an open world opj that is to say it has a primary uh how do I put this um all of the storyline barriers have been removed and you're able to go anywhere where anytime you want the whole idea is it takes the um gather the badges go to the Elite 4 uh fight the super bosses uh kind of like background story and it makes it the primary story and so there are things going on in the background of course you know uh new areas things like that but for the most part all you need to know is that the badge
uh sorry the um all the gems and trainers the world scale to your badge count and as a result you can kind of um go wherever you want uh whenever you want and we are quite far in the game as you can see we are 62 hours in we've got uh half the badges in jotto and all the badges in kto and we went to the Elite 4 and they kicked our ass so rather than getting more Badges and scale King the game up any higher we're going to go refight old gems and challenge super bosses probably challenge super bos
ses later and then when we feel confident we're high enough level we'll go and fight the Elite 4 but the most effective way to level up is to refight Old gems uh what now what what are you talking about there we go okay so let let's get going oh yeah and then if there's time later I'll probably uh take a break after dinner and play hell divers because I'm obsessed with that game right now the trainers of this gym use rock type Pokemon we're rechallenging Brock's gym yes [Music] exactly oh we put

entation ready to go let's see here okay so as you can see there are 30 different starters you can choose from there's character customization uh the four story elements have been removed uh certain areas been reworked you know the the the way the magnet train and fast faery work are different there's a house key to go to your home uh many gameplay changes many glitch fixes battling has changed there are specific battle uh types and areas Overworld trainers have different rules roaming trainers
have different rules um that you can decorate your player home uh there are uh various quality of life changes how the decks has been reworked other uh other changes um you know different modes a border for super Game Boy if you're using super Game Boy [Music] all kinds of different things the documentation is quite large yes uh how does it make sense that grass is super effective to rocks so what happens is when grass grows into a rock The Roots actually kind of burrow their way into the Rock a
nd um uh what do you what do you call it uh destroy the like cause the rock to crack and break right it's the natural order of things accelerated by the magic of stupid uh um monsters yes they basically wanted to make rock paper scissors uh uh uh lizard Spock and uh they accomplished that with uh some very uh rudimentary thinking [Music] yes r on [Music] crazy yep Leaf [Music] go good our goal at this gym is to level up Bulba and we're doing that the best we can Pokemon uh mystery dungeon yes ev

stats the hidden stats are all 15s my entire team has all 15s however I've made absolutely no effort to boost their P to like select uh special powers for them I have made no effort on the special power front only the old 15s front I had to pick my battles uh so to speak in order to complete this in a reasonable amount of time reasonable okay but my entire team has all 15s that is something I did do yes reasonable with big air quotes considering I've been at this for 62 hours okay oh jeez let's

not great I uh I've been putting off an update for a couple weeks now you know another couple weeks I'll I'll go through with the update right Windows wants to control when you can update I hate that I really hate that and so that's really that was the trigger that made me switch was my inability to control um my goodness uh info so I use uh KDE neon which is the um it's basically auntu long-term support running the latest KD Suite of applications on top of it I uh haven't moved up to KD 6 uh 6

to the Combat tutorial you should get up the next morning and do the Combat tutorial again and again and again and by the fifth or sixth time you should be pretty effective in combat because you trained up but Henry isn't going to instantly get good at combat just because you the player do better inputs that's not how it works [Music] it's an RPG with an emphasis on its systems first and foremost Kingdom Come Deliverance so it's more like maroin than it is Skyrim yes yeah hand waggling is just

t to say that the Devolution I sorry there's a um there's a mod for Diablo 1 called the um called Bobb and it's uh pretty famous in the sense that it uh kind of adds Diablo 2 elements there's also a um another famous mod called the hell 2 which operates more like Diablo 1 but adds in new elements that weren't in Diablo I just kind of uh like revolutionizes the way you can kind of do classes and game modes and stuff it's really cool the hell 3 is in production right now for Diablo 1 I'm I'm super
excited about that but um in addition to bezel buub um hold on uh let me me pull it up so in addition to bezel buub there is also a uh techno blog or whatever the hell it's called um is being worked on right now and uh it had an update as of January 1st that's how recent uh the Diablo 1 multiplayer uh HD mod um was worked on so if you wanted to play Diablo one in multiplayer with all kinds of new um new changes uh you can probably check that one out it's uh it's based on it uses Diablo I as lik
e a foundation for a lot of its features but but it's uh it's built around multiplayer so it makes the game harder as well uh I linked it in uh chat there um but yeah it's got a lot of Diablo I like features in Diablo 1 uh it got sandwiched uh between uh yeah that's fine cool we are set then uh everything looks good to go yeah yeah we're set okay button [Music] the grass yes this should do it I believe this is where we were supposed to be earlier going to save [Music] here [Music] mhm yep phone

here because as cool as this is I do actually have other things I have to do in real life so my goal I don't know if I'm going to accomplish this goal but um I figured next week Monday I'm going to try to start the yellow fight and see if there are any other super bosses I can beat before we refight the Elite 4 but um I might just try to get everyone to 70 before the Elite 4 refight cuz the Elite 4 has been causing us some real trouble um as for today I'm going to go uh hang out with the wife a
nd uh be otherwise unavailable for the next hour hour or two maybe three uh when I get back I'm probably going to be playing something stupid and different so um keep an eye out for that assuming I don't fall asleep bye everybody it was a fun like 4 and 1 half hours of [Music] pokman
