Josh Talbot: eli is four and he is so excited to do this class with us, I thought it'd be a good idea, because we really wanted to make this class for the younger audience, like our little buddy light here. Josh Talbot: So anyways well, I want
to get started and do ourselves a little bit, my name is josh I worked for michaels i've worked for michael's for quite a while. Josh Talbot: And i'm an artist I get to draw all day for my job, and so anyone any of the kids out there, if you want to be an artist and draw for your job it totally can happen it's a real job and I really get to do it, and for my job I get to draw the fun things like Santa Claus and. Josh Talbot: Like pumpkins and Easter bunnies and all those type of things you might
see at michael's that's where I get to do and, but we also. Josh Talbot: When we're at work, we try to think of some other fun things to draw some more creative ways to get thinking, and I want to kind of show you guys some stuff today and i've got eli here to help me now eli. Josh Talbot: Did we have let's see next this coming Sunday is a special holiday to celebrate moms Do you remember that's called. Josh Talbot: Remember it's mother's day mother's day remember that day yeah mother's day and
we thought it'd be fun to do some drawings, together with you guys. Josh Talbot: To give to our moms I think it'd be a fun thing to share with them. Josh Talbot: And so that's what we're going to be doing today and I wanted to also real quick i'm gonna share my screen, because we have an announcement or a fun thing I want to show you along with talking about moms hold on one second. Josh Talbot: Let me see. Josh Talbot: about a month ago by like 25 days ago. Josh Talbot: We had a baby, this is
ours, so I spent a mom's we had a baby in our House and this is our new son and what's his name, you know. Josh Talbot: Matthew chase this is Matthew chase talbot he's the newest addition to our family and I got another picture of him with his mom This is my wife Jen is that exciting and so this is like this, I thought, a perfect opportunity to share this with you all, because. Josh Talbot: We love moms and we love kids and we're just so blessed to have mothers in our lives and babies and babies

Josh Talbot: On Thank you so much for the congratulations on the baby, so please, I want to have the Q amp a open and we're gonna i'm gonna have it open looking at it, the whole time. Josh Talbot: Because we have some important things that we need your help with we can't do it alone and we're going to be asking you some questions to give give us some ideas, so please put it in the chat and. Josh Talbot: Let us just kind of speak together okay so i've g
ot that pulled up there we're going to get started i've lost he liked you I can hear you our market dropped okay so we're gonna get started here. Josh Talbot: With a couple things to minute, can you switch the screen forceful fast. Josh Talbot: Okay, so i've got just use that camera back for a minute Okay, here we go so eli we're going to do a couple drives together. Josh Talbot: And we're going to give us a test okay all man Thank you so much jordana just says she's so happy to do this i'm so h
appy you guys are here, this is perfect, so you live in the future chirps a little bit. Josh Talbot: Here we go use it right there buddy and so eli's going to get some paper and i'm going to get some paper and we're going to practice a couple things first thank you, you. Josh Talbot: guys got your paper to Oh, I want you to cough some supplies, we have we have some markers here eli what's special about these markers. Josh Talbot: Drawing yeah I do too, and these markers smell. Josh Talbot: They
have smells so we were kind of said. Josh Talbot: Oh, my gosh the blue smells like blueberry got some colored pencils to. Josh Talbot: Oh, my goodness i've got a couple more markers over there. Josh Talbot: So yeah you're drawing supplies and yet when we start this Green marker we are going to start drawing. Josh Talbot: Some shapes and I want to see if you guys know what i'm talking about oh man Evelyn and Josephine Thank you so much, provide you guys are here Okay, so what we'll do. Josh Talbo
t: is on the rabbit very welcome to see oh yeah okay so we're gonna do is when I started through shapes you like you kind of helped me talk about which ones, these are okay. Josh Talbot: There you go but Chris Okay, can we see okay wanna make sure that they can see your paper buddy okay so for this first one you I want you to draw with me draw this shape key. Josh Talbot: Key key right here. Josh Talbot: give it a try. Josh Talbot: whoo and what shape is that signal circle yes it's a circle K no
t you like this next one. Josh Talbot: What she was that. Josh Talbot: After the dinner yeah very good triangles let me help you okay yeah okay i'll try just draw three lines of draw one line like this Okay, and then draw the next line like that. Josh Talbot: Yes, and then connected just can't connect these this end to that. Josh Talbot: Yes, good let's do it again let's do one more to go dry just a line up. Josh Talbot: And then, a line down. Josh Talbot: will close for you perfect and then con
