One thing about New York that you never get to hear about in videos whether it in a film or something else, it's that this city stinks a lot. It doesn't even come, Oh my God, the skyline is gone. It's like a tornado of rain. Like a Marvel villain has just come. -Yeah, that's true.
-Oh, my God! Wow! It's like it comes down, and then goes up like this. -You don't even see it on camera.
-Don't you? Not really that well. It's crazy, it suddenly came like this! Oh my God, and now the skyline is compl
etely gone. -Yeah.
-And just like one minute ago, I was seeing it very clearly. Good thing we were not outside. -This time.
-Oh my God! There's no way to avoid getting caught up in it. It's the wind...yeah. And now it's becoming visible again slowly. Slowly, but so quickly actually. I don't see it yet. No, I don't see any... -I see nothing.
-But I see the park now. -I don't know what you're seeing.
-I see the park and the cars now. I don't see the cars. Look at it how quickly it's becoming visi
ble. But in the distance,
I'm looking in the distance. Yeah, I'm also. The building that you see behind me, this is the World's Thinnest Skyscraper. The width of it looks somewhat normal from this angle, so I'll show you the building from another angle, then you'll realise how thin and tall it is. Friends, this is New York's Billionaires' Row. The skyscrapers of this row that you see behind me, the apartments in these buildings are so exorbitantly expensive, it is said that only billionaires ca
n afford living in them. That's why this row is known as Billionaires' Row. And do you know what's most interesting? The building that you see behind me, the topmost apartment in it, is priced around $130 to $140 million. "At the iconic, 432, Park Avenue building. So it truly feels like you are floating in the clouds. I also want to point out that all the walls in this unit are trim-less. But we're going to now leave this stunning Grand Salon, and make our way into your chef's kitchen." These bu
ildings are so tall that they are an architectural marvel in their own right. They are so narrow, and built at such a height, on a comparatively small base. So to build it as high, they had to leave gaps at some intervals. You can see it here. So that the building doesn't sway in the wind. So these floors, these and these, they are left empty. They are for the air to pass through, no one lives on these floors. If you stand here and look up, it looks like it's gonna fall on you. It looks like it'
s leaning forward. It's also because our head has to move so much up to see the top. This is me looking straight. And... Literally, this is how I have to look up. One thing about New York, that is never talked about in videos or films that you see, it's that this city stinks a lot. No matter where you are, this city smells terribly. One of the reason behind is it that each evening, the roads are full of overflowing trash bags. And the second reason for it is that the gutters here, as you walk th
rough the city you'll notice steam coming out of them, and that steam has a terrible smell. India first. This is crazy, this is like such a big dump of garbage in the middle of the road. And you'll also find people scavenging for food in the garbage bin. The homeless people around here. It stinks so much! We have been to so many places all around the world, but we've hardly seen any place as stinky as this city. Finally, we can do your "Taxi!" Once in my life, I want to hail a taxi like, Taxi! H
ow are they doing movies, you know? -Yeah.
-Yeah. Where...Oh, the taxis are stopping there. Wow, since the taxi is already waiting,
there's no need to hail it. "Hello, helicopter flight services?" That's so cool that the machine is there. We are in a newly developed part of the city, and this area is extremely noisy, because helicopters are constantly landing and taking off from here. This is the Brooklyn Bridge. We're near the Brooklyn Bridge, and this is the only area in Now York's Manhattan,
from where helicopters can take off and land for tourism. Many companies providing helicopter services, operate out of here. This is in the South of Manhattan. Look at the waves produced by the landing helicopter. Are you ready for fishing? "...and the spinning blades of the tail rotor at all times..." This is the safety instruction briefing. "...balance the aircraft..." "...lighter passengers will usually go at the front..." "...please, do not step on the flaps..." Lighter passengers are at the
front that means I have a chance to be at the front. You're heavier than me. We read about an accident which took place in New York in which the helicopter crashed into the water, and people drowned to death. This life jacket that we're given, is very crucial. This was the article we read. The 2018 helicopter crash. This had actually happened in Manhattan. And it was a tourism helicopter. There were tourists on board it. It was quite scary reading this. Yeah, I'm also scared. Oh, we are the fir
st ones to sit. Yeah. We both got a nice seat. -Are you ready?
-I'm ready. This is your second helicopter flight. I don't like it. There are so many things to see on this helicopter tour. Like the Statue of Liberty, the skyline of New York, Central Park, this is why we won't visit the Statue of Liberty, because we can get a good view from up here. So there's no need to go there. The tour was superb! There were so many things to see. Even Uber provides helicopter services here. In case you want t
o use helicopters instead of Uber cars, you can do so here. Once again, there were three options for booking the helicopter ride. For 15 minutes, 20 minutes or 30 minutes. We chose the 30 minutes long option because we thought that if we're up in the helicopter longer, it'll be more fun. Once again, this was a bad decision. Like the last time at the Empire State Building. Because the main area, the thing that we were actually supposed to see, could have been over within 15 minutes. So there's no
need to book a 30 minutes long helicopter ride. When you visit, you can choose the shortest ride for 15 minutes, that's worth it the most. It's the same thing with the Empire State Building. Even there, you don't necessarily need to go up to the top floor.
Comments
The New York Times did an article about the problems in the supertall apartment building at 432 Park Avenue. It looks like other supertalls have similar problems. All skyscrapers sway when it's very windy but when you have a very tall building like 432 Park, it sways with more force. 432 Park has had a problem with frequent elevator malfunctions. On a windy day, the cables in the elevator shaft slap around and this can cause the elevator to slow down or stop working. One resident of 432 Park was stuck in an elevator for one and a half hours when it broke down. Other residents have complained that the noises the building makes when it sways are irritating or even alarming. The metal partitions between the walls groan. As air rushes in the doorways and elevator, it makes a whistling noise. When you throw garbage in the trash chute, it's really noisy as it falls down. Water leaks and burst pipes have caused millions of dollars of damage since the building opened. One resident complained to the NYT that they had $500,000 damage to their apartment which was several floors below a water leak. The penthouse at 432 Park was originally bought as an investment. The person never moved in. Now he's having trouble selling it.
I like how you start the video without wasting our time
Foreign vloggers always point out the slum areas of India!you have taken a great revenge though! ๐๐

Other vloggers are busy filming their family drama and taking views in the name of their kids but this guy always comes up with amazing vlogs.
BBC and western tourist shows Indian poor sides(slums and dirty sides) they don't shows good sides of India to the world. But now, Indian people travel across the world and showing western and European real faces, good and bad sides! Keep it up! I am really happy to see this!โค๏ธ๐๐๐๐
Dhruv, can u mention the cost (in INR) of each activities you do on your trip, hotel rooms, food etc. So that people who wish to do the same in future could have an idea about the expenditure.
I am staying in America. I also went to New York. Ppl donโt show the reality of America and Americans. I am happy to see the way you are are showing reality also facts. Every state is not like this but in case of New York it is. Dirty streets of New York and homeless these are harsh truth of the city.
7:45 isi reason se hum bhi new York jayenge nahi kyuki yahise sara view achhe se dikh raha hai ๐ ๐
i went to US to study for a short course in early 2010s, it was a well known University in a fairly big city. In the evening on the first day when we went out for grocery shopping a pregnant homeless looking like lady with cigarette in hand started begging us for some loose change. Whenever i think of my stay in US this is the image that always comes to my mind.
I am really inspired by your hard work. Kudos to you for the time and effort you take to make videos.
4:10 aaj mera dekha hua sabse badiya scene ๐โค๏ธ
