Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on YouTube, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on YouTube. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on YouTube, and recently just figured "why not?", so itโs time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educated and give my feedback on the song and artists.

what's up YouTube so we've made it to the
not the final I don't know I was gonna say final we've made it to the Pink Floyd Animals
they hid in forgotten album by critical reacts that almost got away but comment section was
like boy you better get animals on this dang channel so we're here with animals I think
I'm gonna do Pigs on the Wing and then the dogs uh tracks and I think if I researched
it correctly that might wrap up side one so I'm only gonna do that on this reaction and
uh I think it's
about three tracks in on this reaction so let's go ahead and get started
man I've heard some things so my brother told me a little bit about Pink Floyd as far because
I started telling him I was reacting to him like brother I was so lost man I should have
listened to them a long time ago and he's like yeah you know but animals man I could
have done without that one so he's not a troop pink floydian uh but he is definitely more
well-versed in this period of music than I ever have been um so I wa
s excited to tell
him he wasn't a fan of this album let's see what I'm thinking about it I hope he didn't
plant a seed in here man let's go ahead and see what we think about Pink Floyd and uh
was this the was this an album done without Richard Wright I know somebody told me he
was fired I read that comment today and I was surprised because that's the first I had
heard about it so let me stop talking let's get into this one [Music] now a lot of y'all said this is your
favorite album if you didn't
care [Music] what happened to me and I didn't care [Music] for you foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] Pigs on the Wing I like the sound
of that one it was very short about a minute something let me go ahead and pull up the
lyrics while we get started here okay so far we've got two acoustic intros
I'm digging that I'm digging that [Music] crazy you gotta have a real need gotta sleep on your toes you're on the streets
you got to be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed then mo
ving silently down you've got to strike
when the moment Is Right without thinking and after a while like a club time [Music] being trusted by the people that you like
to okay [Music] okay that was a that was a very ironic kind of sequence of words um talking
about you know you need to um kind of learn how to play the game like they're playing
it so that the people that you lie to when they turn their back on you can put the knife
into it but that's almost like to me saying you're no better than
they are right you're
becoming them you need to learn how to become them so when they do you dirty you can Strike
Back but you he's making it sound like you're dirty as well so interesting a totally not
sounding like the Pink Floyd I'm used to yet uh but I do like the acoustic and it sounds
something more relatable I think it's a modern era some music I've heard uh within this time
frame you know it's it's uh let's let's keep it going [Music] [Music] I believe [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Mu
sic] you wind up just like the rest of
them huh [Music] hey we saw some keys in there [Music] slowing
it down a little bit [Music] [Applause] I love their switch-ups man I love the mood
shifts that they give you [Music] [Applause] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] what what [Music] that's crisp guitar it sounds so good I love Acoustics oh yeah [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Applause] yeah make that thing tough man [Music] foreign [Music] oh yeah man that was nice that was
real nice so you know
the beginning was a little different Temple but I love their mood
switches man I I think Pink Floyd is the kings of bipolar music because they make you feel
about four emotions throughout a track man you're you're sad you're angry you're calm
you're happy you're grooving and then you're sad again like jeez man very nice that was
that was a great switch [Music] closed captioning not available [Music] [Music] [Music] huh [Music] I don't feel like that's
a little self-reflection [Music] [Applause]
they'll have a good drown as you go down all
alone drag down by the stone and he's talking about the weight that you use to throw yourself
around the way you need bossy controlling that's gonna be the downfall of you [Music]
[Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] it to me this is a different Pink Floyd sound
than what I've experienced so far but to me it's not bad so not of yet I don't agree with
my brother yet but it definitely sounds different [Music] the fade in [Music] thank you [Music] [App
lause] [Music] [Applause]
[Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] s a little Incorporated here [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] thank you here we go [Music] this strumming reminds me of another
Pink Floyd song is it the Wall Part Two [Music] sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being
used [Music] [Music] stop right you just keep watching [Music] so this song uh according to these uh songwriter
titles or whatever you call them uh where they give credit songwriting credits it
says
uh David Gilmore and Roger Waters so I don't know who contributed to what parts of the
lyrics but sometimes they you know the stories I've heard maybe they sound like a little
bit of self-reflection from uh Roger let me know I could be totally off base [Music] to do me twice [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right Yeah man they do a lot of
musical breaks in this so it's pretty pretty cool [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [A
pplause] thank you foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] kill the fan it was too much to do [Music]
all right [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music]
[Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so right there just sounded like a lot of uh that the person they were speaking about in
the song was mistreated uh is kind of the tail end of that song that I understood is
you know who was mistreated abused treated badly um broken and decided to leav
e the pack
right um find their own way out of the maze as he said earlier so it does feel kind of
like a I don't know I don't know if it's a tell of two stories between part one and part
two of dogs or if it's just one big continuation of the same experience experience you know
at the beginning sounded like it could be kind of like either a business ordeal or uh
just learn how to deal with Shady people sometimes you got to be dirty when you're dealing with
dirty people to a transitional period o
f kind of um I'm taking for granted I'm misused um
they don't see they just put me down they don't see the good side of me they don't Let
Me Shine out and then at the tail end about just being mistreated and having to separate
yourself from those who are mistreating you so that's kind of what I got from that song
uh now I know some people have said this is kind of loosely based off the George Orwell
book is it animal farm maybe which I didn't ever read but I I understood uh what some
of that is
about and I think it was mainly about political side of things especially
with like Stalin um during that era um so yeah I don't know complex man I don't know
if that's more about that or if this is more about personal experience so fill me in on
that man um definitely not the traditional Pink Floyd sound I've been accustomed to to
uh so far but not a bad sounding set of tracks there to me at all uh I enjoyed it I liked
it myself so I can't wait to see what the next part of this album is going t
o be like
that's going to be I'm excited for that experience as well so it's it's been fun to me to dabble
in these albums and just see a difference in each one so appreciate that man thanks
for the suggestions here hopefully I did that one Justice and did that one right and I'm
Gonna Catch You guys on the next go around later

There are some of us that consider Dogs their best song, or at least top 5. I am one of those people. Itโs not for everyone.
