[Music] hello everybody and welcome back to my channel I am Jen and this is funy Fridays and here on my channel I talk about different aspects of Christian fundamentalism American conservative politics pop culture and from time to time the occasional gay stuff and today is an update basically a redo of my IHOP video which I made several years ago and if you're new here IHOP stands for International House of Prayer not pancakes although I can't help it if if you're imagining pancakes every time I
say IHOP that's just comes with the territory actually IHOP the pancake restaurant did Sue IHOP The Prayer restaurant eventually they settled and that's so anti climactic like I really wanted to see some like crazy court case but unfortunately so IHOP is technically called IHOP KC but we're all calling an IHOP I think because of the humor but also because that was the name originally in today's episode yeah I just kind of want to give you the biography of Mike ble talk about what IHOP is all ab
out the sexual abuse that Mike Bickle committed against his flock and the coverups of set abuse as well as the Scandal surrounding the investigation that's going on right now IHOP is a mega church High control group I'm not going to say the other word because they might sue me but the other word that you're thinking of they will throw around terms like cult-like to to kind of smear it talk about that in relation to IHOP is IHOP a cult yes yes okay so that was from my first IHOP video and I kind
of cut it off in a weird spot because it transitions into the intro which has a tech 9 song another very famous uh Kansas City resident but yeah this guy asks Mike Bickle is IHOP a cult and he says yes and then he goes I mean yes I understood the question so I just thought that was funny but um speaking of Colts right on the IHOP website it's on the front page I don't know how long it's going to be up there but there is a link to a 2012 sermon that Mike Bickle the founder of IHOP he did a sermon
about how to spot cult it was like the seven signs of a cult um not sure if that was supposed to be from the bite model IHOP definitely is the poster child for a high control group so I thought that was interesting that Mike like made this speech it's so interesting because literally the things that he's saying he is literally describing IHOP kind of a working definition this is not a complete definition of a cult it's a group that deviates from the doctrines and practices of historic Christian
ity oh that's so much it's a group that has an inordinate loyalty to one leader inordinate meaning not appropriate a outside of the bounds of the Bible now I'm going to talk about cult leaders and false [Music] teachers to uh uh this morning the Bible mentions false teachers but many false teachers are itinerate and they travel around or they speak through the media but when a false teacher has a close-nit group associated with them then that false teacher is more than a false teacher they're al
so a cult leader okay so you aren't a traveling preacher that doesn't mean that any of the [ __ ] that you're saying is true now cult leaders are false teachers they typically see themselves and their group is the only group that has the complete truth see it's really interesting that you say that Mike because your church also believes that that they have the only version of Truth your church believes that they are going to literally Usher in end times and your church has also bought up entire n
eighborhoods worth of real estate and you are slowly taking over a whole town and your church also has covered up Decades of abuse of all varieties so I don't know maybe you're talking about yourself here they are a gigantic Church operation headquartered out of Kansas City Missouri not Kansas City Kansas if you're not from here you probably don't know what the [ __ ] I'm talking about but yeah they're in KC and I have never been there but I have driven by the university quite a bit because it's
on the highway uh when you're in Kansas City it is wild so like I said they have a university and I know I hate when people do quotes for [ __ ] because it's very condescending but like this is in no way shape or form for my real college I know I clown on Christian colleges a lot but some of them are more legitimate than others IHOP University is more like bethl University where it's just like training you to do Christian stuff eccentric Christian stuff right and by Christian stuff I mean like
training to be a missionary training to be a worship leader training to Media like taking videos working on the website even doing music they just do a lot of like work at the prayer Center the 24-hour prayer Center here it looks like you can learn different languages Chinese and Portuguese I wonder which Chinese language they're talking about because yeah also I will say that being trained in another language and or getting training in how to use the camera equipment and the editing equipment c
ould actually be a transferable skill but I feel like they'd be better off going to you know like a technical college for something like that yeah that's that's that's what I meant by Christian stuff I'm not trying to shame anybody for doing hyper charismatic Christianity or believing in like end times stuff but it's not mainstream Christianity in fact a lot of evangelicals and Christians find IHOP's Doctrine to be heretical Blasphemous demonic even okay so I will be getting into the New Apostol
ic Reformation in just a few seconds but something totally weird happened during like in between when I research this and when I'm editing it now and keeping mind I originally recorded this video on March 5th the Wikipedia page for the New Apostolic Reformation has changed in that short amount of time and it looks like somebody edited the page on March 5th and the reason I even knew of this change was because I was recording a voiceover and I could not find the definition of the N that I had in
my notes the definition from the Wikipedia page that had been changed and I searched over and over and I could not find it and I was like am I going crazy where did I hear that definition because it's not being backed up by the Wikipedia page and so I asked James to help me figure it out and he showed me you know you can see the exact um editing history of this page somebody had edited it on March 4th at like 6:00 a.m. and not only did they edit it and take out the part about it being a fifth br
anch of Christianity but their citations do not look like anybody else's and then on their Wikipedia um like the talk page which is where the editors talk to each other this person has a very controversial editing history and the editors the other editors on Wikipedia are mad about the strange edits that they're making to the pages so I just think that's really Bonkers because all this happened literally right before I started editing this video and the definition literally changed right before
my eyes so anyway here is me explaining what the New Apostolic Reformation is with both of these working definitions like I mentioned earlier Mike ble is a part of a movement called the New Apostolic Reformation it is a group of charismatic churches who usually typically come from a Pentecostal background they want to establish a new branch of Christianity they believe in re stating the office or title of prophet they are vary into Miracles and end times and it is a controversial movement to say
the least and this movement is a part of the ideology of Christian dominionism which is you know they want to have dominion over the entire country they want to usher in a theocracy and this is also affiliated with the Seven Mountains mandate which is from Revel apparently but what they want to do is they want to take over the seven elements of society to Usher all this in so they want to take over family religion education media entertainment business and government you may have heard this fro
m people like Paula White and recently some more notable individuals who are really into Christian dominionism would be Bill Johnson who is the leader of bethl church Lou Engel who is affiliate ated with IHOP Mike Bickle of course Mike Johnson the current Republican Speaker of the House Michael Flynn Margery Taylor green her bestie Lauren bobert Roger Stone and Charlie Kirk so really a good group of people to be affiliated with the main I would say like gimmick of IHOP besides the Bo and Berry s
yrup is that they have 24-hour prayer rooms or worship centers and sometimes they do live stream those and so we're going to go ahead and check in on what they're doing right now the streets of Jerusalem release your [Music] power through the gospel the power to save [Music] suddenly well well check in on them by the end of the video and see if they're still still at it which I bet they will be so something about 24-hour prayer rooms is that they have been going since the founding of IHOP in 199
9 supposedly they've been doing this nonstop it makes me wonder like during major events in the world if they stopped but I'm not going to not going to press them on that we refer to our full-time staff at the International House of Prayer as intercessory missionaries they raise their own support to work as full-time missionaries who reach out to others from from a lifestyle of prayer and worship today about 2,000 Believers staff students and interns serve full-time investing 50 hours per week a
s they go from the prayer room to the classroom and then to Ministry outreaches and works of service also as those who are committed to the Forerunner message remember that word Forerunner we are spiritually equipping ourselves to prepare others for The Unique dynamics of the generation in which the Lord returns it makes it sound like they're volunteers when it says they raised their own support to work as full-time missionaries but then they said our full-time staff are called missionaries so w
hat is the truth are you paying these people or not are you asking volunteers to raise money to work for you cuz that's [ __ ] up but at the same time I know that they have actual jobs that pay because they list job listings on indeed and they have a shitload of businesses that they either straight up bought or have members of the church who buy them that are like legitimate so I don't know what's up with that and when I say they buy up whole city blocks I mean it they they not only buy real est
ate and businesses but whole apartment buildings and regular single family houses I would like to tell you now that I am going to insert clips from an interview that I just did with Michelle Carpenter who is a a friend of mine and a YouTuber and she is from the area that IHOP is stationed in she's got personal connections to it so I thought it'd be great to talk to her as well as Roberta bevens who is from Lula rich and life after MLM which is the show she's putting on now and we had a good conv
ersation so I'm going to include some of that can you tell us a little bit about IHOP's relationship to the property in its area we know that and and some of our fans may know that they're purchasing a lot of land in that area but may not know anything more about it can you give us a little more information about what that looks like kind of on the ground in your in your town I grew up like maybe a five minute drive from pretty much every major IHOP spot now and I remember going shopping at the