nect them. Josh Talbot: eli good that's one thing guys that you're going to see today mean you I we draw all the different and that's okay. Josh Talbot: that's Okay, I think the most important thing is that we were drawing and the more that we draw the more comfortable, we will be withdrawing I promise I promise you that Okay, so now. Josh Talbot: Why don't try another shape okay you lie let's try. This sheet. Josh Talbot: rectangle rectangle you draw a rectangle. Josh Talbot: You like great now
rectangles are kind of cool because you can do rectangles that are wrong. Josh Talbot: That long rectangle. Josh Talbot: You can draw one of those. Josh Talbot: Oh, my goodness, or you can draw rectangles they're kind of short. Josh Talbot: You try that. Josh Talbot: good job, this is perfect, so you guys these these shapes are going to help us today, I promise you they're gonna help us today. Josh Talbot: um so i'm seeing the chat do we need a big piece of paper, the paper that we're using is
just a half by 11 copy paper, the unexpected. Josh Talbot: is stuck on the back of your marker bed, so this the the normal in half by 11 paper you can use whatever you need, and I should have I should have said that earlier. Josh Talbot: So just whatever paper this construction paper card stock we're going to be using just normal paper today. Josh Talbot: And as far as we were using markers right now we have some colored pencils, but you can use crayons oil, pastels whatever you want watercolor
today we're just going to be experimenting and doesn't really matter what you use, I want to share real quick. Josh Talbot: I want to show you guys a picture you probably already saw this I saw you saw this, so this is the picture that we. Josh Talbot: put on the class cover you seen that before, yes, and so you probably saw this when you sign up for the class, this is a picture of a mommy cat and a baby a baby cat and we use some pretty simple shapes, just like the shapes we just practiced to m
ake these animals. Josh Talbot: triangle, we made triangles hi yeah you can find the trash can you find the circles. Josh Talbot: A circle on the head yeah and so we're going to use some of these simple shapes to make some animals today, and so I want to show you guys that those those shapes we just practiced. Josh Talbot: they're going to be really helpful when we do our animals and we're probably going to learn a few more shapes as we go along okay guys so. Josh Talbot: This this next part oh
OK. Josh Talbot: let's see. Josh Talbot: Okay, oh oh there we go sorry okay awesome Thank you Thank you so much. Josh Talbot: Okay, she just helped me not have this shape, because this this part of shaking too much there shaking our camera okay Thank you so much mommy okay. Josh Talbot: Perfect so let's get started on an animal I think we're going to try to draw the cat maybe the store fat cat just like we did before so let's put those over there yep. Josh Talbot: yep get a new piece of paper an
d he let me get you some more papers papers just for fun. Josh Talbot: Okay, I think you're kind of fallen officer as a little bit, can you come well I think that's about right Okay, do you feel Okay, yes Okay, let me get my Daddy got my marker okay let's do this okay so we're going to draw it out. Josh Talbot: There over here it's okay it's okay so guys, are you all ready yes let's drop a draft first draft first okay you guys okay with that people will do a draft first. Josh Talbot: Okay we'll
do a draft first because he I think he says favorite his favorite animals draft yeah okay So the first thing we're going to do for this draft is we're just going to draw a line. Josh Talbot: You guys draw a line. Josh Talbot: love it oh MIA Bella an elephant is your favorite that's i'm so glad you told us, please in the chat. Josh Talbot: Tell us some of your other favorite animals, because I think that that's going to come into play later, I want to hear what your favorite animals are so please
d Q, thank you for saying that mutability. Josh Talbot: Okay now here we go, so the well this line, the next thing we have to do is we're going to put half of a circle, right here okay in front of it, so it kind of turns into a little bit of a candy cane shape. Josh Talbot: Perfect you guys looking great Okay, I did the same sheet yep yep and I I did perfect and looks perfect but good job okay it's a candy cane it's a candy cane now can you create your candy cane just a little bit more. Josh Tal
bot: Just a little bit more. Josh Talbot: perfect. Josh Talbot: Okay, and then let's draw a straight line. Josh Talbot: right there. Josh Talbot: Perfect candy cane shoe belong candy cane now I think you I promise you that maybe you're drawn the baby draft and maybe i'm a drama mommy draft yeah I can the baby the baby i'm drawing the money. Josh Talbot: Okay, so now we're going to draw the neck so it's gonna be a long line that we go all the way down and talk about their yep you can do a little
bit of sore neck for yours. Josh Talbot: So start with so on this point on the end at the end of this line drive straight down, maybe a little bit longer. Josh Talbot: Okay, yes, as famous as the baby's neck Okay, the. Josh Talbot: Next case, these eyes. Josh Talbot: How about can we can we wait for the eyes for just one minute yeah let's try the rest of his first name on the word up at the ice. Josh Talbot: So now guys, I want you to come up to the top at this line, right here, where this line
