all right I'm very excited about this morning's guest welcome guys we have Joanne ble and Nicole here with the movie Letters to Stephanie guys it's so good to see you thanks for coming on news2 today thanks for having us excited absolutely so first question for you guys obviously this movie has taken off I mean you guys you're just telling me are up for five Awards which is incredible just give me a rundown of what this movie is about and why you guys just felt so important that um it was import
ant to share to everyone okay yeah you can anyone who wants to answer well I'm the 84 year old retired school teacher great grandmother who lived this story wow and it's an adoption story and it's actually it's already um been won or been nominated for 10 Awards oh 10 already exuse me and there and another um Festival said that we would were going to be a winner but we couldn't find out for what yet right it's amazing so tell me for you guys obviously you were in this movie um what was it like b
eing on set and working with each other yeah so this was my first lead role really first feature film ever so it was a complete dream come true for me I felt um just so lucky that she gave me the opportunity to play the lead role of Stephanie and I just hope that everybody watches this movie they feel hope and love and just it's a complete face bath movie so everyone will be inspired in some way so cool and then for you you actually wrote you wrote a song inspired by this movie I mean you you pl
ayed in this movie but tell me a little bit about your song and how you got to write it I mean you told me you wrote it in the car on the way back from filming which is amazing uh well I came on board as an actor um I play her adopted mom yeah a beautiful adoption story as well but um you know jod was on set and my character they had tried to have a child for over 10 years and she made a point to say that to me that day and add that line even in the moment and uh my my ride home I have a 2our an
d 40-minute ride home from where we were filming and uh the Lord just gave me a song and it ended up being called 10 years have gone by and then it multiplied and we now I now have four songs in the movie just these Awards just such a blessing and it's so deserving the film has been nominated for best inspirational film and truly it is inspirational wow and filmed right here in the low country in Somerville which is so cool when people watch this film and anyone can answer this maybe You' like w
hat do you hope they feel I mean you touched on it's it's an inspirational film what do you hope they get out of it yeah so there's so many pieces in this film and so no matter what you're going through you are going to be touched in some way whether that's adoption the loss of a child um just somebody that's going through something hard different challenges so no matter what you're going through you're going to be inspired I hope you're going to feel hopeful um and you're just going to you're g
oing to feel the faith you're going to feel God's presence and that's really what it's all about and I think that was the whole goal behind this film is that people would feel inspired and I think you will yes did you guys think it would do so well like when you film this you like oh this is amazing but did you realize it was going to be nominated for so many awards and just take off like this well all while we were filming you could just feel God's presence with the whole cast and crew and it's
like it just came together like that and it was it's it's powerful it yeah God's been with us all the way so amazing so last question for you guys where can someone watch this I know it's been in a few theaters which is so cool if someone wanted to catch it at home tonight where can they watch it redeem TV okay okay um if they already are have signed up and are in the system with redeem TV they can go on and watch free because it is a free Channel but with the free release I mean excuse me with