thrift way that is I mean I I guess from Reading up now I apparently the Thriftway was vacant when I hop bought it but I I do know that like there was kind of a general sense just like in the neighborhood of like like I was like 10 years old so what I picked up on was these people are trying to buy all of our houses I don't know if my parents were ever propositioned to sell their house but we noticed that so many houses in the neighborhood like were being sold which is like fairly uncommon for t
hat neighborhood because people buy those houses and die in them and it was kind of weird because all of these houses that were being sold were not be I mean these families weren't being replaced with other families they were being replaced with either empty houses or uh eventually they were being replaced with like 20 year olds and like six or eight of them at a time and then alternating out every few months and nobody was comfortable with that I don't know like if it impacted like the property
values or anything like that but as far as like the the businesses go um apparently I think there was originally like a barber shop there was like a different real realtor AG geny there was a salon a different salon and there were just like some convenience stores maybe um in this shopping center along with the Thriftway and most of those stores still had leases when IHOP bought the space the Thriftway used to be in which is a very big space it's a grocery store the rest of this is just like a
shopping center they turned it into the 24-hour prayer Center and that was in 99 or 2000 and all of these other spaces in the same shopping center none of them renewed their leases from my understanding or they found other ways out of them they did not appreciate the business I guess well it kind of seems like the way you're describing it they're operating in kind of a hostile takeover capacity and not necessarily hostile in the sense of we're seizing it but like we're just making it untenable t
o live here unless you're one of us it's just it's targeting the culture of an entire area and changing it I was already I mean I was 12 or 13 I was already calling them a cult like because of the way they came in everyone was already call churches don't just buy up a whole neighborhood and like insert themselves in random businesses and take up a whole shopping center it sounds like you drive you leave your house and every every time you left your house they'd have a new building or a new prope
rty and you're like okay when do get really claustrophobic and uncomfortable they have all kinds of businesses the only only ones that are like officially Affiliated would probably be the coffee shop um and they have several locations and according to Michelle and Roberta it's it's all right coffee all the things that are in the IHOP you shopping center it's the Forerunner School of ministry the Forerunner School of Worship the Forerunner media Institute the Forerunner Mission School the All Nat
ions prayer room a Burger King Firestone Tires a Providence Pizza Burger King of Kings Burger King of Kings and a prefixed coffee which when I went to visit Michelle there was only two locations there is now currently four locations they've gotten two more location got to say I love that's a perfect Christian coffee name guess what guess what it used to be it used to be called Higher Ground that's that's clever out of 10 oh my God guys so this just in um apparently the coffee shop that is that i
s physically a part of the strip mall that IHOP is in is leaving um now they didn't say it was officially because of the scandals but it's really good timing for that the owners also said that they have never been affiliated with IHOP and they are not owned by them but I don't know it's look at the material they have the coffee shops they have the 24-hour worship rooms they have the live stream okay so I mentioned it briefly on the screen there with the little subtitles but IHOP does have a bunc
h of let's just say interesting programs like I mentioned the One Thing Conference which I do believe ended in 2018 and it was a big you know Revival charismatic concert type Ministry conference whatever you want to call it they sure do know how to raise some money it it's good but we kind of need to do a little bit of fixing here so if you'll look down at your feet and you're in these aisles going up and down or across and you are not up here in front you're fine but if if if you're on black ca
rpet please step off the black carpet and that's going to give our ushers a lane to move and collect the buckets thank you for entering into worship but if you didn't actually get a chance to give your gift you know uh please follow through on that we want to get the slide back up and leave the slide up on the text to give many were asking for that to be put back up I don't know why this is so funny to me they're having like clearly they're doing spontaneous worship and they're they're getting s
lain in the spirit and listening to their hypnotic music and and he goes hey guys just want to make sure that you got those donations in I know I know you really want to give us some money but also the children's equipping Center which I looked up and they're literally teaching children to obviously speak in tongues but training them to be equipped to heal the sick through the laying on of hands to prophesy preach and teach to give them their heart to the poor to worship and evangelize the lost
now you know I love giving your heart to the poor but I have a little bit of problem of them teaching children how to lay hands hands and heal the sick we all know that laying hands on the sick really means that you're about to harass a disabled person and tell them that they're a mistake and that God can heal them and I'm not saying that to be mean like that's really [ __ ] up when people do that and disabled people deserve a lot better than that sort of condescending treatment and I don't like
them getting these kids all worked up honestly it's it's very reminiscent of Jesus Camp which also starred Lou Engel where they really just psychologically manipulate these poor kids since 1973 up to 50 million babies never had a chance to fulfill the dreams God had for their lives that's sad isn't it do you know a third of your friends could be here tonight but they never made it yeah the whole thing ends with a big cry night so I'm just really getting bad vibes from this Lou Engel was also ki
nd of um I don't want to say the star of God loves Uganda he was kind of like the bad guy of that documentary but I highly recommend God loves Uganda it is a documentary film um you can watch it for free on YouTube I think somebody bootlegged it and it's about American Evangelical missionaries go over to countries like Uganda and just completely get involved in the politics um and specific speically IHOPs missionaries and Lou Engel were getting involved in their politics and influencing the anti
-homosexuality bill something frightening is happening in Uganda I foresee a lot of death the fire has already been set and I think it is important to trace it back to where it is coming from the International House of Prayer began in 1999 we have about a thousand full-time staff we called to be a missionary people I believe the Lord is calling me to to pray for a great missionary Force America's not yet done sending her sons and daughters to bring the gospel to the Nations most of these young p
eople it's a time to have an adventure but the poor African listening to them think that's how things should be the Bible say okay all sex outside of marriage is wrong so adultery is wrong fornication is wrong acts of homosexuality are wrong homosexuality does not benefit the society it's sin are you ready for Jesus we do not fight s because of who they are but what they do the controversial Bill proposed death sentence for homosexual the law says no homosexual in this nation it's an Abomination
to God the American when they preach hate here they forget that they preaching to people who will just take the law into their [Music] hands we're not going to put guns in your hand you're going to take over the world by the power of the Holy Spirit [Music] we do believe that God wants the righteous to rule they also have a big music program and I'm not sure but I would bet money that they had let me just you know what [ __ ] it let's find out does IHOP have like music like that you can like do
wnload on Spotify because bethl and Hill song all have like music that they will copyright claim you for and yeah I was copyright claimed by IHOP for some spontaneous worship music but I'll talk about that in just a minute interesting when I type in IHOP on Spotify it's just the restaurant Like Rappers talking about the restaurant I just blew the [ __ ] doors off Forerunner music a collaboration they spelled collaboration wrong a forerunner music artist from the International House of Prayer in
Kansas City Missouri interesting now I can't play any of these but that's interesting so they do have um a music Ministry they're probably going to call it I guess what I was trying to say is do they do they have a record label because Hillsong has Hillsong music and then um bethl has a bunch of different names they had new music out in 2023 interesting unceasing worship is a monthly subscription to an exclusive curated growing library of spontaneous worship moments I don't know how to describe
spontaneous worship because I'm not Christian so I don't know like what a good way to describe it would be by my definition it's when like you're having a worship service that is um music focused and so like they're worshiping as they're singing It's also been called singing in the spirit which I assume is like being slain in the spirit except for your singing and you know they like to point out that there was a lot of singing in the Bible so that it's it's worship singing there's not really a b
etter definition in fact I'm going to show you a clip of some IHOP spontaneous worship and how it is literally just [Music] music sh breaker breaker breaker you are you are you're the [Music] sh hey guys do you think that God is a chain breaker or or what what's going on [Music] here so what I just showed you is actually incredibly tame when it comes to spontaneous worship um and so if you look up some of the more famous worship leaders at IHOP or if you look up Lou Engle at the call um sometime
s these people get really into it um they start wailing they start crying you know they throw themselves on the floor um they start moaning and so what I showed you is a damn pop concert compared to that so just keep that in mind it does get a little more um unusual God we cry out Lord that we would see your glory father that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord would cover the Earth as the waters cover the Seas Lord let this be a generation Lord that you would capture our gaze Lord God captur
e our gaze Lord see they're out here trying to capture the Gaze you heard her fire from heaven yes God God we cry out Lord for that unrelenting fire god the unrelenting fire of your jealous love that it pursue God every chamber of our heart every place of our heart God until we burn for you and only you God remove the mixture within us God remove double-mindedness God remove the places Lord that we burn with the lust of the flesh God until we burn for only you we cry out for unrelenting fire unr