ends and we're going to put what what when I draw your call to come up to this where this is and do a straight line or. Josh Talbot: Do yeah just to put your marker right here at the end of this line. Josh Talbot: And then draw rules for lined up. Josh Talbot: perfect. Josh Talbot: Okay, and now next that. Josh Talbot: draw another line up Okay, can you do that. Josh Talbot: perfect and now. Josh Talbot: it's going to be country you guys. Josh Talbot: Old bent line next to that so you'd like to
see all you have is it's almost like a crescent remember this ship press the shape crescent yeah like a half moon yep as a Christian ship guys is like this. Josh Talbot: So just draw yep. Josh Talbot: that's the crescent good job and then but we're gonna do we're gonna do is we're going to use the other side of that crescent to make kind of like an eye shape. Josh Talbot: So, can you draw that you like to make it perfect now it's not as I you'll see later with us going to be now at that same poi
nt, right here. Josh Talbot: I want you to draw the start there at the corner that I shape and draw a straight line down okay. Josh Talbot: best thing to the other side of neck, can you do that. Josh Talbot: perfect and then maybe take this line and push it a little bit farther up all we can do that. Josh Talbot: whoo good job okay now I think it's a good time to draw the eyes eli yes. Josh Talbot: So i'm thinking will put the eyes kind of right here, right here you have for my there you can put
it wherever you want, but. Josh Talbot: You put eyes, where you want to put i'll put i'll put this is where I put him, and you can see where I put them, and you can put your eyes, wherever you want to put him okay. Josh Talbot: whoa he, like. Josh Talbot: I love those eyes now share that special now let's draw the feet Okay, so what we're gonna do is we're gonna take on it, so my eyes, I feel, not. Josh Talbot: ooh I like that eli. Ximena Vargas: So josh well you like niches filling out those e
yes, we do have a few favorite animals so i'll read them out to you sneak bunny keita rats elephants beaver pig birds and cats. Josh Talbot: Oh, you guys Thank you so much for sharing Those are all excellent animals, and I think eli will be funded probably draw on those today. Josh Talbot: I think so let's see if we have some time, I want to draw those animals guys let's do this okay you lie, so the next thing we're going to do is on this. Ximena Vargas: line. Josh Talbot: On this left side we'r
e gonna come down here and draw it a little bit longer like that. Josh Talbot: And this is where our shapes are going to come in come in handy why don't we turn this line into a rectangle. Josh Talbot: That liking my i'd rather Christian like me okay. Josh Talbot: Maybe we've got a draft standard at nighttime yep a curved line like that, and then draw another curved line connection and so maybe draw your line, a little bit longer over there. Josh Talbot: yeah and then connect those two ends. Jos
h Talbot: over here like maybe yeah yeah drano connect them. Josh Talbot: You know, it almost looks like to me almost like a son Daddy that should be a ghost that night. Josh Talbot: And they're sleeping that's way better I love the ghost idea that's perfect good. Josh Talbot: question I make my race, the crescent and make a ghost yeah I can't race very well with a marker, but I can find a way to turn it into a ghost. Josh Talbot: Oh that's spooky eli I love it I love it that's so good, you guys
feel free to draw anything fun on your paper you want draw to you, they had a great idea drug ghost I love that any comments on it. Josh Talbot: You will turn out with her after Okay, but she can hear on the TVs that I gotta go oh yeah she here on the TV that's right OK, so now how about in the bottom of your of your neck why don't you make a rectangle can you make it failed on their. Josh Talbot: On their opening their eyes and when they're not fully there. Josh Talbot: That you lie that's per
fect and they can't. Josh Talbot: They can't do that that way they're still pretty happy, yes I love it so let's just smile smile. Josh Talbot: smile. Josh Talbot: right there. Ximena Vargas: So, in the meantime, a few more. Josh Talbot: Their smile that's a stair face to know that ghost is coming, I like it, it is good job good job well we're gonna go. Josh Talbot: To me on the chimney oh perfect a whole story going on guys, this is wonderful human or what were you gonna say. Ximena Vargas: So
much imagination eli so a few more at favorite animals came in dogs ducks turtles koalas and walks. Josh Talbot: ooh Those are all awesome we've got to pick one to draw with all the next one, so. Josh Talbot: The Wolf. Josh Talbot: is just something that fly. Josh Talbot: Now it's like a ghost. Josh Talbot: A ghost like. Josh Talbot: An owl did anybody anybody give a. Josh Talbot: unicorn and Fox and someone else likes al's to I mean wolves to see I think what we should do eli is, we can Daddy.
