the other show that I'm on driving a line and they have to shoot your shot,
which is an opportunity for up and coming bettors
to give like a shot on the big show and we ac
tually right
I need to mention this to you one of the guys from that show
is actually coming over here. So we're not we're going to be offering
daily NHL as well. So we are growing
or giving people opportunities. And for somebody like yourself who has
been in the business for some time, you know, I'd love to pickk your brain a little bit
about how you got started in broadcasting and sports betting and get some pickks
for you for today. So why don't we just jump right in
and let people know how y
ou got started in all this? And, you know what your career is like
and you know what it's like being a pro in the business. Yeah, well, first of all,
I don't know if I would call myself a pro. Let's not, you know, let's not get to it. But no, I appreciate it, man. All really, really nice stuff. Kind words. Listen, I'm not going to bore everyone
too much about, like, my background, but, you know, basically five years ago,
I sort of just I wasn't even in the industry. I wasn't even in the,
you kno
w, the content creator, writer on air personality. I wasn't really doing that. I was in a whole other career. I was working at the wax museum in Times
Square as one of one is
that was one of their operation managers. Good job. Nice little job benefits, you know,
Good stuff, good company. And I hated it. So I ended up I ended up leaving that and I just
I took a bold leap into, you know, the sports
radio, sports media space. And I just
I just grinded and worked my way up. I mean, I basically walke
d into a local
ESPN affiliate radio station in my area, asked if I could shadow
learn about the industry. They said, yeah, sure, we were not paying, you know,
but if you want to come in and hang out, you're my yeah,
you're more than welcome to. So I did that and, you know, stuck around
learning the industry and next thing you know, I was helping
produce shows for them. Next thing you know, they turned my mike on
and I ended up working my way to co-host. And then I had my own show. And then, you
know, whatever,
just sort of trickle trickled down. Domino effect, I guess you can call it. And I got some other opportunities. And then a couple of years into the space, New Jersey legalized sports betting. And that was a big opportunity for me. I'm a guy that grew up in Atlantic City,
New Jersey. Family has been in the casino
industry for, you know, since day one in Atlantic City. So I've been around gambling,
I've been around sports betting even before it was legalized for,
you know, my whole
life. So once that became legal,
I just I jumped on that and I started talking more about sports
betting. Got a couple opportunities with sports
betting network with Sirius XM. And yeah, I mean, here we are, right? I mean,
like I said, I'm not trying to go on for too long about my background,
but that sort of sums it up and I got very lucky
and I love what we're doing, man. I love talking sports betting.
I really do. Yeah, that is that is so great. You know, That's what it is. That's. That's ho
w I want to talk to you. It is the hustle that makes you a pro. You know what I mean?
I very similar story to yours. You know, I started out
I was a bookie back in college. I come from a gambling family.
You know what I mean? When I got out of school,
I started as a digital media admin for the Office of Health Strategy
for the State of Connecticut. I know it's a mouthful, but
a totally different industry doing stuff about health and community on social media
for the state of Connecticut, and the
n took the leap into sports
betting and never looked back. You know, for myself, that took me all the way to Costa
Rica running a sportsbook down there. You know, I've done it all. So I've I respect the hustle
and I know what it takes to really make it in the business
from not getting paid for work and, you know, being a co-host
and then being the host, you know, it is a hustle
and a grind that you have to respect. And if you're watching this show

