Ash from Icelandic volcanic
eruption made landfall with Northern Ireland during
the night bringing with it
travel chaos. Experts have never seen
anything on this scale. The eruption of 2010 is a
blip in comparison. The
ferocity of the rupture
coupled with the unusual atmospheric pressure means
this cloud is denser and
dispersing at a much
slower rate than any before. All commercial and private
flights have been grounded... Glad we're not going anywhere. Scrabble rematch? That is, if you're

day off. My only day off. I... I understand. Of course I need the money
but there must be someone else. Everyone is sick? Just a moment Dubbed on social media as
"ash fever," the ash cloud
is now being linked to illness across the province
with hundreds of people
reporting fever like symptoms. Mrs. O'Day, we'll
call him and fix lunch. Don't touch the cooker. I'll be home in the afternoon. Stay indoors until then. Lock the doors... There's been

reached capacity. Anyone showing symptoms
should stay in their homes and
await further instructions. Let me in. Not by the hairs of
my chinny-chin-chin. Well, there are no
hairs on that wee chin. Don't be in a hurry
to get any neither. I won't Mrs. O'Day. Stay young Zoltar. Zoran, Mrs. O'Day. Whatever. As people attempt
to leave the city, Police are advising against
all unnecessary road travel. The First Minister has asked
for the public to remain
calm as t

combat the outbreak. Never any good news Zoro. I don't know. A drop of ash in the air. And the whole world goes mad. Any biscuits? Couple more columns
Zumba, and then we know
if I'm alive or not. Are these biscuits off? You're a good boy Zoran. We're experiencing a
high volume of calls

O'Day, she's very sick.
Burning up. Coughing. Your neighbor, does
she have any secretions? Black gunk coming from her