Josh Talbot: Okay, right here. Josh Talbot: Lucas is I just printed legs right there hope you saw me do that I did the first one kind of bending Alex like a little bit of a macaroni shape. Josh Talbot: If you like macaroni and cheese that's kinda looks like and then there's the other four legs and then for the related stuff i'll stop right there for saying this will catch up, so you like, can you give it a try. Josh Talbot: Nice love it, but those are those are crescents that looks so good, do I
draw the tail. Josh Talbot: I know, Dr tell us like that, too, and then, sometimes I might tell it to put like a little wiggly part I don't know a while ago fluff yeah so you put like a little drunk goats and then. Josh Talbot: It goes to the night I can do that JESSICA i'm so glad you're here too and vultures someone said, like bolsters that's great so I try to finish this draft real fast. Josh Talbot: So there's the tail and then coloring in the bottom of these steps on the tail and the wind
is blowing them the fluff on the tail winds blowing it. Josh Talbot: You like us some good we're about what what we dress them here, I think you draw some here and the wind blowing the hair like that I do some here on the top of the draft. Josh Talbot: Prepare and then stress have these kind of a little ball shapes on top of their horns sounds good, cobalt shapes up there okay. Okay. Josh Talbot: perfect and then maybe another year, it almost looks like we're missing other air so there's both ea
rs faster that's the chimney so. Josh Talbot: yeah Maybe I should know you have drawn here, you can you can do, everyone is. Josh Talbot: OK, so now guys if, like, I might be going fast here i'm just going to show like what i'm doing i'll be Fisher. Josh Talbot: One draft in here the ghost know drafting here the ghost very good. Josh Talbot: Okay, my ghost will be right here let's see you guys want to draw goes, I think I draw a long line up. Josh Talbot: A crescent on the top and then back down
. Josh Talbot: whoa whoa that was super spooky and sometimes just has. Josh Talbot: Three eyes whoa. Josh Talbot: ghost. Josh Talbot: or eyes Oh, my goodness guys, if this is too scary for you guys, you can stop the video at any point OK there's my ghost look at that just boom yeah silly. Josh Talbot: Is scary too scary Oh, my goodness i'm john and one but there's like on your mouth. Josh Talbot: mouth oh here's just one as it goes, with the eyes. Josh Talbot: The. Josh Talbot: eyes, I have my g
oal, I do I do this it kind of goes to do with the four eyes yeah. Josh Talbot: Okay, there we go. Josh Talbot: So. Josh Talbot: um well I got the windows servers to be super dark in the night. Josh Talbot: So we are markers Oh well, maybe, but then it goes currents, then when people see us on the movie it was either later tonight, I just want to do one more thing guys i'm so then. Josh Talbot: You like we're going to do you want bar what color you can put you can put spots on your on your giraf
fe. Josh Talbot: have different colors. Josh Talbot: Maybe we just need to move on to the next animal I bet if you guys excited for other things, maybe that's what we gotta do we got up next and we're going so you guys get a lot of ideas for animals to draw. Josh Talbot: I saw a unicorn there, and you like i'm thinking our sister relates unicorn time both or sisters do work we do a unicorn for so that anyone that's like. Josh Talbot: These are bad dressed welcome i'm make little smashers to smas
h the goats oh that's a good idea, is it just matters right there. Josh Talbot: And these are smash smash it so was. Josh Talbot: Daddy was that smash the ghosts yeah for for our paper and the garbage, or so I pictures. Josh Talbot: Okay well surreptitiously girls before we smash them okay guys what color dress good, but there is a giraffe here's one more one more smasher as a ghost yeah, this is a pretty spooky picture good job si and. Josh Talbot: I sees the smash. Josh Talbot: well worth on t
his next one eli work we draw unicorn up with that sure okay first. Ximena Vargas: actually have someone in the chat Evelyn is making a unicorn graph how about that. Josh Talbot: Oh, everyone looks so perfect that's awesome well then, you know what and I guess you're right Ellen we kind of almost like a force type of animal here, maybe we should do something a little different do dinosaurs counters animals do. Josh Talbot: You see, the cursor yet what extra sharks and dinosaurs whoa Okay, I thin
k we got the vote guys, this is kind of a dragon someone semi dragon oh yeah so dragons to let's do it all okay let's let's get a new piece of paper. Josh Talbot: let's keep this money will love that oh. Josh Talbot: Okay, any washboard you want um i'll try this light blue OK. Josh Talbot: So the guy let's start with what do you see a shark eli yes okay so guys we're into a shark and a dinosaur and what was the other thing you said yeah. Josh Talbot: A dragon oh man there's a lots of scary thing
s How much are we going to do today, and I said, well, we have an hour is how long we, we have to go. Josh Talbot: Oh, and I forgot the cats that's right Jules is talking about it during the cast we did tell me dry cats, so we have an hour I also recognize that we're drawing with for your House so we're trying to make sure that we don't. Josh Talbot: That we don't lose focus Okay, so why don't we do this let's draw the. Josh Talbot: cats, so I think that people can have the class, we want to rea