people are sleep deprived so like it's it's it's like a cry night you know cry nights that's the emotional end to like going to a religious camp or conference and they get everybody worked up and like you're all like crying cuz you're like you're so depraved and sinful and like you need God and like you have your like moment where you Buckle to your knees and cry cry night yeah I'm sure some of you have experienced that okay so 24/7 at the IHOP worship service they're doing that so it's very em

gh I do use the terms interchangeably this episode that is not technically correct um everything that is like related to IHOP is actually called Forerunner like as we were seeing Forerunner music the Forerunner School of such and such it is I think purposefully obtuse basically so the Forerunner is the like Sunday service the 24-hour worship it's not Sunday service it's 24hour oh yeah on so they have a 24-hour prayer room that is live well this today when I checked it they were live but they wer
e just like on break I think they're going I saw them on Tik Tok an hour no they're going live at 8 o'clock Central tonight just for prayer service like on YouTube they have their own like live stream in their their room and then they have it streaming on YouTube as well is there a I don't yeah there's TTS there's a total chat and everything I went and checked out their YouTube page today because I was really curious is uh so they have tons of stuff they have my dog they have 364,000 Subs um and
Mike ble the founder of IHOP not to be confused with Al and Jerry Lapin who founded IHOP the pancake restaurant he founded this church um in 1999 and he's obsessed with this Forerunner concept and it's allegedly in the Bible but I couldn't tell you where but the main point you need to take away from this Forerunner thing is that it was a prophecy from God to Mike ble and he kept saying this Forerunner thing to him and that's why they talk about Forerunner it it does not sound like a real word t
o me anymore plus also isn't that a car brand 1997 in aissi Italy that I was uh we were in St Francis assissi uh uh his Monastery the very one that he was uh uh responsible for starting where his movement with the Franciscan started right there on that piece of property and uh the Lord visited me I don't want to go into the details of that just for time sake but that was the first indication that I've re I received of anything related to this thing we call the Forerunner calling I hadn't thought
much about the word Forerunner the Lord spoke it years ago and in 1984 that the Forerunner Spirit would be one of our defining uh uh dimensions of this ministry would be the Forerunner spirit that was back in 1984 I didn't even know what that meant I go The forun Spirit Well we'll see well that's 1984 now it's 1997 and this is the first indicator to me in a direct way from the Holy Spirit of the Forerunner calling of the Forerunner Ministry and it's interesting that it's in context to the bride
groom revelation of Jesus and here's what the Lord said and again it's it's it's quite a story but I don't want to go into it right now I mentioned it a little bit on the prophetic history tapes does he ever tell a coherent story or ever fill in any details back at the 10 year anniversary the Lord said I'm going to raise up friend of the bridegroom Foreigner Messengers and these friends of the bridegroom Forerunner Messengers they're going to hear the voice of the bridegroom and they're going to
to prepare people and is whatever sphere God gives us we don't know the size of our impact but wherever we go we will prepare people as a bride Believers to receive Jesus as the bridegroom King speaking of forerunners and prophecy and bridegrooms I want to talk about the history of IHOP AKA Mike ble biography because before there was IHOP he was at a couple different churches but he linked up with this guy named Bob Bob Jones not affiliated with the other Bob Jones although he is problematic an
d yes you're reading that correctly Mike ble had this alleged prophecy while he was staying in a hotel room in Cairo Egypt him and Mike ble became known as the Kansas City prophets and they were very controversial because first of all anytime someone calls himself a prophet is going to draw negative attention and second because they were having these prophecies that were very strange and as we'll see later with Mike ble his inevitably turned sexual which is like you know come on dude and I was t
old that that they had a major calling uh one of them was uh intercession 24/7 he said you're going to have 24-hour prayer and the spirit of the Tabernacle of David with singers and musicians and that the flaps would be up to where the whole world would see the glory he goes you're going to pray for Israel you're going to move on harus Truman's property as a sign in Wonder also I did not know that Mike ble bought Harry Truman's old house that's really weird but you're going to be connected to As
ia and they're going to have these unplugged TV sets in their hands he goes all over Asia they're going to be watching the singers and musicians in Grand View on harriest Truman's property on unplugged TV sets even in the rice patties I told him uh you're not going to receive me right now uh you w receive me to the first day of spring and on the uh first day of spring when the snow is melting then I'll tell you the secret of your heart and you believe me who I am so if you didn't catch that Bob
Jones is basically responsible for all of the terrible stuff that Mike pickle believes and all of the terrible stuff that IHOP has inflicted on the good people of Kansas City as well as the International Community either way you're never going to guess where this next Story Goes because it's it's it's honestly hard to explain just just pay attention 36 years ago when Bob Jones first walked in my office with that strange winter coat those overalls and he told me all of these things and I remember
thinking this man is so off I mean I had no way of understanding what he said on March the 7th of 83 went over to meet with them Mike bckl and some of them the Lord had told me to wear a coat a heavy one it would be a sign uh that that they'd be a double winner that year but it's been 50 60 70 degrees for 23 weeks but he has a winter coat on and the the uh news said that the spring had come early and the winter was over that's right Bob Jones proved that he had prophetic Visions from God becaus
e he chose to wear a winter coat on a spring day that had not previously been predicted to be cold so you two can become a prophet if you read the farmers alac in case you didn't know Bob Jones who worked at the OA worship center of the Metro Vineyard Fellowship of Kansas City I know what a title um but he got kicked out of the church because he was found to be guilty of sexual misconduct and not only that he was using his prophetic Visions to manipulate women and I think that's really shocking
and appalling but keep that in mind because that is the same EXA thing that Mike ble is in trouble for right now so let's talk more about these prophecies because the end time stuff and the Visions from God stuff is completely foundational to every part of IHOP's doctrines beliefs and theology it is notable that Mike did not go to Seminary he did not like have any uh formal theological training he relies a lot on just the Holy Spirit speaking through him which some people like but I can see why

p watch robotic cameras catch it all the music builds to a crescendo a teenage girl steps to the microphone rise up to be your army Jesus she shouts above the den come and fill the void of this generation the digital signal from the International House of Prayer in South Kansas City Missouri makes its way VIA Washington DC to Jerusalem where it streams live on God TV for broadcast all over the world it never stops 2 in the morning 8 at night Dusk and Dawn holidays and Ice storms time doesn't mat
ter because these young worshippers are more concerned with the end times the signs are here the Messiah is near so they've come here for the last 10 years by the hundreds thousands for what perhaps is Kansas City's biggest religious phenomenon in a century they've come to a renovated strip mall to answer the call of a leader named Mike ble who says a purpose of their worship is to hasten the second coming IHOP is a place of Perpetual worship with continuous two-hour sets of rock band praise mus
ic and prayer nickel 53 says he's heard God's voice and that he's been to Heaven twice inside the walls of his growing IHOP Nation he is revered as a great leader and something of a prophet outside Bickle and other IHOP officials acknowledge they're seen by some as a cult okay so I do have a little bit more information about the Mike Bickle story about going to heaven and it's from this website that is all about Christian apologetics and um from the looks of it it doesn't look like you know they
would be on our side about a lot of different things um they definitely do not seem uh like Progressive affirming Christian so keep that in mind but what they do have in common with us is that we don't like Mike pickle so um this blog or this website has a excerpt from what appears to be a book called Heaven can't wait from 1996 and I'm going to read to you a little bit of this story here about the Kansas City prophets which you remember included Mike pickle and Bob Jones and they believed that
there would be a new breed of super prophets who were arriving on Earth to change the world forever these so-called prophets were a group of men that coalesced around a church known as the Kansas City Fellowship pastured by Mike Bickle that attracted a following of other like-minded churches in that region they argued that God was spearheading a new Revival from their churches and that he was restoring the office of prophet just as other prophets were discussed in these Pages yesterday's Kansas