Dogs are symbolic of cutthroat ruthless business men who are left with nothing to show for it in the end in terms of a meaningful life. Richard Wright is very much a part of this album. That's him on synthesizers and hammond, he's even making some of the dog barking sounds with his keyboard in the second flurry of dog barks. Also harmonizing with Dave on vocals. Richard was having personal issues at the time and was not contributing the kind of original compositions he's known for, but he is still very much part of this album.
Animals is my go to Pink Floyd album, easily my favourite of their materpieces. The blend of satirical biting lyrics, stellar guitar playing, masterful bass lines and amazing synth work is unparalelled. The vocals and background fx compliment an already stellar album, it all comes together beautifully. This album is (in my opinion) Pink Floyd at the peak of their powers. The combination of blues and psychadelia has never been bettered, it feels hyphnotic and chilled out...perfect. Thanks for reacting to this amazing album. Cheers.
Dogs is far and away Pink Floyd's single greatest masterpiece.
The album is based on George Orwell's Animal Farm. It's their best one by a long shot.
Some of Rick's finest key work is on this. There is a new remastering of this out that really shines a light on the brilliant contribution he makes to this record in 'key' spots. The stone theme is about how dogs were put to death by drowning when they are no longer useful to their masters.
Richard is still on this album, some of his best work in my opinion. He plays some on The Wall too but Roger hired lots of people to play on The Wall so Richard didnโt contribute as much. He did The Wall live shows but was considered a hired musician at that time, and that continued until the late 80s. Even on their โcomebackโ album Momentary Lapse of Reason he wasnโt a full fledged member in the recording but he became a full member again shortly after.
To me Dogs is one of PF best songs Pigs and Sheep are cool too
The Animals album is loosely based on George Orwell's book "Animal Farm", a story about political collectivism, the "Dogs" are the enforcers of the society and do the bidding of The "Pigs". The "Pigs" are the rulers of the dictatorship, the ones with all the power, and they use the Dogs to keep the people in line Finally, the people are the "Sheep". They are the regular everyday people, and The Stone, (which PF references in other albums), is Life. "Animals" is one of my favorite Pink Floyd albums, and David Gilmours' guitar work is genius, as always, he wrote and plays ALL the guitar work on this album, as he does on all Pink Floyd studio albums. Dave Gilmour sings the first part of the song, (before the spacey middle part), and Roger Waters sings the final section. Animals was released in 1977, after their "Wish You Were Here album in 1975, which was after their epic "Dark Side Of The Moon" album in 1975. Three great albums in a row in, 1973, 1975, and 1977, made them all multimillionaires!
Your brother is crazy. Animals is the best Floyd album
My favorite Pink Floyd album....
Pink Floyd didn't write short songs so they would be played on the radio like pretty much everyone else . Only a few bands can not be put into a style because so unique , no other bands sounds like them Pink Floyd and the Doors is another
My favorite, Pink Floyd album, by far
You will see the theme of, or reference to, "the stone" throughout Floyd's catalog. "The bad blood slows and turns to stone." Its all the animosity, jealousy, hatred, etc, that pulls us down.
As with your earlier Pink Floyd reactions, I really enjoy this one. Are you aware we have now two versions of this album, because last year a remastered and remixed version has been released. It was scheduled to be reased years earlier, but there were some personal issues beteween certain bandmembers that delayed the whole thing. Anyway, with remix I mean a totally new mix of the original recordings. The original album had been recorded in their then new studio. Before, they recorded at Abbey Road. This album has a more down to earth feel because of that? But the sound of their 1977 release isn't as crisp as their previous albums. With the '2018 remix" they sorted that out. Big time! It must be said. The new release is a masterfully produced album. It outshines its predaccesor, but it also takes away a bit of magic from the oldschool recordingstyle. So I am happy to have both versions. They do not fight each other off. The new mix has some real good features with Nicks drums kicking so much more up front and Rick's keys are just fingerlicking sharp. With the vocaltracks they made some peculiar changes. Reverbs are added or taken away in places. Immediately noticable on Pigs On The Wing. This gives a rather unpleasant experience at some critical moments. But this may be the result of listening to the first version for over 40 years! Overall the album has matured. The good thing is a whole new albumcover has been designed, but with the familiar London location: Battersea Powerstation as a startingpoint.
Animals is probably my favorite Floyd album. It's often cited as the "overlooked" album. So much so, that it's very well known. My 2nd favorite album is the true forgotten gem and absolutely worth your time. "Obscured By Clouds" came between "Meddle" and Darkside, and was kind of left behind. Don't miss it. ๐
My favorite album. Used to listen to it on all night replay using a cd.
Pink Floyd beats you mercilessly with deliberate subtlety
Animals is my favorite album by Pink Floyd?!!๐ด๐ด๐ด๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐๐๐๐
I was seven years old and my sister brought animals home. I heard her listening to it through her bedroom door. I have never heard something so beautifully perfect in my short life when she left, I put the album on and listen to it again and again and again I will let you know when I stop listening to it. Hopefully I can take it with me.