d those cats and then we can draw shark Okay, yes okay so i'm going to draw with a pink. Josh Talbot: Okay well if it's not too light blue shirt I picked up a shark let's do the cats first okay. Josh Talbot: So let me get a purple get a little darker okay Okay, here we go, we knew some cascade guys employees ducks little sister likes ducks I love that. Josh Talbot: I like ducks to these are all wonderful guys so let's try the cats, though, so for our cat we're going to start with a kind of Ole i
s circle shape watch watch me. Josh Talbot: Now. Josh Talbot: I can always oval can you draw one of those. Josh Talbot: I love it. Josh Talbot: Okay perfect. Josh Talbot: For. Josh Talbot: For thorne will make that will make maybe we can use that stick later. Josh Talbot: comes to make some thorns It makes me thorns okay for the next part of the cat Daddy I okay. Josh Talbot: Do. Josh Talbot: You run some place. Josh Talbot: If it's okay it's okay. Josh Talbot: Okay, today I have. Josh Talbot: T
o do something okay Mister man. Josh Talbot: Okay. Josh Talbot: Okay we're gonna have a we have a snack break I brought some animal crackers. Josh Talbot: what's up buddy. Josh Talbot: Nice finish with him borrow your phone, for me, you like. Josh Talbot: Okay hey guys, I have an idea let's all do you guys, with a little i'll be right back i'm gonna I think you I need to see his mom for a second i'll be right back I I don't see my mom just a second K. Ximena Vargas: Little two minute break every
one on that will give everyone time to catch up, who hasn't caught up and we'll be right back with you. Ximena Vargas: hey there josh. Josh Talbot: hey okay i'm back. You. Ximena Vargas: know the phone. Josh Talbot: Okay Okay, I can see that things that you can you can spotlight my face and i'll fix the cam how about that. Ximena Vargas: Okay, one second there we go. Josh Talbot: Okay sorry about that guys, but you know what it's Okay, where is it's real this is this is real life here and I reco
gnize kids drain so i'll try to keep this exciting. Josh Talbot: My four year old love to see the the tripod for the camera and he loves levers and things that move, and he wanted to play with it, but. Josh Talbot: it's okay Okay, but please, I understand that your your kids might be getting antsy to so we'll try to keep it exciting I brought I brought snacks if you want us back time sure we're pulling out sooner, but anyways let's go back to the drawing let's go back to drawing the cat okay guy
s. Josh Talbot: Okay, we got this we got this Okay, so I drew this little voice there it is he'll finish later Okay, so I drew this over here and then we're going to draw. Josh Talbot: two lines coming down from it like that okay that's going to be like the neck of our cat all right, and then on this other side, how the neck body on this side, right here. Josh Talbot: we're gonna put this shape right here okay. Josh Talbot: And that's going to be like the back end of our cat now we're gonna come
back up here and we're going to put an ear. Josh Talbot: And you're. Josh Talbot: right there okay there's the ears of our cat. Josh Talbot: And a pause I find it kind of went a little fast there I don't pull up the Q amp a lost that against make sure So are we driving one or two cats on the picture for this class I had two cats ideally i'd like to see if I could draw two cats again. Josh Talbot: sense that question I almost feel like I made those ears too small, and so, if you ever do that an
easy thing to do. Josh Talbot: is just put a line. Josh Talbot: around them, and all of a sudden, they got bigger ears like that OK. Josh Talbot: The next thing I think we're going to do is draw our eyes and I like. Josh Talbot: On our to wrap we did is they called button is that just black circles renew some black circle is. Josh Talbot: OK. Josh Talbot: And then we're going to do a triangle nose okay upside down triangle so sorry well festivals I keep wanting to slow, because that point, so we
got two eyes. Josh Talbot: are also don't try and go to our mouth and suddenly remember guys when you're drawing animals and we'll probably do this here with the baby. Josh Talbot: Whenever you're driving babies usually the top of the head is bigger and the bottom of the head is kind of smaller and they're very dry adults is the other way around, usually the Bob has a little bigger. Josh Talbot: And the top as a kind of smart you'll see what i'm talking about but that's kind of why this looks t
he way it does so we're gonna put a line down the middle that knows. Josh Talbot: Okay, and then this one, it might be it's gonna be different than the picture, a little differently picture. Josh Talbot: And a big smile Okay, one thing I do remember doing on that picture. Josh Talbot: Is that all unicorn cats oh it's so good, you know what i'm gonna do that right now that's so good. Josh Talbot: Because I was thinking, I want to make sure this looks like a mom. Josh Talbot: And I think a unicorn
Horn, would be a great way to make it look like. Josh Talbot: they're perfect so make a unicorn cat but I was also another way to make it look like a mom is some eyelashes and my daughter, the six year old loves to draw big eyelashes like that so let's do that, yes, unit kitty unit cat love it okay. Josh Talbot: And then you can put some lines on the side for whiskers. Josh Talbot: And maybe even a couple dots here, sometimes you see the dots there for weather, which was attached okay so there'
