black Joy is a tapestry W by belly my name is Jonathan King and I Am The Pianist in this project titled show me the way the album was born out of our desire to celebrate American female composers so there are tons of commissions five commission composers I'm really proud of all of them let's talk about Jonathan King Jonathan Michael King John and I you know I think we started working together my junior year we did a recital so that was 2008 so that would put us at about 15 years he's my favorite
collaborator of all time and we're going to continue making programs and working together one of those you know lifetime sort of things I think what's really cool about this season of Our Lives is recognizing that we have the ability to take this tight-knit friendship and musical collab ation in a much broader way with other people and that brings us both a ton of Joy being able to commission artists being able to bring in other singers to do Duets whatever that's been a special kind of new sea
son in our musical [Music] relationship
