and four of life is strange too good lunch 1973. in sean's room in episode one on sean's computer an active download can be seen for filename goodlands 1973. this is a reference to the 1973 film badlands by terence mallet which is often cited by critics as one of the greatest and most influential films of all time sean is a film bro confirmed highway to haven this is a checkpoint in episode 4 which is referring to haven point nevada which is where sean goes to find daniel it could also be eithe
r a reference to the song highway to hell by ac dc or the tv show highway to heaven from the 80s list on the left hand at the very beginning of episode 1 leila writes a list of party supplies on sean's left hand this could be a total coincidence but it could also be a reference to the fact that chloe writes her objectives on her left hand in before the storm playbox this is another fictional brand this time for games console it's quite obviously a portmanteau of playstation and xbox the play box
can be seen in captain spirit as well as episode 1 of life is strange 2. daniel's education one of the most interesting gameplay mechanics of the game is that depending on how sean interacts with daniel daniel's morality will be affected for example in episode 1 if sean steals the chocolate crisp bar from the car or shopless from the gas station later on daniel was still from brody's car and when sean confronts him about it he will say that he thought it was okay since sean did it chloe slash j
oyce calls david depending on if the player saved chloe or arcadia bay in life is strange david will receive a phone call either from chloe or from joyce in episode 5. david also mentions chloe to sean chloe and max's photograph if you chose to save chloe in life is strange in david's trailer you can see a photo of max and chloe chloe has green hair and more tattoos and they both look slightly older obviously upon seeing the photos shawn will comment that they look cool arcadia bay another detai
l that changes based on how you play life is strange is when sean and brody stop the car and have a conversation at a location that overlooks arcadia bay if chloe was sacrificed back in life is strange the town will be lit up and the lighthouse will be rotating its light if arcadia bay was sacrificed the town will appear abandoned and the lighthouse will be have destroyed from the storm as we see in the cutscene of the original game toward the end of this scene an information plaque can be seen
more clearly depending on the above circumstances the plaque will either be painted with a memorial and the line time won't forget about you which can be seen as a reference to max's powers or it will just describe the town clickers in mount vernier national park daniel and sean come across a weird mushroom that daniel says resembles a clicker this is a reference to a type of enemy from the video game the last of us sean then goes on to imitate the creepy sounds that the clickers make choices ca

uckleberry finn butch cassidy was an american train and bank robber and the leader of a gang called the wild bunch in the old west huckleberry finn was the narrator and protagonist of adventures of huckleberry finn and the best friend of tom sawyer both names evoke a sense of adventure and rebellion which very much matches cassidy and finn's personalities beaver creek and puerto lobos unlike arcadia bay from the previous games puerto lobos and beavercreek both actually exist in the real world al
though with some differences from their in-game counterparts sean's drawings sean's sketchbook records sean's experiences throughout the events life is changed too sean draws sketches and makes comments based on recent events and his surroundings some of which change depending on choices the sketchbook also allows the player to get information on what happened between certain events for example before the events of the game or between episodes at certain points in the game sean can sit and draw
sketches of his surroundings after sean loses his eye he writes that he sucks now because his death perception has been affected however he keeps drawing and by the end of the game his drawings are just as good if not better than they were at the beginning enano sean cozy's little brother enano which means dwarf this actually came from the voice actor for sean gonzalo martin who improvised sean calling daniel in anna because that's what he calls his younger foster brothers acfc acfc drive-throug

there is some similarities between the outfit worn by daniel at the beginning of the game and the outfit won by dany in the movie zethura a space adventure that and the fact that the two protagonists of the movie are brothers led some players to believe that this might have been an inspiration for the game doge in brody's car this is a blink and you'll miss it moment but a sticker of the very famous meme format can be seen on brodie's dashboard blue track blue truck that picks seanap on his way

destructive potential of power in the wrong hands which also makes sense considering the fact that daniel can use his power to destroy the barricade and kill a bunch of police officers in that scene temporal inconsistency i just tried to say that like 10 times in a row in episodes 2 in karen's room a cd for the single rude by magic could be seen however this would contradict the fact that she cut ties with her family in 2008 since this song was released in 2013. this was then fixed by a new cd
cover as part of a patch that was either released with episode 3 or shortly afterwards tier 4 mushrooms bandana in episode 1 brody gives daniel a red bandana which he ties around mushroom's neck later on in episode 2 mushroom is killed by a cougar in episode 3 daniel can be seen wearing mushrooms bandana around his neck mimicking finn who is wearing a bandana as well this is a way for daniel to honor his lost puppy as well as possibly implying he admires finn and wishes to imitate him daniel kee