to get away from her right now. Mrs. O'Day? You're sick. Mom? Can you hear me? If you're there, please answer. Zorin, I'm coming home. I love y... Mom is coming. We'll get away.
Mom is coming. We'll get away. Mom is coming. We'll get away.
Mom is coming. We'll get away. Mom is coming. We'll get away. Mom is coming. We'll get away. Open up! It's mom! Zorin! Open up! Zoran, open up. Zoran, it's me. It's mom. Zoran? Let me in? Mom! Zoran. Zoran, what are
you doing? Open up for me. I'm not safe mom. I don't care. Open the door Zoran. Open the door. Please! I'm not safe. OPEN THE DOOR! PLEASE! Open the door! (dramatic clank) (distant humming traffic)
(distant siren wailing) (pattering footsteps) (door creaks) (knocker bangs) (Carlos knocks) (door creaks) (door rattling) - Hey, I'm--
- Name. - I was told to come
to this address-- - Name. - Carlos Ramirez. Junior, just call me Junior. I, (sighs) look, this isn't
a hoax or anything, is it? Look, I m
et this guy, he gave
me this card, he didn't-- - Gimme the card. 2,500. - It's nice, this place. (quiet, suspenseful music) It's trending, you know,
that old ghost house style-- - Would you please stop talking? I've lost count, I
have to start again. (quiet, suspenseful music) - [Carlos] Sorry. - Take off your
jacket and your shirt and your pants and
socks and shoes. The more skin contact,
the better your chances. (loud bang) (Carlos sighs) (thumping footsteps) (creaking, distorted music) Relax,
(tinny thumping) have a seat. (creaking, distorted music) (bed creaks quietly) Are you here for the high? Most do it for the high. - Yeah. Yup, I'm here for the high. Who's Riley? - My son. (creaking, distorted music) Swallow, just a little. (quiet, suspenseful music) - Did he survive? - No, he was pre-vaccine. - I'm sorry. - Everyone lost someone. Open your mouth. (brush quietly swishing) - How old was he? - Six. Don't spit, swallow. Now lay down. (bed creaks quietly) - [Carlos] You must miss
him. - Roll around in the sheets. (bed creaking) Now stand up. You remind me of him. - Is that why you chose me? The guy who set
this up, he said, he said you were picky, and that he sent
you a picture of me and said it was
part of the pro-- - The incubation period is
approximately 10 minutes. (timer clicks) If you would, please,
follow me to the attic. (quiet, suspenseful music)
(Carlos breaths nervously) - I don't know if I can do this. - Why are you here? - I told you, I'm
here for the high.
Look I, I don't
know, it's weird. - It's always weird. - (sighs) I lost my boy too. And my wife. She had gotten sick
and we didn't know and she turned. (quiet, humming music) She attacked my, she attacked my son. (mutters) I hate her. (shuddering) I try not to. I thought maybe
if, (breaths deeply) I could feel what she felt
then I could understand. I could forgive her. Maybe, I don't know. - Climb the ladder. (slow, ominous music) (quiet ticking)
(ominous music) Have a seat. (slow, ominous music
) The restraints are for
your protection and mine. (hissing buckles)
(clicking clasps) (quiet ticking) - All the sores on your arms, it's the vaccine shots. How often do you
infect yourself? - Almost everyday. - That can't be good for you. - I'm careful. - I heard people
who use too much get like aneurisms or
some shit, I don't know. Little to no warning. I'm sure it's just an
Internet rumor or something. - No, I've seen it happen. First you get a headache
and then your nose bleeds and then you'
re dead, no
time for an ambulance, no time to say
goodbye, just dead. - You still do it.
(timer ticking) (sighs) Must be
a hell of a high. What does it feel like? - It's beautiful. After the 10 minutes are up,
I'll give you the vaccine whether you're experiencing
symptoms or not. If the virus is in your
system for too long, whether dormant or active, the vaccine becomes
less effective. (quiet, dramatic music) (Carlos muttering fearfully) - Come on! (arm squishing) (Carlos muttering fearfully) (f
earful breathing) - Do you like meat? - (clears throat) Yeah, briskets
and chicken on my pizza. I can't say I like uh,
human flesh very much. - When the virus kicks in,
this arm will look like the most beautiful fucking
brisket you've ever seen. (timer ticking) - (coughs) Why? - Excuse me? - (coughs) Why do you do this? - [Woman] Which part? - All of it, why do
you sell all of this? (timer ticking quietly) Yeah, it's always weird, right? (timer ticking quietly)
(woman softly laughing) - My son l
ives in that virus. The germs in that room are Riley's. When a client is infected, it's like he's here with me. I can see him in the eyes. I swear I can almost feel him. Sometimes I can even
hear him calling my name. (Carlos coughing) I can take care of him again. - (coughing) No, (coughing) I want out, I'm
calling it. (coughing) I want out, I'm calling it! - You're so close. - I changed my mind,
give me the shot. - Just hang in there,
let me see Riley-- - Oh no, you can have the
(mutters), just
get me out. - Please.
- Just give me the shot. - Please.
- (mutters) Give me the shot! (Carlos coughing) Just get me out! (panicking) Get me out. (panicked
breathing) (coughs) (muttering fearfully) (labored breathing) - [Woman] There you are. - Get me out, get
me out, get me out. (mutters) Please
give me the shot. What are you doing? Give me the shot!
(woman attempting to sooth) - Now now.
(Carlos grunting) No baby, calm baby, calm. (Carlos sobbing)
- Mama's here. (Carlos whimpering) (timer tic
king quietly) (Carlos grunting) - Get this off, get me out. Fucking crazy bitch. (hand smacks)
(woman gasps) - Oh my God! Riley, I'm so sorry!
(Carlos muttering) I'm sorry, I'm so sorry,
baby, I didn't mean to. I love you, I would never, (high pitched humming frequency) I'm so sorry. (high pitched humming)
I'm sorry. (body thumps) (Carlos breathing heavily) - Oh shit. (panicked breathing) Hey! Hey, get up, give
me the, (sobbing) (Carlos grunting) (chair cracks)
(wood thumps) (Carlos grunting)
(l
abored breathing) (chair thumps)
(Carlos thumps) (Carlos grunting)
(quiet, suspenseful music) (chains rattling)
(suspenseful music) (timer ticking)
(suspenseful music) (Carlos grunting)
(suspenseful music) (Carlos gasping) (timer ticking) (slow, distorted music)
(timer ticking) (timer rings) (dramatic strum) (chainsaw buzzing) (Eddy gasping) - [Man] Oy, don't, Riley! Get back, bloody grab her! Fucking get her! (Eddy yelling) (melancholic music) (bird squawking) (foreboding music) (leaves blowing
) (footsteps scampering) (animal crunching) (Tasmanian devil shrieking) (substance squishing) - [Eddy] Oh. (Tasmanian devil shrieking) (ominous music) (animal grunting) (camera clicking) (Eddy screaming) (melancholic music) - [Possum] Oy,
Alice, Eddy's back. - [Eddy] I did it,
I got the footage. - [Alice] You did? (Tasmanian devil shrieking) - See? Proof, they can't log it now. These devils will be safe. And here's the den. (camera dinging) My lecturer is
going to love this. (foreboding music)
(
Eddy gasping) What? - It's infected. This area is
supposed to be clean. Oh shit. Just what we need. - [Eddy] Oh no. - [Alice] Eddy, hide your gear. - [Riley] We've come
for the farewell party. - [Alice] Who's leaving? - Oh-ho-ho. You are, you little shit. Look, you've had your fun. You've made your point. Now piss off. Oh, he's got kids to
feed down in the valley, and bloody school, and
I've got bills to pay. It's high time you pushed off. - [Alice] These forests
are public land, mate. - [Riley]
Really, well
guess what, smart ass, we are the public.
- Yeah, and so are we. - Well, I bet you can't even
name that tree over here. Or that one there. - It's dogwood,
humaderus apetala. And that big one's a
Eucalyptus delegatensis. - Who's this then? Uni student? (foreboding music) - Probably just
another fucking blow-in. You know what we do to
fucking blow-ins around here? - [Alice] Look,
easy does it, mate. - I'm not your fucking mate. - [Alice] No one
needs to get hurt, okay? You've made yo
ur point. - So you'll be off then, mm? Well, just say the
word, we'll leave. It's really bloody-
- Hey, boss. I reckon we can cut this
big one down real easy. (Possum yelling) - [Eddy] Alice! - You drop that tree
and you will kill her. Look, mate, it's not worth it. Think of your family.
- I fucking well am. - Get off me, you creep.
- Listen. Get off me!
- Listen! Either you get her
to climb down now or Todd here,
he'll cut her down. - We'll leave today. - Shut up, Eddy. - [Riley] Oh, good girl.
I like her. (Eddy grunting) All right, Todd-lee-o,
work is down. - Fuck. (melancholic music) (bird squawking) - This yours then, smarty pants? - Please don't. What sort of student are you? - Science. - Oh fuck, science. (Tasmanian devil shrieking) (tense music) (Eddy grunting) - [Eddy] Please. - Oops. (computer dropping) - No! No. (Eddy screaming) (engine turning over) - [Alice] You doing okay? - Leave me alone! (Eddy grunting) (engine revving) - You're still here! You fucking lying bitch. - Pl

