the next term is by far the most versatile in this list we all know the situation you're sitting in front of your computer you watch or type something and a fly is harassing you yeah it's dfleege singular d fling Plaza the fly we might not refer to this
fly as D flag then but we might rather use the quite universal term fish does fish singular defeat a claw the critter it's not limited to flies it can be used for pretty much any animal does V is Ashna fish that critter is really annoying the slang term is not to be confused with does fee which has no plural form it means cattle which funny enough has no singular form this term is often used for so-called nut steel production animals honestly not one of my favorite German terms as it translates
to something like usable animals literally it's often used for cows in particular d qu singular DQ claw the cow number four is a very cute german term and it's not really a standard german slang term if that even exists but it's the term that relates to an animal that have already taken in this video before we're talking about horses once more sometimes young German children refer to horses as das ha - whoo zing gula d ha - who's blue ha the term itself is not a normal slang term though because
it's pretty much exclusively used by little children this creative colloquial term appears in some books with stories for small children for instance it might also be used for the shop Fiat xyngular dicho Kupfer de pluie ha the rocking horse Schama and uses hotter whoo look what a cute horsie last but not least I'd like to talk about a phrase and expression that is very common in Germany although I think it's not that appropriate all the time and in a way because well see for yourself when Germ
ans talk about deaths they often call them D rotten day lifter the rats of the winds the standard German noun is D tawbah singular heat album Flula the dev it's said that dogs tend to carry certain diseases and bacteria which according to a page I found isn't a true danger for human beings though they would have to have an extremely weak immune system to get sick from touching a death or getting in contact with their excrement in any way so that's highly unlikely I wonder how do people refer to
let's say doves or seagulls in your language is there a similar expression tell me in the comments and of course also feel free to check out my other videos and everything down there in the video description down below with many helpful links to my social media in order to stay up to date to start my Instagram photos or whatever and support options to pay Paul and patreon if you want to check that out as well thanks for watching anyway, I'm your VlogDave! Tschüss und bis zum nächsten Mal! :)
