hey gems in this video I am doing the invisible  locks or invisible braids or invisible twist kamikaze twist whatever you want to call it two  strand twist Barrel twist there so many names out there but um I'm starting off with pre parting  sectioning off um my son AKA client's hair simply because this helps me understand how I'm going to  lay the invisible braid so with his hair it's not like the other hairstyle that I'll show you guys  in the corner it's a little different it's going to be bra
id twist combination so it's kind of  like a pattern in the back row you'll see later um you'll see me do braid it and then braid  it together and then you'll see me do twist and then twist together so I hope that makes  sense right now you can just see right here I am just trying to even out and make sure I am  proportioning each section properly so it can all look asymmetrical it can look clean and  Polished once I do start doing the hairstyle I'm not cleaning up the parts with braiding gel  w
hile I'm section sectioning it simply because things can change and I just don't want to  have an excessive amount of product on his head so you won't see me using any braiding gel  or anything like that while I'm pre parting pre mapping pre anything and I think that when you  do a hairstyle with design is important to leave some type of map out to how you're going to do it  just to make sure that once you do start the insa it just makes it go smoothly and everything lays  the way it needs to be
laid um I'm starting off at the top I'm looking straight down the middle  and then you see I'm cutting that in half and then I'm just going around and in the end total  I think he had at least five rows or four rows to be exact um either way that's just the way that I  like to do it but I think it's a great timesaver when you do map out and pre-art your Styles and  it just helps the process go a lot smoothly so yeah that's pretty much what I'm doing right now  if you haven't already please hit
that subscribe button hit that notification Bell so you know  when I'm posting I also have a playlist for um men hairstyles in case you need some inspiration  or ideas and you want to know how to do certain hairstyles it's for boys or anyone to be honest  you can do any style on anyone I've done this style on my daughter before if you want to see a  video of me doing that please let me know in the comments below I do want to throw out invisible  lock tutorial for the girlies with the barrel at t
he bottom but right now we're focusing on the  boys also comment if you have any hairstyle ideas you want me to try on a guy or a girl girl it  doesn't really matter and yeah I'm just going to continue mapping out and pre- parting and  then I'll get started on actually styling the [Music] [Music] [Applause] style [Music] of course I'm not not doing the whole  repetitive look so I have done some twist and Rays already in the back as you can see and  now I'm at the top I figure you guys will get a
better view from the top than in the back and I  am starting it off with parting um I believe this is going to be a Twist this whole section is going  to be a Twist and then the other section will be a braid but you want to make sure you clean up them  Parts make sure them parts are crispy one thing about your girl is I will part and part and part  until I think it is crispy you do use a generous amount of braiding gel um simply because it helps  to stay in place when doing a Twist especially o
n my son's type of hair um he has like a 3A 3B hair  texture so us doing the twist was kind of like um we didn't know how it would last and how it would  do later I did turn his twist into braids off camera because we did see that it wasn't staying  like my other son's hair texture did which is a couple grades different than his but more curlier  his is a more of a straight more relaxed curl so yeah but as you can see right here I am fixing  up some stuff it's okay to go in and modify what you'r
e doing but yeah I did use a generous  amount of pure neat braid everything used in this hairstyle will be in the description box below so  you'll know what I use but yeah I did have to use a generous amount of braiding gel especially  not so much on the braided sections but more so on the twisted the twisting sections simply  because of his hair texture um I wouldn't say I I wouldn't recommend or not or would recommend  this hairstyle I think that either way you just have to know the person's h
air texture and just  know if it will last the amount of time that you want it to last um T typically the boys keep their  hair in for about 2 to three weeks um but for it to last longer I did turn his Twist Again into  braids but that was after probably like several days after wearing the style we really did like  the twist but he just knew his hair he knew like to last two weeks like the other styles he have it  it wouldn't have lasted if I wouldn't have braided this particular part into a bra
id so yeah but you  can see right here the twist turned out great and it does turn out great it's just his hair texture  tends to not want to make love in a sense as what as my other son it stayed for the entirety so  just think about that when you're getting this [Applause] hairstyle [Applause] oh [Music] oh right here I am sectioning off the next section  which is like I said the braided cornrows going into one braid I wanted to change the style up a  little bit and just do something different
I hope you guys like the way it turned out but yeah I'm  just cleaning up the parts and I'm just starting it you don't really need a lot of product when it  comes to the braided part as I said before simply because braids are more formed than twist twist  twisties in a sense so yeah and I'm just cleaning it up and I'm just going to start braiding once I  detangle make sure it's all good and I'm starting the cornrow I did decide to always do the right  cornrow first as you can see as I did with
the twist I don't know why for me that just works  better I do the right side first and then when I do the left side it's just easier for me to  add in maybe because that's my adding side um when I say add add in I mean just when I braid  in general rather it's knotless or anything like that I always braid in from my right so that's  probably why I always did the right side braid first and then did the left so it could go into  the right I hope that all makes sense if you get what I'm saying lea
ve a comment below if you  don't just ask again and maybe I can describe it a little bit better but I always go in  when I'm blending in anything on my right [Music] side [Music] oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh [Music] [Applause] he [Music] make sure you secure all the ends with rubber  bands do not do it too tight you can't break off the person's hair um but yeah even with the  rubber bands on the twist it still did not hold like my other son's hair did on his hairstyle  which I have a vide
o of make sure you go check that out it will be either in the description  below or it'll be on my screen but yeah you can check out how to do invisible locks the entire  head from that video um let me know if me coming in halfway through works for you guys as far as  tutorials instead of coming in from the beginning all the way to the end I tend to think that  showing the same repetitive movement over and over and over can be a little bit redundant so if  you would like to see that and it works
for you just let me know in the comments and as you can  see I did twist then bra and now I'm doing twist again for this section and that is pretty much  how the entire hairstyle is you want to make sure as you twist you are combing or detangling you  don't want it to be Tangled as you're twisting [Music] in [Music] [Music] [Music] n [Music] a [Music] 0:12:58.840,1193:02:47.295 [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] a [Music] w 0:14:58.680,1193:02:47.295 [Music] [Music] oh [Mus
ic] w [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Laughter] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] see [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] once I am done with this  hairstyle I am spraying it with the G2b holding spray it helps keep everything in place  specifically because his hair texture is a looser curl then I go in with the blue magic and just  make sure I oil the scalp and then I'm gonna go in with some mousse surely thereafter just to make  sure everything's set in place and moisturized [Music] [Music]
properly [Music] and here is the hairstyle  if you want to see a closer look look at my shorts and you should see a  display of exactly how it looks again thanks for watching check out the next  video and all my shorts peace and hair grease