't know what to make of it until he was 13 when he was escorted to the very throne room of God in heaven you say that you saw the throne room Bickle asked him in the dialogue what did it look like it looked like gold and it looked like light and it was a light not like from the light which you see here he responded adding that the light the glory of God frightened him he said he later understood that this was God's way of calling and commissioning him for the new important Earth changing work th
at he could go out from America's Midwest he then saw Jesus in the form of a light who would grab and kiss men and women of different ages and then make them Disappear by absorbing them into his body um Jesus did what now it was like two big old doors right there in his heart and he'd be just like that and they were gone they was in his heart then he saw people that Jesus didn't want were who were on an elevator and an escalator to Hell which was like a cold storage place Jesus then commissioned

f God's new generals and to lead his end times Army although ble claims he met with the Lord face to face it was an out-of body experience it was 216 a.m. and in a Flash he was there but it wasn't the cave where Jones earlier related he had been instead he was standing in a 20x 30ft room that had clouds on the bottom on the top and the walls it was the courtroom of God God was in the room ble said but rather than appearing at as a being of light he was a presence that ble wouldn't look at God re

ublic relations but IHOP's fast growing ranks are becoming more noticeable a conference in December Drew 20,000 young people and the ministry is planning a 150 million plus World Headquarters a few miles away in Grand View tracks these mostly 20s somethings to what Bickle calls the missions base the place where students learn and then return to their hometowns and start prayer centers 150 around the world so far they say they want to start 24/7 worship rooms all over the country there's over 200
branches of IHOP and they're all over the world they really are international um and they do IHOP involves thems in international politics biggest criticisms of the beliefs of IHOP and Mike Bickle is how sexual the beliefs are I know we all make fun of the bridegroom and and and all that stuff sometimes and like we make fun of Song of Solomon but like he took that personally he literally B es his theology off of The Song of Solomon and there is a lot of literature about that let me tell you one

find themselves eager to encounter this lovely Lord who is in their bridegroom many critics observing that IHOP recruits post pubescent youth have wondered where if they are to approach their lord as Solomon's beloved approaches Solomon their imaginations are supposed to go Jesus is not coming until the people of God are crying out globally in intercession with Bridal identity Bickle has preached if the second coming depends upon romantic communion with Christ and the alternative is satanic hedg

k in the prayer room often for 3 or 4 hours at a time across the IHOP complex in cafeterias hallways and the prayer room music composed to enhance the ecstatic experience is omnipresent according to an ex-member among the lyrics to two popular songs God is a lover looking for a lover so he fashioned me and do you understand what you do to me how you ravish my heart with just one glance some former ey Hoppers have talked of being addicted to it they become nervous and irritable when they turn it
off another IH Hopper has written about a addiction to the sedative atmosphere in the prayer room a common refrain around anxious discouraged ey Hoppers is I just got to get to the prayer room very quickly there were sensual escapades with God a former intern says meaning that some people's private imagings turned explicit after exposure to IHOP's bridegroom Christ she says that an instructor told her God is using his word to kiss you the intern heard stories of IH Hoppers fantasizing about havi