Yeah, sure. I mean, but you, sir, what do you have for
some best bets for tonight? Yeah, absolutely. So, listen, I start with and I always start and end and focus
on what I know best.
And I'm just an NBA thing, right? I can. I can talk anything in the NBA, and I'll. I'll make a ton of bets outside of my
my backyard. But I follow the 70
Sixers closer than any other team. So, like for me and this is my advice
to anyone like I don't try and give out pickks
that I'm not 100% sure on. And for me the NBA is is tough like
the NBA is a grind to bet on and you have to you have to be able
to pickk out the opportunity. Right. And like for me,
if you're following the team on a night to n
ight basis, you're not you're not missing one minute of play
for an 82 game season. You're going to feel better about your
your betting pickks and insight for, you know, player
props like I feel good about a Kelly you Uber over his three point
total tonight because of the whole entire Sixers
team is out right now right so depending on where you look I tell you
right over one and a half threes I also like him over two and a half
three pointers. Some books
may have that at like even money. So I li
ke the value attached to that. If you can get two and a half Maxey
I like to because he's been struggling. I mean he last week he had a 51 point
game on Saturday night myself, which was absolutely absurd. Obviously he's made the All-Star team
for the first time this season, but you look at his past couple of games,
he has been horrid. I mean, he had a 12 point performance,
a 15 point performance. He's like three for 13 from three
in his last two games. He's he's been awful. So they play at home
tonight
against the Atlanta Hawks. And I know I said Uber. I like Maxey
because the Sixers have a ton of guys out They have Embiid out Buddy Hield
who they just traded for obviously still pending campaign
still pending, traded away. Patrick Beverley No. De'anthony Melton, No. Robert Covington, no Nicolas Batum. So they're missing. They're missing like seven key guys. Yeah. So someone's got to score the rock. So tonight there is opportunity in the player props
section for the Philadelphia 70 Sixe
rs. I like Max. He's over on his points total. I like Maxey. I saw points that had over three and
a half threes for Max Price That plus 125. I really like that. So I'm sort of all over the place,
but that's where my head's at right now. Sure. You know, when player props come out
a little bit closer to game time out, lock in a little bit more. But those are
the things I'm keeping my eye on. I'm certainly going to look at Maxey over
points, possibly assists and threes. Certainly great threes made
and I may look into some Tobias
Harris props too, because he always seems to find a way to step up
when not when it beats out of the lineup. So that's. Let's start with you. It's funny that you pickked out
that game first, you know, because I know from where you where you live
and I focused on the Philly L.A. game, too,
So I do a little detail dive myself. I actually have three pickks
for that game. I'm on the Sixers team
total under 121 and a half. I am also on the game under 248. I bought it u
p a couple of points
and then I'm on Okongwu for the Hawks over 22 and a half points,
rebounds and assists without Capella. He's been playing more minutes and I expect him to get like a full,
full run in there tonight. And with all the absences in Philly, even with the lack of defense
and how bad the hawks are, I just don't think that this gets to be
that high scoring of a game. I think the the Hawks actually
are going to put it on the Sixers tonight. I might take the Hawks on the money line, bu
t for right now
I'm sticking to the Sixers team total under game
under but Okongwu points over I just think it's yeah like you said
with all the absences and some trades and I think I think now Buddy Hield
the Sixers when they get healthy I think it's going to be
a really key piece for them. I love Buddy Hill.
I've always been a big fan of him. Buddy Hield actually won me
the NBA Draft Kings Tournament. They got me into the winter finale
in 2019, like the big winter finale. They have him jersey.
I won a ticket to that because
of Buddy Hield so I'm a big fan of him. So yeah,
I mean that's what I have for that. Everything else for today. I like the
I like the underplay a lot and the 76 ers, they actually have been playing some,
some pretty good defense. I know they've really locked down
the warriors the other night. The Warriors I mean they've been a joke
this year, but there's still Steph Curry. It's still the Warriors, right? So I like that, Andre. I mean, I think the total said it

e 243 and a half. You said you bought it up a couple points. To 47 right now. To 47. Holy cow. Okay. It's just way too many points, man. It really it's it's way too many points.
Listen, What? I be shocked if it goes over
now, of course, not just the NBA, but the play I agree with you

