[Music] there are a few places in the world that embrace pop culture and subculture quite like Japan and here in Tokyo you can drive right into that culture and explore the city not by foot by bus but by maricar it's very important to get an international driver's permit from home as you'll be driving on the streets of Tokyo all right time to get suited up [Music] we make sure that everything is safe all the cars are well maintained and the first five minutes you may get a little bit nervous but
you'll get used to it and then after that it's all fun and games so our guide leads us through the streets we stop at stoplights we turn we're going along with regular traffic I don't feel scared out here because we have our trusty guide to lead the way check out the rules of Tokyo going over Rainbow Bridge and then looking out over the Tokyo Bay I think that was my favorite I was definitely pretty fun Roppongi this tour is so much more than just driving in a go-kart you're also seeing the city
iconic sites like the Tokyo Tower this is the famous Shibuya crossing so many people are crossing in all directions because the good cops are so low to the ground you feel absolute everything and just to see the science from that angle is just amazing as we're trying to the streets it's amazing how excited people are to see us waving at us taking pictures I feel like a celebrity [Music] Japan is known for being fun and quirky and Maricar is exactly that so when you come to Tokyo you have to tak

Recently I contacted with them and they told me they are not offering nintendo costume anymore. I will go to tokyo soon and I want to do this dressed as Super Mario. This all cool when you look at it but imagine this during the summer under a scorching sun (nearly 40 degrees C). Plus all the exhaust hitting in your face cuz the kart level is where the exhausts are at.

It doesn't matter any more as its shut down. It would be no fun anyway for those of us that don't have a drivers licence. Something you couldn't do together as partners if one of you doesn't drive. Any as said it's now shut down as others on here have stated so doesn't matter.

What impact does this have on the people of Tokyo? Because I think its Tourists that brought Mario Kart on the street. I dont advise any tourist to drive on the streets of another country unless you know the country for sure. Other than that looks really fun. I would personally try it if it doesn't bother Tokyo residents