nd the the people who are the most resistant to uh accept the gospel it's very white savior it's very problematic and it's very patronizing it's very offensive and I just can't believe that I managed to catch a moment like that while like just skipping through the 24-hour worship room leave these [ __ ] people alone also um it's kind of crazy to hear Christians talk about Muslims not knowing who Jesus is because Jesus is one of the prophets of Islam so just shows you how much these people actual
ly uh know about anything Lord I'm asking that you would continue to reveal yourself as the man and white to those in the Islamic world that you would send a bold witness Lord to tell them about the man Jesus all right who's ready to talk about Mike ble in his history of sexual abuse nobody okay well well that makes sense it is really terrible there's a lot of background information I have to kind of fill you in on because there is a lot of different people a lot of different investigations a lo
t of different um groups and different things going on I want to just fill you in so first of all there was a 50-page report written by what will be come to be known as The Advocate Group detailing all the allegations against Mike Bickle and as far as I can tell this report has never been released to the public however the Advocate Group did make a one-page summary of this report where they said Mike pickle was being sexually abusive and then IHOP released their own report this report was a coup
le of pages long and basically they said that the Advocate Group was not working with them in the way that they wanted them to they also were saying in this report that many of the Jane do that The Advocate Group had been talking about didn't consent to being a part of this investigation and their names were being brought up and they did not want to participate and so IHOP was saying that the Advocate Group were actually bullies another thing to keep in mind around the time that all this broke t
here was a lot of talk about Mike Bickle being involved in an affair and his son being involved in an affair and Misty Edwards being involved in an affair and even being blackmailed and I'm not going to be talking about that today not that those things aren't significant or important but what I want to focus on in this section of the video is the sexual abuse and how IHOP has tried to downplay it and cover it up and how at the end of the day it's the Jane Doe's who are suffering because of how a
ll this stuff is being handled another thing you got to remember there's going to be a lot of talk about the elt or the executive leadership team that is the executive leadership team they were kind of like the church's government and it's also a new thing which we will be getting into several members of that team have either resigned to join the The Advocate Group or resigned to save their own Tales but The Advocate Group who is a group of people who aren't like legally representing the Jane do
but they are trying to be advocates for them and sometimes they speak on behalf of the Jane do's and this is made up of a group of former IHOP employees and also some of them are um used to be members of the executive leadership team by the way the guy on the very far left is jono Hall and he is British and he is also the one who asked Mike the question is IHOP a cult where he said yes talk about that in relation to IHOP is IHOP a cult yes I also got interviewed for God loves Uganda and he's um
he has very conservative beliefs let's just say that they do a good job sometimes of explaining the gravity of the situation and you know um talking about the abuse and confirming you know that they know who the identities are of the janeo but I do think that sometimes they they spend a little too much time being concerned about Mike bickle's Eternal Soul whereas I think they should be more concerned about getting Justice for the Jane do so that we can all go back to praying together and believ
ing together because nobody has any desire to see IOP KC I've preached on 247 my whole entire life all over the world to imagine that I want to do harm to the very thing I helped build as the associate director is craziness do I want to see Mike ble taken out no I want to see Mike bickle's Soul right before God and right before his Brethren I want to see the church work and to act like there's no knowledge that the church has learned in the last 30 years with the Catholic abuses and all the ones
we've mentioned yeah no there is a common group there's common knowledge that we can enact that creates a safe environment so we can move forward and so uh the craziness that's happened we need to get back to the original thing which is we need help and we I think in a year from now we can all sit down and repent of all kinds of things like if we get into the minutia which statement and this and that and this the fact that Sam storms and Michael Sullivan just released their statement should be
a Clarion call for us to get back to getting the right thing in place not a PR campaign by somebody we don't even know who who is is doing whatever with a group of board members we never heard of no we need to get back to as brothers bringing in this third party and we need to begin to pray and seek and ask for God to intervene for Mike soul I can't blame him for worrying about Mike Soul after all he is Christian and I do appreciate that they understand the gravity of the situation and understan
d that churches are supposed to be a safe haven but I don't know throughout this interview with The Advocate Group like sometimes the things they say just seem like they are really concerned with protecting IHOP's reputation instead of you know what I think they should be concerned about which is sexual abuse the cover up and how the survivors are being respected they are the ones who are speaking to the press and they are the ones who are calling out the [ __ ] that is going on with IHOP's inve
stigation so I do appreciate that the next thing to talk about is the law firms that IHOP has chosen various law firms has chosen to represent them in this situation cu keep in mind none of this is a lawsuit nobody is being criminally charged right now I guess I should have mentioned that up at the top but hey so right now it's just an investigation to you know fire Mike Bickle and to try and wash their hands of the situation but justice has not been served and nobody has been to court that migh
t change someday but right now it's just interesting that when these allegations were brought to the leadership team they decided to lawyer up and even restructure how the church and the leadership was going to be done presumably to protect themselves or to distance themselves from Mike Bickle even though he was clearly the leader Mike was at every El meeting and so mean I there there is I don't have all my exact dates right a decision was made by the elt to stop the board that was in place I th
ink this is 2020 and so we could get the exact dates on it but a conversation Mike's going to come under attack as it relates to the woke and the left uh as it relates to gender sexuality he's being a very strong spokesperson standing with Israel um and so what we need to do is isolate him take all title and all that that if they go after him and sue him they won't impact the the idea was a firewall let me get this straight you were okay with this restructuring when it came to Mike Bickle being
attacked by the woke left that was that was okay firewall between him and the uh organization so the board is disbanded we step away from the agreement we had with the Evangelical Association of how finances are handled ecfa and again you know why would you allow that I look back now but the issue is again his brand is so strong we he doesn't need the accountability you know and so I go along with that and so the board's disbanded and uh and so yeah I Mike was at every El meeting Mike's voice is
by far the dominant voice on the mission base Mike is at every worship leader meeting almost uh in terms of when they gather Mike is in any significant place where there's very significant topics Mike's voice and so in as much as he's formally all that practically he's never let go of the hands on the steering wheel and so uh that that decision that was made actually the board disbanded that decision was announced to the e if I'm recalling correctly because the board made that decision separate
from the El it was communicated to the El and here's why set up a firewall Mike was going to engage in more and more controversial conversations and there needed to be a firewall of lawsuits in case lawsuits came against him that it didn't touch the organization IHOP originally hired Stinson LLP as the first law firm to they're going to say to investigate the claims I'm going to say to protect their ass and this was a national criminal defense law firm and members of The Advocate Group Jane Doe
people of the community ex IHOP members current IHOP members they did not like that they hired this um criminal defense lawyer firm to to represent them again with a strong message sent to a local Ministry I'm Laura Moritz and I'm Kelly yerman a group of people protested inside a worship service at the international House of Prayer in South Kansas City investigative reporter Matt Fleer says this is all about a sexual misconduct investigation into the ministry's founder Matt M Kelly L the founde
r Mike ble is on leave three former leaders have accused him publicly in a letter of sexual abuse but demonstrators say the church has not hired a true third party to investigate the claims people this morning put red tape over their mouths with the word truth they entered the International House of Prayer room around 10 this morning they sat inside for about 2 hours calling for transparency within the ministry my sincerest hope would be that there would be a real investigation that people would
you know see the situation and want to handle it in a way that prioritizes care those demonstrating have asked for an independent investigation into the allegations but IHOP KC has remained with its own Law Firm it is hired Kelly um so then IHOP hired a different then IHOP hired a different Law Firm this time it would be lrip group who are local Kansas City lawyers um and their issue is that they have actually represented a member of the clergy before of a different Church in their criminal sex
abuse case and they won so people are not happy about that these people said well why don't you hire Grace which is a advocacy group for victims and survivors of church-based abuse and they are a respected independent Authority on the subject Grace stands for Godly response to abuse in the Christian environment I've actually seen Grace been brought up before in in other situations and what ended up happening with that is that if you didn't know Grace was actually founded by Billy Graham's grand
son basil or BOS chividian you'll have to forgive me for uh my mispronunciation of that last name I do believe that he represents one of the main Jane does and so IHOP didn't like that Grace also did uncover in 2018 and 2019 two separate instances of IHOP hiring sexual abusers Andor um covering up sexual abuse and so I think maybe they don't like them because of that new questions about a Kansas City Ministry during an investigation into its founder the International House of prayers founder Mik
e ble is on leave accused of sexual misconduct investigative reporter Matt fleiner has details about a new report just out that report details how IHOP KC has dealt with sexual misconduct allegations in the past the third party report from 2019 was sent to cyan investigates along with other journalists as the investigation into Mike ble continues the report concerns sexual misconduct allegations into a specific staff member of IHOP KC not Mike ble the staff member settled a lawsuit with a Washin
gton woman in 2019 over his time at a California Church in the 1980s the report found concerns with how IHOP KC staff handled his hiring the report also made recommendations for IHOP KC to change its practices of investigating staff members backgrounds IHOP KC said it did make changes based on the report but told KBC it would not relitigate the case there is more contained in that report and we'll have more at kmbc.com Matt Fleer kc9 new then finally you're going to hear a lot about Matthew 18 m
ore specifically I guess Matthew 18 verse 15-1 17 which is about imp prety in the church and that would be if your brother or sister sins go and point out their fault just between the two of you if they listen to you you have won them over but if they will not listen take one or two others along so that every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three Witnesses if they still refuse to listen tell it to the church and if they refuse to listen even to the church treat them as you w
ould a pagan or a tax collector so quite a few people bring this up because this is one of the reasons why these allegations kept staying with within the church and not going anywhere else because everybody kept wanting to have these one-on-one meetings just between me you and the microphone I'm pretty sure that Mike and Stewart got very good at invoking Matthew 18 so that people would drop [ __ ] and quit quit trying to make a big deal out of it I wrote a letter to Mike on the 26th of November
appealing to him Mike please do not continue down this path you know where this is going you know it is it is a a fabrication of the Matthew 18 process that you are clinging to in the midst of this by refusing to meet with two to say that it it is illegally proceeding in public fashion I appealed to him to come forward I uh uh he did not respond you know he's got his lawyer he's doing this the way he sees fit but I believe that um The Advocate Group what has been called The Advocate Group this i
s just a group of brothers and leaders and sisters in the body of Christ that found themselves confronted with three stories none of us wanted to hear that arose in spontaneous and uncinated fashion by victims who were not who each thought they were alone in their own story but as Dwayne said early on once you hear these stories you can't unhear them so let's actually begin to talk about it so the news broke to the world and to like regular members of IHOP in late October but another thing you n
eed to know is that Mike committed a lot of these sexually inappropriate relationships and behaviors back in the 80s and '90s and in the 2000s maybe some higher ups knew about this stuff and they were either either suppressing it or maybe not mentioning it or not holding Mike accountable or what have you so in September two members of the elt Steep down John chrsm and Dean Briggs who Dean Briggs will be brought up in just a minute they left IHOP they resigned because they learned about these all
egations and they brought them to the head guy and they did nothing about it they kept wanting to have Matthew 18 freaking solo meetings okay and fed up with how all was going they resigned I had allowed myself for 15 to 18 months to be caught up in the fog of the Nuance of all the the moral ambiguities and the process ambiguities and the Matthew 18 double talk and the way uh uh evidence wasn't considered evidence and and the degree to which this was made unresolvable and kept private from the e
lt that was the first time those names and that situ ation in 4 years had ever been mentioned to the elt and it just became shockingly clear the elephant has finally been named in the room and we aren't okay with this I wrote a four-page resignation letter I read it personally to Mike and Stewart at the time I reinforced my own belief and confidence in their individual integrity and that they were trying to do the right thing but I made it clear in no uncertain terms that pastorally and procedur
ally this is a disaster there is a scandal here that looks like a cover up and this is not been handled well and we'll come back to bite IHOP and I implored them to do something about this and handle it differently but I basically resigned saying I have tried to stand on the inside with you but I don't know how to stand on the inside when I am intentionally kept on the outside uh so I resigned and um six days later I am read into this I'm told uh Dean what we thought was a significant issue is n
ow just the tip of the iceberg there are women coming forward with allegations against Mike then on I believe it was October 22nd it could be the 21st as well um Mike gives his last sermon which is super weird and victim blamy and he's talking about prophecies against him um something that's even stranger about this final sermon is that IHOP did remove it from their website um obviously because it was so strange and it has been archived on um the sermon index which is a YouTube channel and then
not only that but we have on freaking mikebickle.org um the supplemental um like pamphlet that the audience was reading and when you watch it you can see see that a bunch of people have um a piece of paper in their hand and I'm pretty sure this is like the readalong or maybe like the cliff notes of the sermon you can tell I've never been to church because I don't know what the hell this paper is called because obviously it's not a word for word transcript because his sermon was over an hour long