trying to do our job, okay? - I'll fucking job you! - Fucking job, you call
this a fucking job? Fucking lazy, good for nothing, dull, hairy-legged,
hippie fucking bitch. (Riley grunting) - [Possum] It's on tape! - Yeah, well, I'm
coming for you next, you little fucking maggot! We're gonna watch you burn! (Eddy grunting)
(ominous music) I'm sick of these bitches! - All right.
- Hey. You in there, bright spark. (Eddy yelling) Is she sick, or somethi

- Riley! Wait! Riley! - Eddy, you did it. (Possum whooping) You okay up there, Poss? - [Possum] I'm better now! - Those losers
totally had
it coming. (Eddy snorting) (Eddy grunting) What the hell? Ed? - [Possum] What's going on? Alice, don't leave me! Alice! Eddy? Eddy, is that you? (Eddy shrieking) (Alice screaming) - [Todd] Riley! the little boy in the first one absolutely killed it. best actor i’ve seen on this channel so far
I am blown away by the creativity and storytelling in each short film! From the grim reality of "Safe Haven" to the chilling transformations in "Devil Woman", this anthology had me on the edge of my seat. A massive kudos to all the filmmakers involved. Your vision of horror is both unique and haunting. Can't wait to see more from this platform. You've definitely earned another loyal fan!
The first one was really sad the boy got sick and didnt let his mom in he didn't want to hurt her .he loved her that much 😢😢
Safe Haven was pretty sad😢 Great acting from the little boy. But that ending... Thanks Alter for the spooks🧟♀️🧟♂️🖤🧡 Appreciate you as always ❤❤
The zombie theme is one of my favorites, excellent compilation of short films... 🧟♂️👌
love the idea of infected way more than plain old zombies. i love how grim safe haven was; the mother who mauled the baby in her carrier and poor lil zoran. his acting had me tearing up a little especially paired with the mother's acting. i like how it actually had someone get infected because some "zombie" blood got in their mouth. too many shows and movies don't take that into account and it always irks me lol. i thought riley was here was a creative take on the virus.
I remember watching this for the first time years ago! Seems nostalgic almost seeing it again...bravo❤️❤️
The way i cried on that first one 😢...ohhh man that one was too good
The people at alter has done it again another good one . But mom should've taken that day off
@Alter 🖤Luke Walford is on several horror shorts Brilliant Young Actor always shows a range of Emotions just on his face or by his eyes .
Alter you never cease to amaze me with yr videos this one of the best yet
WOWWEEWOW!!! THAT WAS FREAKIN' AWESOME!! BRAVO👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤❤❤
Note to self: don't buy cheap doors 😂
Very good story and acting! Love the ending.
i am in tears from the first story! never thought a zombie tale would have that effect on me but that little boys acting is PHENOMANAL
Safe haven is a sad and emotional story. I loved Zoran's acting especially when he sacrifice himself to save himself from his mother 😢😢😢. It also shows the sad reality of humankind. Riley was here was a bit complex storyline and didn't get it at all. It has good performance in actors and it shows how people suffer from loss and tries unscrupulous methods to achieve them. All you can carry - it's a sad story about how the child survive the Ordeal seeing his parents demise at the hands if the zombies. It is also quiet emotional. Thank you ALTER for such great movies. Most of today's short Zombie movies are quite emotional compared to feature films, except for I am Legend, where in some scenes it shows how John Legend suffers psychologically when he reluctantly kills his best friend, and in the end it is shown that John Legend's dark side and the mirror image is represented by the zombie leader himself. Imagine what would happen in reality if your loved one was bitten by a zombie and most probably I might be with her forever even though I am zombified by her
the first movie...what a legend. forever in our memories woah
Damn the first one was so amazing.
First one was a nod to Blackgas for sure. Can't say the actions of the kid made sense, one second he acts like an adult, the next he sits there clueless.
Safe Haven was awesome!
