Reacting To Crazy Science Experiments

can we make science happen with only our minds let's talk about that [Music] Good Mythical summer we are ancient and internet years but we keep our bodies fit by eating junk on the internet multiple days a week and we keep our brains fit by thinking really hard about science experiments that would be a crap ton easier if we just used instructions it's time for science without guidance featuring the beaker boys but hello Beaker boys here's how this goes each round you'll have 10 minutes to use so

me combination of the items in front of you to achieve a surprising scientific result there are some decoy items to throw you off as well and you can use lifelines to help you along the way but they're gonna cost you some points every time you use them they are as follows a message from science Michaela about a scientifical scientifical principle at Play It's cost one point I reveal a decoy item this costs two points per decoy item how do you feel about being cheaper than Stevie's I'm okay with

it okay you're a deal you're a steal yeah or I vaguely tell you what result you're trying to achieve for three points and you'll have 30 points at your disposal and if you manage not to use all of them you will receive actual Beaker boys as a prize really are you ready well of course can I just point out we have to raise these boys this is a lot like how actual science in a real University Research universities happen they've got decoy items here you go they can ask for vague hints oh you want m

e to go ahead and glove up I mean they've given it to us and there is this torch here and I am going to use that okay so this round has two decoy items 10 minutes on the clock good luck your time starts now I mean this is this is a murder device this is a lead pipe I need one literally from clue my bed uh a jawbreaker well you know what I'm doing with that um the largest set of tweezers ever shall I you want me to get some of the unibrow oh no I don't mind stop mine quit growing right it looks l

ike you looks like you got yours I still have to get mine um we have a a little square of it's a teeny screen for a little store a little screen door a little screen because if you if you put that screen we could put that screen on the top of the thing and then we've got baking soda science is favorite powder and um of course we have fire okay I'm not gonna burn it all so see we know that the fire is not a d it can't be a decoy item I mean fire fire is too far is necessary we've melted a jawbrea

ker before I think it's fun let's just but do you want to do it on top of it but then there's and if you can you burn baking soda what happens with that and then if you put the pipe with the with the screen what that would like sift something I bet you the pipe is a decoy all right what's the decoy eye it's expensive you do not need the baking soda oh okay well there you go all right and there's one more of those come on man now we can start trying things yeah let's just you want to put it on th

e pipe and then burn it so everybody sees it it's like a pedestal I mean I don't want to if I heat up the pipe then it's gonna be hot well I gotta grab it I got gloves I don't have gloves yeah you do I mean I haven't but I don't have them on whoa why do you have the gloves on huh see that well it's fun I don't know if it's science but it's fun now I bet you a hundred dollars if you turn that upside down that ball is gonna stay there that didn't work well sorry let's bring Michaela in come on she

is I'm putting this in there it's making like a I don't know what it's doing it doesn't seem like that would be doing anything blow into it like a trumpet as you blow into it okay I'm gonna heat the pipe we've got chappie our resident photographer telling us no you are the heat I don't know was that you were the Heat it was me it was you oh that stink okay we have to get the scientific principle we got to get the thing from TV we have to get the information we know it's a sound this result is so

we were looking for look how cool it is I will tell you who did get it and that is Caitlyn oh so she did use that oh when she folded it I did that look at that you did that oh I was on the right track [Music] oh she shoved it [Music] yeah so it makes a read I was completely right but I had no idea so here's how it works the blow torch rapidly heats the heavy gauge metal screen inside of the pipe as the hot air rises cool air begins to be pulled up through the pipe the air moving through the pipe

vibrates the middle screen which leads to Resonance inside the pipe causing the pipe to sing like an organ but like a really hard to try thank you oh that thing's hot yeah okay [Music] your lifelines are the same there are still two decoy items and your time starts now we got some water it's just to stay hydrated we've got some bubbles we've got a can of Coke we've got string that's already tied and I didn't what a loop a loop and then you can well that's a bubble maybe you can put that's a bub

ble maker waiting to happen try that and then we have straws four of them four straws so I bet you we can can you make a long straw with that and then finally we have a Penny uh this one has a Lincoln on it Penny feels like a thing that doesn't matter bubbles I mean pennies don't even throw up the penny anymore try to try to try to even see if you can make a bubble with the uh with the ring there I mean I have to think you can here pour some of this in the tray well the tree's not part of it so

they we can't oh you're just saying to get rid of it no no so I can dip it because it's I can't you can't I can't get the whole thing wet well then but that that that's the wrong track then because it we can't use a tray for like part of this experiment can we use the trailer for part of the experiment you may yeah well you can't I'm saying we of course we can but we shouldn't because the tray is always here yeah but the Tray's always there all right fine so I'm just saying this is this is the w

