Ono First Responders are praising the community for coming together in a missing person search we told you yesterday about a 20-year-old with special needs who is missing for at least 12 hours officials say it couldn't have been without the entire Village and then some wc3s Ariana Williams joins us live in studio Ariana when was she found authorities say Amilia mikeworth went missing between midnight and 8:00 in the morning they got the call around 11: in the morning and she was finally located
around 9:00 p.m. they're a small community but they showed how big they can be when they come together I mean it was awesome I mean it's I guess kind of the beauty of a small town where people may have their differences but come together when somebody needs help you know your neighbors you know a lot of people um that you live next to your kids go to school with their kids um so it's very close net and and they care so when ailia mikeworth a 20-year-old with special needs was reported missing in
tono it wasn't just Village First Responders who jumped to action and I know when I was out on foot in the area there were cars driving by calling out her name and trying to find her nobody wants to see anything bad happen to anybody um so they wanted to you know bring that young lady home um and treated her just like you would do your own child Justin levingston is the tono police chief he's been with the department for more than 20 years and he says it was his first time seeing such high leve
ls of community involvement unfortunately a bad situation but it was nice to see people willing to help it was truly inspire spiring and amazing um I've lived in that Community my entire life so 38 years um and never really had an experience like that before um so it was very um heartwarming to see um how many people cared The Village used social media to help spread the word even to neighboring towns Champagne County search and rescue seavo Fire and faum Fire Department were just some of the ne
arby departments who assisted there were several agencies and people that stepped up to help and I just really want to thank them for all they did Mike worth was spotted walking down Washington Street by a deputy but fire chief Chris humer says it's something that couldn't have been done without everyone's help we couldn't have done what we did um on the scale that we did without a lot of committed First Responders and community members working well together Mike worth was checked by medical pro