now after scaring the mysterious animal out of the garage he will get to observe a raccoon by a tree the raccoon is rumored to be a spirit animal tier 5 david's password in episode 4 a post-it note on karen's tablet hints at the fact that it was given to her by someone else the password is 112708 which is the same password that david used for his laptop in season 1 is the date that him and joyce met for the first time to the eagle-eyed player this could have hinted at the fact that david was to
return in episode 5. unruly teenage fright hoppers during captain spirit chris can come across an email on his father's computer detailing accounts of unruly teenage fright helpers in the area this hints towards the fact that sean and daniel meet finn and cassidy in episode 2 of life strange 2 and then end up train hopping with them later on it's also a reference to mike brody's work as mentioned in tier 2 and possibly to chloe and rachel in before the storm gone home conhum is a game by fulbrig
ht that was released during development for life is trained season 1 and shares some themes with a franchise in the game you come home after some time abroad to a home that was left behind by your family and you try and figure out what happened by exploring the house the developers of life is strange have been quoted saying that their fans have gone home which is why it's pretty cool that during the development of life is change 2 the writing team was actually assisted by steve gainer and carla
simonia who are the creators of gone home chris escape if you play the beginning of the game with high morality and get daniel to tell chris the truth about the powers in episode 2 then at the end of the episode chris will give the dear's brothers escape because as he says daniel is the real hero if you continue the game with low morality and end up with a blood brothers ending you can see chris's cape in the safe which means that they kept it this whole time breakfast conversation the breakfast
conversation between charles and chris at the beginning of captain spirit changes depending on how long you wait before you leave chris's room if you go out right away charles will be happy and positive but if you make him wait too long he will threaten chris and the conversation will be tense and uncomfortable but i don't this isn't a hotel buddy i get things to do various interactions between daniel and the cops depending on morality in episode 5 the way daniel interacts with the cops will de
pend on how shawn raised him throughout the game for example when daniel comes in to save sean and attacks the cop he will either show some remorse or no remorse at all later on if sean tells him to kill the cops he will either refuse or kill them without hesitating which is quite scary coming from a ten-year-old kid silence is meaning throughout the game the different dialogue options influence sean's relationship with daniel but there's another option that also has an effect whether you respon
d at all or not in some cases sean can choose to ignore daniel completely which will have a negative impact on their relationship during the motel scene after daniel fans out about their dad if sean doesn't respond quick enough daniel will get even more angry at him hobo symbols the icons for some of the achievements for life is change 2 are actually symbols that were used by homeless people in america during the great depression they were left behind by drifters to inform the others of which pl
aces were safe and which ones to avoid there were symbols for everything such as barking dog hair alcohol in this town kind lady lives here in the game for example the achievement called train of thought bears a symbol for good place to catch a train while the one called boundaries has the symbol for jail or prison hoba symbols can also be seen on the backpack that brody gives to sean at the end of episode 1. fun fact i noticed while looking for something else in before the storm when rachel and

bol that means safe camp chiaro's cure chiaroscuro is the name of another achievement in the game and it might be another reference to mark jefferson since he mentions chiaroscuro in his lecture at the beginning of life is strange tier six court foreshadowing the scene with esteban at the beginning of episode 1 where he asks sean to decide who gets to eat the last choco crisp can be seen as foreshadowing for the fact that if sean surrenders he will need to face trial and end up in prison lila's
hospital stay when we first meet lyla it is implied that she suffers from bad mental health and that she's been hospitalized in the past as suggested by brett when he says she's back from the loony bin later on if shawn didn't call lila in episode one and tries to call her an episode too her mom will pick up and inform sean that she's been admitted into hospital again due to her worsening mental health in episode five when sean checks on her social media on karen's laptop he can see that lila is
back at school nick reported the diaz brothers when you meet nick at the christmas market he seems to have some strong opinions and doesn't seem like a very welcoming guy because of this it is theorized that he is the one who called the authorities on sean and daniel if sean didn't call lyla or check social media newspaper article about seattle in captain spirit the newspaper lying on the erickson's dinner table describes the events of and fallout surrounding esteban diaz and officer matthew's

e which the icon is likely based on pt the word hello can be seen as a graffiti in many places in the game the way it's written makes it very likely that it's a reference to pt a playable teaser for the since cancelled game silent hills that has a similar message written on a wall this could also be a nod to the fact that life is strange also has its own pt playable teaser in the form of captain spirit sean's death foreshadowing there are a few moments in the game that seem to be foreshadowing s
ean's death for example in the forest if daniel comes across both the dead and living raccoons he can comment wondering whether the two raccoons were brothers like him and sean sean himself has quite a few lines that can sound a bit dark if you know that one of the endings has him dying such as remind me to never get old while looking for his dad's screwdriver hope i'll never have to hold on to a bar to take a [ __ ] while in his grandparents bathroom they're probably gonna bury me in this thing
when looking at his hoodie yeah pretty dark joan died from a cancer joan is one of karen's friends and neighbors in a desert community of a way it's never said that she has cancer but it's hinted at by the fact that she is neither hair nor eyebrows and that she says she's defying death on a daily basis during the redemption ending we can see that karen is wearing jones jacket which might mean that joan sadly lost her battle against cancer and that karen is wearing the jacket to honor her memory
nick killed emily we know from looking around the eriksen house that emily died in a hit-and-run and that charles was never able to get justice for her there is a theory that nick was the one driving the car that day due to him being the only named character who appears in both captain spirit and life is strange 2 that could have a remotely plausible motive covering up their involvement nick's friendship with charles and his reputation among beaver creek's townspeople will be obviously damaged
if word got out that he caused emily's death since he mentions being involved to some extent in beavercreek's town council nick would also run the risk of losing his job due to negative public opinion nick is also implied to have helped charles find his job which he could have done out of guilt over what he did in captain spirit chris mentions that nick and charles never hang out anymore which could mean that child suspects nick trauma brings on the powers this is an overarching theory about the
life strange franchise as a whole that says that powers are brought on by traumatic events for max it was seeing her childhood best friend get shot for daniel it was seeing his dad get shot for alex i won't get into it in case you haven't played three colors yet of course don't know it have never given us a canon explanation for their powers so it's all theory but you let me know what you think daniel attacks cassidy in one of the possible endings of episode three if sean chose to spend time wi