s our mom unit cat okay. Josh Talbot: And then we'll do our baby and again it's like a little bit different than the picture on the cover but we're into the same shape for the baby's head kind of like a squished oval okay. Josh Talbot: And we're on the cover, I think we had the baby's head kind of looking a little bit at his mom so we're going to go these ears are going to kind of point a little bit like that, so this one's here. Josh Talbot: This one's here again triangles. Josh Talbot: And the
n i'm in the same family with the mom i'm going to go on top of those triangles. Josh Talbot: To make the ears bigger. Josh Talbot: OK. Josh Talbot: And then let's get that unicorn Horn there it's not forget that. Josh Talbot: i'm using a different color. Josh Talbot: For it. Josh Talbot: like that. Josh Talbot: The nice thing about these markers, these are the standard ones I told you, we have they have what's called a chisel tip and so you can do kind of like thin lines and thick lines so that
's kind of fun to build a different. Josh Talbot: But this rose i'm gonna show you guys want to talk about with the eyes and the head, so I want the top of this head to be a little bit bigger than the bottom and whenever you're drying baby animals, the bigger the eyes the cure they look so remember some really big eyes okay. Josh Talbot: whoo those are big eyes and see I got a lot more room on the forehead or a little bit more room for it, I do down here the bottom of the face, compared to I did
with the mom Okay, so now. Josh Talbot: i'm going to put the little nose and i'm going to put the nose so tiny and that's something else we talked about when we're drying is what's called scale. Josh Talbot: And so you're able to like we want the eyes to look big, and so one way to make the Isaac big is to make the other parts of the Facebook small, so I made that nose super small with a little line. Josh Talbot: and Josh Talbot: let's see i'm trying to say I kind of want to match the mom and i
t same style so i'll still do a big mouth, but i'll make the mouth, a little bit thinner. Josh Talbot: And then still going to do the eyelashes will make it a girl baby. Josh Talbot: And then we'll do the. Josh Talbot: whiskers. Josh Talbot: Like that sometimes you can put little cheat on you posted before you put little like. Josh Talbot: semi circles there for the cheeks sometimes that's kind of cute. Josh Talbot: But there's our baby cat now let's draw the rest of it. Josh Talbot: So i'm goin
g too fast, let me know guys i'm watching the chat if you have questions, let me know we're going to come down here and make like a backwards C shape or like maybe like a D or something. Josh Talbot: And then, for the tail i'm gonna come here i'm gonna make. Josh Talbot: A candy change shape like that. Josh Talbot: i'm going to connect it back to my D shape right there okay there's the tail. Josh Talbot: And then. Josh Talbot: A little line right there and what this is is going to be the cat sit
ting down so it's going to be the cyrus arm and then right there is its leg catalog of an s shape. Josh Talbot: And then, right here is this other front leg. Josh Talbot: And then the last thing to add is just kind of like a little semi circle shape here and it's kind of its back lake we can't see much of it, maybe put a lump there. Josh Talbot: That suspect like and there's our there's our baby cat and then for the mom we're going to do something kind of similar we're into a. Josh Talbot: backw
ards shape again like a backwards see. Josh Talbot: Because that was uh yeah backwards C shape and then we're gonna put her lake like that, so you can be changed. Josh Talbot: And i'm gonna make my connect them here. Josh Talbot: With kind of like an l shape or like this side of a rectangle shape. Josh Talbot: like that. Josh Talbot: And then. Josh Talbot: For her other lake. Josh Talbot: See right here. Josh Talbot: there's her legs Okay, and then I want you to her tail in there, I will make he
r tail up. Josh Talbot: I think it was down in the picture I probably Internet bill for her this time and there's our cats and I think this is a cool opportunity, you know i'm looking at her eyes my eyes a little bit bigger to match her her daughter right there. Josh Talbot: cool cool i'll put all dots there. Josh Talbot: And let's let's see what we're talking about we're at 40 at 248 let's use a little bit of time to color these, and so I like what we did with that giraffe. Josh Talbot: let's d
o the same thing here. Josh Talbot: I like using like the lighter colors declare them, I think the cats, we did for pink and orange on the Internet. Josh Talbot: They will buy you something similar here. Josh Talbot: So. Josh Talbot: yeah I think it's kind of cool us a little bit lighter color. Josh Talbot: is probably has to every match on lighter color than my lines. Josh Talbot: Are you shaking a little bit there. Josh Talbot: And then i'm going to just press lightly for the inside the ears a
