Even as, like, a foreigner, I was able to go to the doctor 특히 저는 외국인임에도 그렇게 쉽게 and you know, get a checkup and get medicine easily. 병원에 가서 검진을 받고 약을 받을 수 있다는 게요 So I liked that. 그래서 그게 정말 좋아요 Yeah, and as someone who's going to be a doctor, 네, 의사를 준비하는 분으로서 that's probably an important aspect for you, right? 그런 점은 중요한 부분이죠? Yeah, healthcare is very important, 네, 의료는 정말 중요하죠, and so I like the healthcare system h

ere. 제가 또 한국의 의료 시스템이 좋은 이유가 If you're here for long term, you're required to get health insurance, 한국에서는 장기적으로 거주할 경우 건강 보험에 가입해야 해요. which is nice because, in America, 이게 정말 좋은 점인 게 미국에서는 not every citizen even has health insurance. 시민들조차 건강 보험이 없는 경우가 있거든요 Especially 'cause I want to work in the medical system, 저는 의료계에서 일하고 싶기 때문에 I really appreciate that fact. 한국에서는 그게 필수라는 사실이 정말 좋아요. However, when you're a foreigner, 하지만, 본인이 외국인인데 and you don't have a resident card, 외국인 등록증도 없고, when you're not a long-term resident, 장기 거주자도 아니라면, some aspects of the life here can be quite inconvenient, 여러 가지 측면에서 상당히 불편할 수 있어요. such as ordering food online, shopping online. 온라인으로 음식을 주문하거나 온라인 쇼핑 같은 걸 할 때요 When you don't have an ARC resident number, 외국인 등록 번호가 없다면, it's basically impossible to verify your credit card information.

신용카드를 사용하기 위해 인증하는 것도 불가능하거든요 Even opening a bank account here can be quite difficult. 은행 계좌를 개설하는 것도 어렵고요 So you can really feel a difference 그래서 한국 사회에 통합되기 위한 and maybe difficulty to integrate into the society here. 시스템의 차이와 어려움을 느낄 수 있어요 So you didn't expect how difficult it would be 한국에서 정착하고 사회에 통합되는 것이 to really set your life up and integrate into Korea? 이렇게까지 어려울 줄은 예상 못 하셨다는 거죠?
