we have seen artificial intelligence take off it's now being used in companies and here locally at West Tex s University and Amaro college tonight we're hearing from Fox 14's princess Bryant who explains how we can see AI being used by a few local nonprofits Amaro area foundation gave a presentation to local nonprofits about artificial intelligence and the benefits that can provide to them Brock Carter director of marketing at amarello area foundation says that traditionally nonprofit organizati
ons are late to technology but ameral area foundation wanted the nonprofits to see that AI is mostly affordable it can save a lot of time for these organizations it can it's a really great writing tool it really can help them um get uh their message across in a timely manner and it can help them IDE ideate so it helps them with um when they're having riters block or having you know just a day where they just don't feel creative Carter says that although AI brings lots of benefits to these organi
zations it may take time to see them I think the impact that AI is going to have on nonprofits is going to take time just as AI is still kind of the frontier uh in in the frontier phase of development but what we're suggesting for nonprofits to utilize is to save time and maximize their effort um as it relates to their daily work in in delivering their mission Carter talks more about the presentation that was given and the ways AI was used we showed them how to uh give prompts um to open Ai and
utilize it for writing job descriptions or even some HR policies of course we the caveat for all of that was that they needed to edit it and read it over because AI is not a perfect fit things like writing a thank you letter or appeal letters along with social media posts are things that Carter says nonprofits can use AI for helping them continue to spread their mission and message of the organization while maximizing their time live in studio princess Brant F4 news Maya princess thank you Carte