is the dragon of Revelation 12 in Revelation 12 it's a dragon and this one is a literal eight foot chest 15 feet wings I mean this Pegasus or whatever you call it this Mighty beast dragon comes flying down to me and he strikes me with rage he actually hits me on my knee like breaks my kneecap nearly I can't walk for 30 days it's a spiritual experience but it literally happened I mean I'm like this someone goes what happened I go I get kicked by horse they go we thought you didn't like horses I
go just I don't like this one for sure and I didn't talk about it for a long time I but it was the bizarrest thing but here's what happened Michael the Archangel comes and he speaks a sentence if Michael the he spoke actually two sentences but if Michael the Archangel shows up in an Earthly context and says a sentence that's powerful and he comes and he says when you go to the east the r ra the idea is the Rage of Satan of this black horse will kick you when you go to the east what does that mea

le who accused US national accusations related to Tyler Deon interesting uh that you would bring that up I like how he talks about it his h a prophetic Zoom call according to Dwayne Roberts from The Advocate Group Mike had actually put one of the Jane Do's birthdays in his [ __ ] sermon as some sort of power move that Doc in his famous notes he has a a date that he said was one of my very first prophetic encounters and the Lord talked to me about betrayal that date was actually the birth dat the
birth date of of the main Survivor that has come forward of Jane do of Jane Doe it was her birthday he highlighted and and that that was received as a threat and that is wicked that's wicked yeah yeah so that's the uh Speech but that's the like paper that they handed out but sermon is way weirder and in these two dreams Psalm 55 is highlighted Psalm 55 you some of you know it verse 12 it's David saying I'm betrayed not by a friend I mean not an enemy but a familiar friend we have sweet Fellowsh
ip inside of the Inner Circle a couple months later because these two dreams were in 2021 a couple months later some I shared this publicly I had the vision of the open the open vision of the snake in my office I've had three open Visions in 50 years meaning where I'm awake I see it right there is a movie screen on the wall had three of them 50 years this was this snake which is the serpent which is the the accuser I'm just looking up praying in my office like this lights are dim but not off all
of a sudden a snake is in the midair I'm going there's a snake in the midair but it's not at all funny then you know and this snake is coming towards me and is and in Romans three the snake the poison of asps it's accusation and he's that kind of thing I'm going and and I'm just kind of stuck I can't even get words out and not I'm not super afraid but I I'm so perplexed I don't know then I say in the name of Jesus stop and he stops right in that air about 10 feet away and then he comes about th
ree inches closer in the name I raise my voice in the name of Jesus stop he backs up an anch or two or something like that comes a little bit closer I said in the name of Jes Jesus I was pointing stop and it backed up real slow what going back up that way right into the corner coiled up and disappeared and I had this sense of Victory and I said oh so there will be accusations but there's ways they won't Prevail so I was so encouraged because of an open Vision all right that was a little odd but
what about the Heavenly storm glory and and I call it the heavenly storm Glory that's a weird term I just made it up it's a really weird term because around the throne look at paragraph H around the throne there are storm likee manifestations around the throne and there's a lot of verses I mean it's exciting but the point is when God's salvation purpose is on the earth when he intervenes and he brings them forward in a he advances his kingdom his salvation purposes in a way that shifts history t
hat that realm tokens of it break out on the natural realm and the end time church is going to experience this far more than Moses or David well that's kind of a Blasphemous humble brag you really think that the end times church is going to experience it more than Moses or David wow you really think you're somebody huh Mike Bickle it's one of the major themes of end time prophecy that you don't think about how the realm of Glory the storm Glory cu the storm Glory around the throne is not negativ

ause I've never read the Bible and and also Mike ble is weird and he makes [ __ ] up so I actually found one of the members of The Advocate Group in that YouTube interview um giving his take on what he thinks Mike meant by all this stuff and it's actually very troubling and so when I wrote him it was are you really praying for tokens of heavenly storm glory to kill Jane Doe are you really praying for Heavenly tokens of storm glory to kill honest sincere Brethren who are coming to you with a legi

at we not make reference to the black horse in the situation as it is uh dismissive of the pain of those affected our primary concern are those who are affected with pain and Trauma our spiritual family with that I would like to just add that uh we we want our community uh to be a a safe Community especially as it comes to have Abus so if you if this is something that affected your life Isaac Ben his pastoral team to have a excellent system set up uh to minister to those who are suffering a kind