nd that makes them look oh later, but like the same color. Josh Talbot: And then, what I want to do, I think we did it on the Internet to. Josh Talbot: I put. Josh Talbot: I made the bottom half of the face white. Josh Talbot: or like lighter I want to do the same thing here, and this time we'll do something a little different than done before i'm gonna maybe I don't even see that it's pretty hard to see. Josh Talbot: And please those smile shapes like a. Josh Talbot: Half of a Crescent, like yo
u, I was talking about right there. Josh Talbot: And another one right here. Josh Talbot: i'm adding wings and you're wonderful and oh your dad says you start over that's okay that's okay. Josh Talbot: Maybe if I do, that all the time, or sometimes I like if I made a mistake as use my mistake you'll know best what you need to do the wings, is a great idea I think I might try to add that, on here to let me see. Ximena Vargas: Also, just a reminder for everyone if anyone is behind and you want to
go back and rewatch this class and go slower and pause it from time to time i've put the links in the chat to where you can buy the recording and about 24 to 48 hours. Josh Talbot: Oh awesome Thank you so. Much. Josh Talbot: That makes me think of one just one more thing these little shapes we left here, why don't we put a little. Josh Talbot: sheet circle that'd be cute. Josh Talbot: Okay guys, I want to make sure we have enough time to draw another one let's see i'll just draw i'll kind of go
quick here. Josh Talbot: I just wanted to also show one thing I like doing dragons guys is you don't have to put a line around everything, so we did our purple lines for the outsides but i'm not going to put purple lines. Josh Talbot: between this white and the orange. Josh Talbot: color it in here i'm kind of going fast and fast. Josh Talbot: Can I leave the feet white. Josh Talbot: The white. Josh Talbot: orange Okay, and its tail orange to okay. Josh Talbot: There we go. Josh Talbot: little b
it lighter here. Josh Talbot: i'll leave a tip of the tail white to. Josh Talbot: Okay. Josh Talbot: Then one more thing I want to add one more quick thing. Josh Talbot: yeah a little bit darker color like red or something and added some strikes, can you guys see those might be too late to see this to like to see. Josh Talbot: That one more color. Josh Talbot: dark. Josh Talbot: Brown. Josh Talbot: I think i'm a video on the Internet, I did a little. Josh Talbot: triangle shape up there. Josh Ta
lbot: yeah Oh, oh no broke the pencil okay that's right you guys idea when you stop that anyways and then the pink little baby okay they're asking for other animals we got lots to do Okay, so you guys you guys get the idea but there's there's our baby and our mom okay. Josh Talbot: let's do another one. Josh Talbot: Okay. Josh Talbot: let's do I see Wolf and we talked about dinosaur and unicorn. Josh Talbot: Okay let's do it let's do it. Josh Talbot: let's do landscape. Josh Talbot: On this one
i'm gonna change my tool i'm going to use a quarter pencil to start out with guys. Josh Talbot: let's do the wolf. Josh Talbot: Okay wolves are super cool and super scary. Josh Talbot: Thankfully i've not met one in person, before I hope to never have to do that, but I like watching movies so i'm gonna draw a straight line down and you see with a pencil I can be more sketchy so I can put lots of little lines there. Josh Talbot: So straight line down and went over like a rectangle and then one mo
re line going up like i'm gonna start making a triangle that makes sense now that's gonna be the body of our wolf now the back leg on put one of those see shapes that we've talked about. Josh Talbot: And then. Josh Talbot: This over. Josh Talbot: come down. Josh Talbot: And this is where it gets kind of crazy when it comes to a little farther and invent in. Josh Talbot: like that. Josh Talbot: So that makes sense. Josh Talbot: bit more access. Josh Talbot: That probably got a little tricky i'm s
orry I like that a little little trees is still simple shapes you basically got like a little half circle here, I have circle here almost like a rectangle there and a rectangle there they kind of make that okay. Josh Talbot: Then, for the front leg. Josh Talbot: straight line like this straight down. Josh Talbot: Okay, now, one thing I want to show you guys let's see if we're at 47. Josh Talbot: I think sometimes people think that artists just know how to draw everything out of head. Josh Talbot
: And it's actually really important to look at reference I miss you can't see what i'm doing now about point up a quick picture of a wolf. Josh Talbot: Just so I get an idea of the way the wolf looks OK now we're back okay I just don't forget I won't forget some parts okay so let's go back so you guys can see me doing there we go so wolves. Josh Talbot: have big fluffy tales so let's draw like a half of a C shape and another half of the C shaped kind of good Christians shape draw that big tail
there. Josh Talbot: And then the best part about the wolf is the head now we're going to draw. Josh Talbot: A line like that. Josh Talbot: Line like that. Josh Talbot: like that. Josh Talbot: Like that that. Josh Talbot: was kind of making. Josh Talbot: Like a Pentagon, but a talk. Josh Talbot: Like that can you sense and then we're going to do the ears ears Athena walls and other creatures like this. Josh Talbot: If we knew sharp shapes that'll make it feel scarier Okay, so a lot of sharp shape