any parting words for for the viewers? I'm like, yeah, no, not really. I was going to try and make it
below average s
how up there. But no, I think I'm all right. I mean, for me, I also love the futures
market in the NBA and really all sports. But like, I think there's I think there's
some really good opportunity. It's crazy to see how the Clippers number
has dropped. Obviously,
they've been scorching hot like right now. They're I think, 6 to 1 plus
550 to win the NBA title. Still like it. I really liked it a couple of weeks ago,
even like a month ago. And it was like 12 to 1, 10 to 1. And it has been cut in ha
lf since then. But I still like the Clippers, man. If they're healthy, I don't know how
they're going to be beaten. I'm rooting for them to be beaten. But if I can objectively make it bad, I would say that
it has some interesting value. And once again,
the Sixers are a dumpster fire to all. Embiid gets hurt every damn year. I'm so sick and tired of it right now. It's not looking good. But if you like the air quote value
that I'm seeing the Sixers at 32 one right now to win the NBA title
and even
just to come out the east I'm seeing him at 17 to 1 18 to 1 if to all and be able
to come back in the next 4 to 6 weeks and continue to be the historic player
that he's been this season. I mean the Sixers have a good shot
as any to come out of the east at 18 to
1, maybe to win the title at 32 one. Listen, I know some people may be looking
at me sideways saying I'm out of pocket, but there's value attached to
that is my point. A ton of value. And I love looking for value,
whether it's player pro
ps on a night to night basis,
trying to get even money on an over or it's in the futures market. I like that as well. I'll throw one more out there
and then I'll I'll stop rambling. But I like the Knicks to come out the east
right now, too. I mean, the boxer bleep show, you know, Boston's obviously Boston,
but Philly, all their issues right now. New York is tough, man. I wouldn't be shocked
if New York make some noise and and gets out the east and there's
some good value attached to them as well
. So that's what leave everyone left.
I love it. You know, I was going to say about the Sixers, I actually looked
at them to missed the playoffs. I think that's like it was a big
plus money price. I don't remember what it is,
but you know, with them just looking at Embiid in 4 to 6 weeks
doesn't mean anything. And if the team tanked in that time period
they may not bring them back. Yeah that was something
I was taking a look at. But Ryan, one last thing. Who wins a Super Bowl? How man It's a gre
at question. It's I it feels like the books right now
are going to be on the side of the San Francisco 49 or so if I want to be
if I want to be smart right now, and I probably

point to Kansas City. I'm not betting the game on the side. I just have a ton of other action. But I'm going to say the Chiefs win

the Atlanta Hawks. You know, I know he's the 76 is inside of here, b
ut I might be on the country side of some of his pickks
here, some details for
this game are Philadelphia. They have allowed 126
points per game in their last six games. So this is a defense that actually
has kind of been really as of late. And they are totally different team
without a beat. I mean, if there was one team
that you could pickk in the NBA that you would say, you know,
with this player, without this player, what's the difference in their
you know, their level of play? Almost like Ph
iladelphia is just Jekyll
and Hyde when it comes to me
being on the court and off the court. And you see they've been really struggling
without him on the court and especially defensively,
you know, like is over 26 points per game in their last six games. Another stat here, Atlanta,
they allow the second most points to guards in the league this season. So for those two reasons, I'm
going to be taking a lot of heart to your team
total over 123 and a half. I just think the trends here suggest
that
Philadelphia has been struggling defensively. Atlanta is one of the better
offensive teams in the league, and so I like the team total here
and I'm also going to be taking Dejounte Murray over 21
and a half points. I'm again, you know, Atlanta, they give
up the second most points of guards. You know what I got that one wrong
We're we're going to scratch that one. My mistake guys. I just threw myself into allowing
the second most points to guards that I'm taking Devonte Murray is
I don't like it
. So let me let me go back to the thing. No, but stick with that. There's a reason why
I think Murray definitely gets with all the Sixers injuries your way. Yeah, he's definitely got to get it. All right, we'll stick to it,

