Hey there everyone~ In this video we will take a close look at the new special raid: Prison of execution. Now there are five mechanics stated in the description and each one of these are core mechanics so it's vital that you know of them and so does your teammates. Otherwise good luck clearing challenge mode xD Without further ado, let's now tackle each mechanics one by one. For starters here's an aerial view of the Boss field. As you can see it is divided into three sections: The spacious cen
ter field then the right and left wing. Both players and boss have access to all nooks and cranny of the field so you can actually drag Xingtian to either sides if you have the aggro. The very first mechanic that we will be covering are the Thunderbolt Ballistas. These ray gun thingies that you can see on the left and right wing can actually be used when inside the instance. Simply head over the back side of the gun and press the interact button Aim at Xingtian and upon pressing the fire button
there will be a 2 second delay before it fires. There's a chance that the Gunner will miss their shot and waste a bullet so to lower the chances of that happening the supports can equip Fiona's Aqua shackles and coordinate with the team's Gunners. Here's a tip for the aspiring Gunners: it doesn't really have to be a body blow in order for the damage to register. The bullets are actually AOE so for better chances of having your shot connect go ahead and aim at the ground near Xingtian's foot. Wh
en the shot connects there's a huge chance for the Gunner to steal the aggro from the tank so it's recommended for the Gunners to Grapple to Xingtian when that happens. Stay there until the tank grabs the aggro back before going back to your post otherwise there's a chance that Xingtian will leap to the Gunner and it's going to be a pain to bring him back to the center field. Most importantly the ballistas are ready to be fired at the very start of the raid and remember that after firing they wi
ll automatically reload after 30 seconds so every second counts. Moving on to the next mechanic we have Primordial Shadow which is more of like Xingtian's skill. He summons two spirit clones that will travel in a straight line dealing huge damage to those hit in the process. How huge you ask? Well let's just say that it can One-Shot you even with 63,000 physical resist so I'd advise you great Heroes to not take any chances. Third mechanic on the list is Ashen Flames: You will know that this one
is active when the field suddenly blazes up and the Alabaster eEmblem starts glowing. After 15 to 20 seconds a giant explosion covering the entire Arena will occur leaving everyone with one HP or even zero depending on their luck. In order to prevent that, All three Alabaster emblems must be activated. Their spot on the left, right and middle is fixed and they glow when Ashen Flames is active. Activating an emblem requires Two wanderers to enter its range and if the attempt is successful, every
one will gain Damage immunity to the explosion. Try to assign yourself a partner who will join you in the circle every time it happens. Now let's talk about the last two mechanics which makes the raid a little bit challenging. First we have: Punishment Nail After shingen's Shield is broken he will will lock on Four random players and drop giant Nails on their location. The Mark will follow the player until the very last second leaving them a small window to dodge the nail. So according to the
description this also deals massive amount of damage so let's go ahead and test it out with the same gears that I showed earlier. We'll get back to the nails a little bit later because here comes the Fifth mechanic namely: Warrior Maneuver. After casting Punishment Nail, Xingtian returns to the center of the field to charge a powerful attack. Meanwhile Xingtian clones will appear on the corners of the center field. The Clones will get randomly linked to a player and after a few seconds it will
charge towards them. Just think of it as something like the Primordial Shadow but this time you have to make the Clones collide with Xingtian which will take a huge chunk of his HP. By successfully directing all of the Clones towards Xingtian you will be able to interrupt his charged attack, otherwise it's Touch floor time. Now that we've discussed the last two mechanics let's try to see how we can tackle [Warrior Maneuver]. Making the Clones collide with Xingtian might seem easy at first glanc
e since you just have to position yourself at the opposite side of the Clone then wait for it to clash with Xingtian, however the Punishment Nails complicate this by a little. The nails can actually prevent the clones from moving further and this is why the positioning of the nails are also important. Since we know that the Clones only appear on the corners of the Center field avoid positioning the nails in any of these locations. This only leaves us with these spots so if you ever get marked
for the [Punishment Nail] coordinate with your team and take one of these locations. Also keep in mind that the number of [Punishment Nails] is not only Four but Five. One of them drops earlier than the rest and its location is random so that's another topic to discuss. These nails actually have a DOT that inflicts great damage to Non- fortitude users. Not only that it can also block the view from the Gunner and possibly make them miss. Now, we can attack these Nails and destroy them but it'
s going to take more than a couple hits. In fact it takes a hell lot of hits so it's recommended to have at least one fortitude Gnonno user in the team so they can easily destroy a nail with the hold attack. All right, now that we pretty much covered everything let's talk about different ways of clearing First of all, Good news for the casuals, you can actually clear Heroic Difficulty by powering through it. Forget the mechanics and just go full Unga-Bunga DPS. Heck, you can even ignore the
Ballistas. Just remember not to break Xingtian's Shield because that will trigger [Punishment Nail] and [Warrior Maneuver]. Although this is still data from the test servers so please take this with a grain of salt. Next is the normal way of clearing it where you follow the mechanics then Mald over stupid mistakes, but I think that beating Challenge difficulty is also possible even if you don't stick to the normal way. You just have to not break Xingtian's shields to avoid the troublesome mechan
ics and make sure most of the ballista shots connect. In fact we tried to test this theory and ended up with a surprising result. We weren't really taking the Run seriously but still managed to bring Xingtian's HP to Two bars with more than a minute left Now imagine if we did it with DPS line-ups. What do you guys think of this Special Raid?