ay that I can actually get the thing completely wet and see yeah it's just like you got to have like a something to like get it why would there be if you tied the pin I don't think then he's part of it like blowing a bubble under water way too much dick would be really cool way too much dexterity I'm gonna suck up some of this blowing a bubble underwater it's just gonna be a bubble underwater look at that yeah all right we did it I think we got a lot actually we got more we got what we needed fr

om Michaela's uh hint last time yeah and it's cheap and it was a bit she's not cheap so okay let's get that because I think that helps us establish what's a decoy ah gosh taste this I just wanted you to know how bad it is yeah I trust you okay things can seem really tense on the surface but that's not necessarily A Bad Thing tense on the surface so surface tension is what we're dealing with surface tension so we want to pour water and now we've got bubbly water which is probably a problem we can

get you a refill we'll see right I think we need another water oh there's so much attention we can build a we can that's cool I don't know uh and then we did that one I think we got to get a decoy uh we gotta get it give us a decoy you do not need the coke yeah yeah what if you put the string inside the straw and then it like um this is this is tough how do you do this can you tell us whether or not your uh your hint is going to be helpful or not because it wasn't last time it is going to be he

lpful this time actually I feel like we got to get it all right we'll spend three points on it making a circle in a square is tricky but not impossible making a circle in a square the only way to make a square is with the four straws that's the only thing I think a square bubble making this we're trying to make a cube bubble oh you know what these straws have joints and then what you do is you can make a square we're making a bubble wand bro and I don't think we need the penny if we don't need t

he penny then why do we need this I think this here put this around it before you connect it all together so that we can hold it by this that might be true and pick it up and then blow it and then we don't need this but if we don't need the penny then we do need the water what did she say making a square in a circle yes huh reverse making a circle in a square where's the thing where's the string right here put it on there right there okay making a circle in a square is I think it's basically mak

ing a bubble with a square and then we're going to take this it's actually but then right how do we use the penny if we're not using the water if solution gets into eyes rinse immediately with water that's why we need the water we just want to mix it up a little bit you know since when the this is not say concentrate look see look there's a square bubble okay and now and I'm gonna blow it to the penny oh yes that's a that's a circle from a square made a circle from the square jerks but but we di

th a square see and I was trying to do that oh my gosh oh my gosh we have to do it link we have to do it now but hold on the PIN the pin was not it could be your finger it could be your finger I'll do it by finger so the science behind what you're going to attempt now is when you place a loop of string on a plane of soap and pop the inside of the circle the surface tension of the soap pulls at the edges of the string until the string has nowhere else to go once it's pulled taut it forms a perfec

t circle so yeah all you got to do is just get it on there without it folding over right which I can totally do like uh it's hard to pick up is there a bubble on this just use this you use it we have it oh oh there we go oh you got the string on on it the extra string is leaning on it I think that's okay and then this string oh gosh remind a good mythical evening is coming out real fast it's gonna get wild it's going to get crazy it's gonna be unhinged we're going to be plastered drunken crunk w

robably wrong um let's we want to I bet you if you make this super cold something crazy happens okay so this is like this is like homemade ice cream but typically it rotates yeah you gotta you put it in there and I'll rotate okay I think you should cut it and then drizzle all of the globe into it so there's three decoys and then you don't need the salt carbonated beverages are always decoys isn't that poison stupid question yeah all right so just put it on the ice oh it's a gel maybe if I cut bo

th ends and blow uh just don't suck uh all right so hold on something happening new glow stick please I feel like maybe that didn't work before we get it's all it's always more helpful to get the principal before you get this yes Stevie what's up three points you're looking for a way to inflate the balloon without blowing it up yourself well let's just shake a Sprite and put a balloon on it but we need to get rid of three other things so yeah but put it in there we need a decoy don't need an eye

flush you do not need the glow stick oh yeah yeah she was like it's probably non-toxic these days kids are crazy well I was told to tell you don't get it on your skin and don't consume it so you got it so in the eye stash in your eye I mean salt come on oh it's too late salt and Sprite makes volcano no no I got I got it I got it figured it out what salt in the balloon oh I need you to put two fingers in there make a big hole for Daddy salt and then turn that over into this and okay so okay all

right so you at this point you listen to me you put so you put it on there without turning it over you just get it on there don't get any salt in it okay so now okay now it's good then we just take this and we just lift it like this oh look at that yes yes it's gonna pass it's gonna get along fine don't let it get on the market it's not gonna Buzz it's not gonna bust oh oh look at it look at what we do look look how does bubbles you hear that noise the beaker boys this is the sound of Winnie we
