In the heart of one of the most anticipated clashes in English football. Emotions run high as Manchester City faced off against Liverpool But amidst the intensity of the game a dramatic subplot unfolded involving none other than City's talismanic midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and his manager Pep Guardiola It all started with De Bruyne as substitution in the 69th minute of the match Clearly displeased with the decision, the broiler exchanged heated words with Guardiola on the touchline The Belgian m
aestro had been a pivotal figure in the game providing an assist in the first half with a sharp corner that led to John Stones His opener However his influence waned in the second half particularly after City conceded a penalty early on and Guardiola felt it was time for a change But De Bruyne as frustration didn't end with his conversation with Guardiola He continued his heated exchange with members of the coaching staff showing just how much the decision had rattled him Despite appearing to ca
lm down while sitting among his teammates the tension reignited when Guardiola approached the bench later in the game De Bruyne and Guardiola engaged in a frank exchange of words once again with De Bruyne even gesturing towards the pitch presumably indicating areas he felt City could exploit Guardiola however downplayed the incident stating That's good Have a chance next game to prove it But listen Kevin is looking to say for Kevin we need it and we need him And he's really really important It's
not for him So he is in difficult place to come to play He emphasized the need for a player who can maintain possession hinting at De Bruyne his role in city's strategy Guardiola's words seem to signal that while there might have been a disagreement it was all in the spirit of pushing the team forward in the aftermath Despite the visible tension there was a reconciliatory moment as Guardiola and De Bruyne shared a hug on the pitch Guardiola reiterated that there was no problem between them and
that they were fine The incident served as a reminder of the intensity and passion that often accompanies top tier football matches where emotions can run high even among the best of teammates and coaches

@leftsideanalog

Can't they just let him talk

@999peep

Did Pep really want to create a mental gap in the team where KDB, after a long injury, proved that he really helps his team?

@desertrock1036

Come on ! KDB was clearly frustrated at the loss of team discipline for a period in the second half! Body language was not because he was subbed off! At no stage did I see that he was angry to be subbed off! …but rather expressing his disappointment with the team in general!

City were outplayed and Debruyne was in Endos pocket while Macalister was bossing the midfield. City were defending and praying for their lives 2nd half while getting absolutely spanked

@goIdfishgamer

Pep sticking his bald head in the players game. Pep has become my least favorite coach in the last few years. He gets wayyy too much credit for a guy managing the most expensive team out there

@Edibloke

Pep : Kevin is white , he has blue eyes and we little Spaniards we love people with blonde hair when we substitute them we have to apologise to them. I will make sure he will play the full match next game.