s going on here. Josh Talbot: Now now we're going to do a nose right here again a sharp shape when do a triangle for the nose. Josh Talbot: Long shape up here. Josh Talbot: that's the top of the nose and then right here. Josh Talbot: Have circles for the eyes whoo all of a sudden, it looks really scary it doesn't it. Josh Talbot: huh that's still make this look nice like for who were supposed to be drawn mom with its baby. Josh Talbot: What figured out what's a big smile. Josh Talbot: like that,
and the teeth. Josh Talbot: A little line right there kind of go over to the cat okay. Josh Talbot: And then, in front, right here, where your neck and neck there's the neck and then we're going to come over here. Josh Talbot: there's other leg and then over here we do the same thing repeat the shape of a line going like same directions that line. Josh Talbot: like that and there's the back leg, and you see, I kind of there's a little more complex there's a lot more shapes going on here but the
re's the wolf and we'll do some eyes, look at that little bit of like a gumdrop shape there and I. Josh Talbot: Another gumdrop shape I vampire werewolf I love it it doesn't like it doesn't it. Josh Talbot: And then I work for you do all your data i'm sorry I went too fast, I got I got will answer you, I guess, I thought we're gonna run out of time i'll just pause for a second guys can look at this and you know put in the wolf down here the bottom. Josh Talbot: Maybe run out of space, I wonder w
onder if I put the wolf up here on the top and I can make. Josh Talbot: You make its eyes looking like they're looking over here. Josh Talbot: hmm that's gonna be tricky because I was just looking back anyways I wonder if I could put its eyes to put some eyebrows like this it won't look as scary and then I could put the baby wolf up here. Josh Talbot: Now we're trying to drive a wolf I want to draw some other things Oh, my goodness, but spacey same same shapes right. Josh Talbot: Okay same shape
s and we'll put just a little tail. Josh Talbot: right there, and maybe maybe we'll make the shapes email this simple make it look like a simple little baby Okay, the bigger ears. Josh Talbot: And this one, we can put around eyes look nicer and it's looking down as long. Josh Talbot: This little nose. Josh Talbot: And mouth there Okay, but let's do let's do let's do some words we talked to you guys talked about out, we talked about unicorn. Josh Talbot: In the chat you guys, let me check out som
e of the ones you want to do there's a lot, you said earlier, if I was to do one last one, what was the to. Josh Talbot: Allah corn ooh I love it that's awesome you guys are doing now like when when your eloquent have a bunny that's cute too Okay, these are all good. Josh Talbot: let's do. Josh Talbot: manage all good listen i'm gonna do if the owl or the our corn, and the bunny. Josh Talbot: So. Josh Talbot: Can you do a bird perfect as a bird. Josh Talbot: Bird. Josh Talbot: You see, that righ
t there. Josh Talbot: And then another shape inside of it like this. Josh Talbot: And then. Josh Talbot: tail. Josh Talbot: Oh no I think you do you want come at Dr wolf an alpha second sure. Josh Talbot: You can finish off driving an hour okay. Josh Talbot: An hour. Josh Talbot: I said oh wow oh you got hurt okay Okay, thank you, but OK. Josh Talbot: It comes down right here. Josh Talbot: And we can shoot you over for me okay. Josh Talbot: Daddy. Josh Talbot: Why don't you drew yeah. Josh Talbo
t: The end but right now, if we start now well let's find that picture for stuff finished. Josh Talbot: Like a boat I don't remember. Josh Talbot: They have the ghost on. Josh Talbot: This one here this one, yes that'd be perfect l yes, maybe you can make it your circle, for your head. Josh Talbot: You put an l body on the bottom of it, you want to try that. Josh Talbot: Oh that's okay that happens, while you're doing that i'm just gonna do a little bit his foot okay. Josh Talbot: Now yeah okay.
Josh Talbot: Nice okay chicken chicken. Josh Talbot: chicken head that's perfect. Josh Talbot: robot chicken robot chicken robot a robot owl that's perfect, but we do they asked for a unicorn i'll maybe do a unicorn robot l how's that sound yeah yeah. Josh Talbot: So on the top of this circle head i'm just gonna put it's. Josh Talbot: Like almost like horns draw those real fast here's two arms ooh I like your arms eli that's great and. Josh Talbot: there's the unicorn Horn eli great hands Bud h
oly cow maybe I need to do that, I draw some hands on mine. Josh Talbot: Maybe that's what makes it a robot you. Josh Talbot: feel free draw some hands guys did. Josh Talbot: You do some eyes, you I could drop but. Josh Talbot: yeah there is buttons on some robots on. Josh Talbot: good idea. Josh Talbot: i'll draw some buttons to. Josh Talbot: smile and that's pretty good robot like that robot hand come out there, maybe sometimes robot is have different stripes like this. Josh Talbot: So I mean
they're like power come off as unicorn. Josh Talbot: like that. Josh Talbot: yeah and then we can do like a stripe like we did on our cats right under the eyes oh yeah that's so cool match great, but I love that that looks great. Josh Talbot: Man is playing here's a boy and. Josh Talbot: What about some feet, you might give us some feet. Josh Talbot: yep. Josh Talbot: Oh, my goodness, I got just a little. Josh Talbot: Okay. Josh Talbot: awesome let's put the Eleanor branch that's perfect yeah le
