well my uncle once shared a hilarious story about his attempt at becoming a stand-up comedian now he's not actually a comedian but he loves making people laugh so here's his tale so there I was convinced I could be the next big standup sensation I practiced my routine for weeks refining jokes and making sure they were familyfriendly I finally got the chance to perform at a local comedy club's open mic night so I walk up on stage nerves kicking in and the spotlight blinding me I start with what I
thought was a killer joke why did the bicycle fall over because it was too tired at this point I'm expecting laughter but all I get is a few pity Chuckles undeterred I move on to the next one I told my wife she was drawing her eyebrows too high she looked surprised the audience is mostly silent except for a few awkward coughs at this point I'm Sweating Bullets but I press on I used to play piano by ear but now I use my hands and fingers absolute silence not a single laugh at this point I'm star