church is now under investigation he's been asked to step away from the church for now because of this the International House of prayers leadership team told parishioners they're investigating founder Mike Bickle after allegations of sexual immorality they haven't gone into much detail yet about these allegations but they did release a statement saying in part here when these allegations were brought to our attention we were shocked we could never have imagined that inappropriate conduct with w
omen as something we would ever need to be concerned about end quote they went on to say that these actions were out of character but too serious to ignore so we will continue to update you on this story as new developments become available and these allegations are pretty serious like him using prophecy to manipulate a 19-year-old into a relationship prophesying stuff like you know my wife's gonna die and and we're gonna get married you know what she shared there as a 19-year-old being prophesi
ed to that she you know of what what was what a hero had prophesied to her and how that led into led into the indiscretions um was so shocking to me you're not as a spiritual son you're not ready to hear that and I remember just weeping and saying you know know I'll stand with you and I'll give you a call when I get back there was also allegations of him having inappropriate behavior with miners so we got one right here that was 14 that's extremely [ __ ] up I don't even know how you're supposed
to come back from that tonight KMBC 9 News investigates deeper questions about a Kansas City Ministry and its founder who is now on leave three former leaders of Kansas City's International House of Prayer came forward last month they alleged sexual misconduct by founder Mike involving several women one of those former leaders is speaking with KMBC 9 news investigative reporter Matt Fleer tonight Matt Kelly Chris these leaders published a letter detailing what they call clergy sexual abuse by M
ike bigle against women one of the leaders said he could not stay silent the reason why I'm doing this is uh an incredible woman actually came forward to my wife and I the beginning of August and told us a story and I can't unhear that story Dwayne Roberts is one of the founding leaders at the International House of Prayer in South Kansas City he's also a former member of its executive leadership team this has to be talked about and uncovered so that the right the wrongs can be made right it's i
t's not right Roberts is one of three former Ministry leaders who released this public letter last month detailing allegations of clergy sexual abuse by Mike ble against several victims ble is not charged with any crimes but he's on leave during an investigation by the ministry he founded in 19 1999 including a 24/7 prayer and worship room and a school in Grand View called IHOP University it's wrong what has happened and it's wrong how it's being handled last week IHOP KC released a report detai
ling one partially credible claim of physical conts between ble and another woman from 26 years ago but IHOP KC said four women have refuted claims they were victims after seeing that report Robert said he wanted to stand firm on the allegations he brought forward I don't want to to go on KMBC and talk like this it's not I don't find pleasure in this you know and I'm making enemies by coming here today I'm people are not excited they won't be happy by by me talking here today but I also believe
that that truth needs to be told and for there to be any Clarity confidence in that Ministry and in even the messaging of that Ministry the truth needs to be needs to be discovered now IHOP casy released a statement today saying the so-called complaint group disregarded due process with its allegations IHOP Casey said it is using due process to verify allegations using law firms saying it cannot move forward with an investigation until it does so and remember The Advocate Group who are referred
to as the complaint Group by IHOP is like a way to invalidate them they put out a statement standing by the allegations and then IHOP did a meeting and also a statement that well basically it said nothing this is a statement from the ibkc leadership team regarding allegations against Mike ble we are heartbroken to share that we recently became aware of serious allegations of sexual immorality directed against Mike ble the founder of ibkc our leadership team takes these allegations very seriously
and we are laboring for truth light Redemption and righteousness we are engaging with outside parties to assess and arbitrate these allegations our priority is to love and serve the ibkc community during this moment this news is unsettling for our spiritual family as well as our entire leadership team team please pray for all involved including the ones who have come forward those who have experienced trauma and for the bigle family we are asking for your patience as we work through this comple
x and very difficult situation secondly we ask our spiritual family to refrain from using prophetic spiritual language that can be interpreted as dismissive of the pain of those who are traumatized on October 26th the ibkc executive leadership team asked Mike ble and he agreed to not preach or teach from the IC platform attend our 24-hour prayer room or engage his social media channels while we work with others to assess this situation as difficult as this is for many we are trusting Jesus wise
and good leadership to help and strengthen us as we anchor Our Hope in him then a bunch of stuff happened on IHOP's end in a very rapid succession so on November 5th is when they announced that they were going to be using Stinson LLP as their lawyers which prompted outrage cuz people were like why are you using criminal lawyers for this situation and so then they terminated their relationship and then they hired um the LEP group although at the time they were being Hush Hush on who they had hire
d but we know who it is now and we actually know who the specific lawyer is but I'll get into that later then on November 15th IHOP put out a statement called the report on initial findings where they went through the 50-page report that The Advocate Group had come up with they said after 3 weeks of examination IHOP KC has identified five of eight alleged victims three of those five have publicly called the allegations lies a fourth has not wanted to communicate with IHOP Casey's attorney and th
e fifth allegations relate to incidents that precede IHOP Casey's founding which is kind of [ __ ] because it's like yeah no [ __ ] they're talking about Mike ble abusing somebody at one of the other churches you're you're just trying to protect IHOP and it's very obvious then they go on to say that the complaint Group which is what they call The Advocate Group are liars and they have no proof and they have no evidence and that the Jane do basically don't want to work with them I don't really kn
ow what to do with that information many of the Jane do that were mentioned have come forward and said that they don't want to be a part of this and I'm sorry to jump around here but this is from January 16th and it's actually called the janeo protest statement where five of the Jos said that they do not like how they've been treated throughout this whole thing and I completely understand having to relive your trauma over and over or telling your story over and over and no one beli in you or hav
ing private information that maybe you didn't actually report you just told a friend it even says in here that this is the fourth investigation for some of them I can definitely empathize with why they wouldn't want to be a part of this because both groups seem to be doing things without their consent and some of them might be survivors of abuse and they don't want to report it and that is completely their business and 100% their choice and I respect whatever choice choice they make meanwhile co
ncerning the actual investigation people said well why don't you just use Grace that Godly response to abuse in the Christian environment group and of course IHOP doesn't like them because of who the founder is and how he's representing one of the Jane Do's allegedly there was actually a petition created to try and get IHOP to use Grace and it almost has enough signatures I don't really know what happens once they get the signatures but regardless IHOP didn't go with Grace and they actually said
that they had contacted them and not heard anything from them but then Grace came out and said um no you actually never contacted us so what the [ __ ] way back on November 10th facing pressure from people who were not happy that they hired Stinson and instead of you know hiring Grace they actually went and hired a KC Law Firm which at the time was unnamed but now we know is the lap group and this all happened in November a report just released Thursday morning deals with some of the initial fi
ndings from allegations against Mike ble ble was accused last month that a publicly released letter by former leaders of his ministry of clergy sexual abuse Thursday's report says ihob KC has found one partially credible claim of physical contacts between ble and another woman from 26 years ago he's on leave right now after those allegations came out but IHOP KC is rebuffing calls for a third-party investigation saying in a report released Thursday for women have refuted claims they were a victi
m alleged victims are not going to come forward until there is a third party involved brandley Smith leads a group calling for an objective investigation of the claims today's statement was primarily energy spent on discrediting uh quote unquote alleged victims he says people need an independent place they can come forward trained in a trauma-informed approach versus filtering through the ministry itself whenever that's happened and people tell you that you know your re it is not your reality um
it makes it hard for for people who have suffered harm in December on December 12th specifically Mike Bickle released his own statement confessing to some sort of extremely vague inappropriate sexual behaviors 20 years in the past of course we knew he wasn't going to be like yeah I definitely touched a minor like he literally is dodging the point now we want to go to our top story we start with breaking news for the first time we're hearing from the founder of the International House of Prayer
and he is accused of sexual misconduct CBC n's Chris Catz is here with that update we have been following the allegations involving Mike pickl since October in a statement ble admitted he sinned by engaging in inappropriate behavior more than 20 years ago going on to apologize for a sin to the leadership at the International House of Prayer and his community ble says he only decided to write the statement after he was confronted by the things that he said he did IHOP KC posted on social media as
king for prayers in the situation ble was on leave from the ministry after three former senior leaders accused him of sexual abuse there have been no criminal charges filed in any of the allegations so far also at this time IHOP released their own response to Mike ble statement um this guy here is named Eric voles and he is IHOP's spokesperson and only the most wholesome and innocent mega churches have a PR team he goes on to say that the advocate group's lawyer is not working with them in the w
ay that they want to and they go back and forth for a few weeks like making videos about like misconceptions about this and I don't know it's honestly hard to follow and I wish that more care was taken into respecting the actual survivors and victims of this situation instead of this pedantic back and forth any notion that IHOP KC is engaged in a coverup or not interested in the truth is simply false there are more questions to be answered and we won't stop until we establish proof of the truth
and it wasn't until Christmas Eve Eve that IHOP officially announced formal separation for Mike ble and Stuart Greaves uh citing a vague inappropriate behavior [Music] um hello honey miss peep I love you yeah isn't she great anyway um not only did they officially fire Mike ble which took them way too long but also shortly after Stuart greeves stepped down and so did David slyker who now is the former president of IHOP University the International House of prayers separated from its founder Mike
ble last month during a sexual misconduct investigation this week another key leader resigned investigative reporter Matt Fleer shows us the latest development these past few weeks at the International House of prayer here in South Kansas City there's been a lot of movement among the main leadership of the ministry the most prominent departure Mike ble who started the 247 prayer movement in 1999 and I think it's important to have a clear statement on who he is Dwayne Roberts was one of three for
mer IHOP KC leaders releasing a public letter in October detailing clergy sexual abuse by Mike ble against several victims ble is not charged with any crimes but last month the ministry separated from him saying found a level of inappropriate behavior I think that truth needs to come out and I'm still very committed to that and I think the advocate team is there that people need to be held responsible for their actions this week the leader of IHOP University David sler resigned after last month
the executive director of IHOP KC Stuart Greaves resigned the spokesman did not agree to an on camera interview about the departures but his released statement saying IHOP KC is committed to an independent investigation Roberts meanwhile says survivors still don't feel comfortable coming forward to IHOP KC's hired attorney saying IHOP KC needs to continue to make changes for them to truly move forward with strength I think there needs to be a proper handling of the past Matt fer kc9 news an atto
rney hired by IHOP KC has released a letter saying she is committed to an independent investigation we'll continue to push for more answers from the ministry on what happens next at the tail end of January specifically January 30th Rosalie McNamara which is the lawyer who was commissioned by IHOP to conduct this investigation released a report McNamara expressly stated that based on her investigation and interviews with the accusers Mike ble likely did engage in inappropriate behavior as a part
of his authoritative pastoral role essentially the purpose of this investigation and Report were to determine whether or not the accusations against Mike were credible enough to Warrant action on the part of the church this was not an in investigation to determine any criminal wrongdoing hence the vague nature of this report and the strict avoidance of terms that would indicate specific criminal Behavior it's not a satisfying report but that's just because it's meant to cover IHOP's ass and I lo
oked and I looked and I could not find any like News videos from the local Kansas City news about the findings of the McNamara report and so the only thing I have is a response to it from you guessed it Eric VES over at IHOP and I don't know I just feel a little unsatisfied with this response and we are encouraged by a new development IHOP KC has opened a line of communication to The Advocate Group to entertain the idea of a commission of mutually agreed upon well-respected outside leaders in th
e body of Christ this commission will serve as independent overseers to evaluate this matter and provide Direction on the proper subsequent actions this commission will also rece receive any new information that comes to light the talks are preliminary but things look promising and I have not heard anything about this um commission that they were thinking of entertaining in regards to The Advocate Group um this was posted on January 31st so I don't really know and honestly I really am curious on
what's going to happen next on February 8th IHOP released a statement apologizing for how they mishandled sexual abuse claims they agreed that Mike bickle's actions were predatory they even acknowledged that one of the survivors was a minor when he did this which is kind of shocking to me and they even said that on October 27th at that staff meeting that they lacked the necessary disclosure and cander to meet the gravity of the situation while I will acknowledge that it was nice that they made
this statement and apologized for some things I definitely don't think that this is the end of the story or that any of the survivors have gotten Justice and I think that definitely more steps need to be taken and Mike Bickle needs to be held accountable so in February we find out that in January Mike ble had contacted one of his Jane do and allegedly asked for advice on what to say for a video I guess apologizing it was It was supposed to be about his failures and he asked her to review the scr
ipt and she basically in a nice Christian way told him to [ __ ] off I do not think this will serve your end goal or improve your public opinion poll it feels like you are missing the forest for the trees it's charged out there and I don't think this is what anyone wants to hear from anyone with the last name Bickle and don't worry the entire script has been leaked to Twitter although we can be happy that he never made this video it's online if you really need to read it in conclusion I think Mi
ke ble is a pervert I think IHOP completely bungled a lot of this investigation I think it's weird what they were doing with the lawyers I think they should have hired maybe not even Grace but an actual objective third party that has nothing to do with protecting IHOP's reputation I want actual Justice for these survivors and I want both IHOP and The Advocate Group to put some respect on their names I think that IHOP itself is a High control group I have heard from many people that have lost fri
ends and family to this group about how it changes their loved ones how they all get this like for lack of a better word IHOP quality about them I think that Mike and several other leaders got up there every week and lied about stuff I think they go way too far with their prophecies especially when they're used to manipulate people but at the same time I just want to put all of the blame on IHOP's leadership and Mike Bickle because they are the ones that are mistreating their vulnerable flock wh
en people join churches they are looking for a community they are looking for spirituality and they are looking for a safe place and right now it does not seem like IHOP is that or has ever been that and that's a damn shame and I want to state that I don't think that the members of IHOP are a problem I'm sure they are all lovely people who are just just trying to do their best and trying to worship and this horrible organization keeps getting in the way it's not the people that are the problem i
t's the leadership and it's the people who are in power in fact I have a really sweet story here from my interview with Michelle and Roberta that talks about a really nice person from IHOP so like one of the only interactions until my family was in it that I had had with any of these church members was at a gas station and I just I remember it having been one of the worst days of my life and this person like pulled up behind me at the gas station at the gas pump and and she she came over or she
told me she was with IHOP um but then she was like but I don't feel like God is asking me to evangelize to you I feel like God wants me to give you this and she gave me $100 and left wow it was bizarre I mean shout out to that lady right these people are not evil I agree with you these the the individual people that go to this church are not evil and it sounds like a lot of them are very nice people and they're just trying to go to church they just happen to like this weird one we're trying to p
ut all the all the pressure and the blame the accountability on IHOP as an institution Andor Mike pickle this Grieves guy I don't like either I have no problem with religious people and I believe that they should have the right to go to church if they want without being abused is that so hard to ask apparently it is in America haven't even had time to mention how homophobic Mike is I mean he even said that gay marriages from Hell in the last days they'll depart from the faith they'll listen to d

My wife and I are ex-IHOPers. We left IHOP shortly after we started dating in 2016 and have since deconstructed and left Christianity. Although we no longer associate with IHOP we still have connections to it including my family who own the prefix coffee shop. We left a while ago but with everything coming out about Mike Bickle since last year we’ve both been reprocessing many of our experiences there. Thank you so much for making people aware of this. It’s an extremely toxic environment and a despicable organization. We love your channel and your content! Thank you again for making this!

That "Save Muslims!" song is the textbook definition of camp. My jaw is on the floor. When she sang out, "saaaave muslims," I screamed and laughed.
Seeing these conservative men give up their positions of authority to stand up for victims is actually encouraging. So often we see them turning a blind eye or helping cover this up to help their churches save face. I hope more of their fellow leadership team takes note and follow suit.
I find it interesting that IHOPKC's statements use the term "sexual immorality" instead of "sexual abuse". It really shows how IHOPKC is manipulating every single word to distance themselves from the severity of the allegations. "Alleged sexual immorality" sounds like Mike cheated on his wife or something. It's disgusting and disturbing.
There's a name on that list, in the beginning of the video, Todd White. He's SO worth doing a video on. His teachings are dangerous and WILD. He's been featured in documentaries where he goes abroad and "heals" people without their consent and manipulates them on camera during vulnerable moments. He also owns a ministry school that teaches those tactics for evangelism. Please check this guy out and his bestie Dan Moler!

Fun fact: when I was 16 we went to an IHOP worship service with our youth group from church. Only problem was that I was raised Duggar Baptist, so I was convinced they were going to start passing around the snake and my dad always said “you better never go to a snake handling church—you’ll get bit for sure.” Cue my first ever panic attack at a church event. My parents left that church shortly after because they were “too liberal” because the youth pastor’s wife wore pants to a youth activity…

Cry night also happens during theatre lock ins, right after you tell everyone there your business by stepping forward if "something applies" but the statements were like "step forward if you are considered lower class or low income" so it was trauma olympics. I think my theatre teacher wanted us broken emotionally and low self esteem so we would be better at acting. Unfortunatley cry nights dont just happen in church camp or church stuff in general. Why cant young people just live?
Spontaneous worship is basically what any other musician would call riffing (aka, singing/playing stuff that’s not a planned, previously written song), only you’re being “moved by the Spirit”. Sometimes entire songs come out of it. It can actually be pretty fun from a music performance perspective.

I live in Grandview, cult central. I once saw one of the pancake leaders tell two young teenage girls that they needed to disconnect from their families. The families didn't understand prophecy and were harmful to the girls' spirits. Also look at the cost of the property on Red Bridge before and after they bought and improved it. Somehow the value went DOWN after they renovated it. They own the government in this part of town.
dude some of the worst trauma i have that’s associated with the church is specifically the weekend lock ins. 1st night is cry night— initiated by youth leaders asking all of the participants (ages 13 to 17) to fill out a ‘confidential’ confession form ( trauma dump on paper ) so that the YL’s “knew what to pray about”. this was followed by dinner after we checked in, and then gathering in the pews and staring at a slab of wood planks piled on the stage. we all received what was supposed to be like a goodie bag under our chairs: a handful of nails, a mini paint roller & a jar of red paint. YL’s would call us onto the stage to help ”assemble the cross as a community” ????? literally a bunch of 13-17 year olds taking turns hammering nails into wood planks in silence. after we built a good enough cross one of the YL would PULL OUT THE ’confidential’ TRAUMA DUMP CONFESSION FORMS , announce our name, and fucking read our things out loud to the entire chapel. some kids were just shattered because their deepest secrets and moments were exposed. (people and their sexuality, s3xual abuse from family members, s3lf harm & slewercide attempts, etc.) they ended the session by asking us to come up as a group and paint the cross red as they laid hands on us to pray. day 2 was all about ”purity” and they separated the girls and boys for sermon. day 3 was group baptism at our city swimming pool, then drove us back to church for sunday sermon and “release” us to our parents. some of us were left horrifically traumatized, i felt so dirty and helpless.
Watching the worship videos gave me flashbacks, i forgot how big into IHOP/bethel/hillsong i was toward the end of my fundie-hood 😵💫