that actually supports that that a bit of the details that there

being like a one 3105 kind of finish. No I don't think it will. I don't think Philly can do their part
here. I think Atlanta team Total is a good play, but I just don't think
Philly does their part to get us over. No, but Philly struggling offensively too without Embiid

in the game, I think Boston is an absolute

Boston has these letdown games every now and then where you know they

letely unexpected right. Like you get the Lakers

you know, kind of go through the motions games when they you know,
they know that they're the superior team. So I'll stay away from this, Brad, But I think they put it on them offensively. So I'm going to take Boston team
total over won 27 and a half. I love that play a lot

o be taking Porzingis overall his points in rebounds
and that line is not out yet at the time they were reporting

on this one. And here's why. Milwaukee

in the fourth quarter. This is Dallas. So they were that close
to being only six so far into year Milwaukee giving up 120 points
per game under Doc Rivers. What do the exact same before he got there
So he's made absolutely no improvements. Well, it's okay. They're still the 24th ranked defense

I think this Milwaukee team is broken. We are okay. I think there is a ton of turmoil
within this team when there's rockets not going
the way they expected with Duke where we see young,
this is getting pissed off. Leuer isn't
working out the way they expect them to. I mean how can I leave 14 with the Milwaukee team
that can't defend a
nybody So I can't. So I'm on Charlotte plus working up I'm going to be Charlotte first quarter
plus four and a half. I think they get out on an early here. I think they keep it close. Again, just with all the drama
surrounding Milwaukee right now, you know,
I just you know, I don't trust them. I just want them to win any quarter significantly,
or at least not the first quarter. And then I'm also going to be on a Cody
Martin for the Charlotte Hornets
over 11 and a half points, you know, with this
with this poor Milwaukee defense. You know, if they put lower on him,
we like to Larry, You guys know what I think about him. He's a traffic on defensively. man. What were you going to do
you didn't put a half has Khris Middleton Allen who not the same
I mean who's going to you know what guard
his unit is going to be put on by Cody Martin so not Scottie Warren's a superstar
by any means, but I'm against the soft Milwaukee defense. I like its opportunities
here to get at least 12 points. So that
's going to do it for me. Jacob Yeah, Yeah. So for this bucks, Charlotte's game, for most of the reasons you just said,
I'm all over this game over to 28, You know, regardless of the fact the Bucks have
all these problems, Charlotte is so bad that the Bucks will still be able
to put up points in this game regardless of locker room issues. You and I could put up some points
against the Charlotte team that they're so poor defensively. So I took this two over to 28
five down a couple points to -140
. Now I'm also on bucks team total over 122
and a half for the reasons I just said. Charlotte just doesn't guard
and with Jonathan load on team regardless of the problems
I still think that he can hit this number. I think they give up some points
to Charlotte here which is going to push it over. But that's why I am on bucks team total over
122 and a half and the game over to 28. And then I just have two more pickks. I am going to the Nuggets versus Kings
game and I'm going to take a Denver plus
110 on the MONEYLINE. And I'm also going to be
on the game over 230. I think we just see this game be a battle
Sacramento has seen over the over here in 12 out of the last 18 games
between these two. The over is also hit in
five of the last seven games when Denver has played in Sacramento. Denver currently five and one
straight up their last six, including six and two straight
up the last eight against Sacramento. They're also four and one the last
five against the Western Conference in 14 and t
wo straight up their last 16 games
against a Pacific division opponent. So when they play these Southern
California teams, they like to beat up on them. And then we've also seen Denver go cover seven of the last ten games
so far this month. So Denver on a little bit of a hot run
I get Sacramento has been playing better as of late and went straight up I mean six and 2/8
their last eight games in February but they are only two and 6/8
in their last eight home games and two and 4/8
their last six g
ames overall. So I like this game to see some points. I really think we see
like a real battle in this game. I think both teams can get to 120 here,
honestly, but I think Denver has the talent
to pull this out, especially since Sacramento
think made some trades and whatnot. So, you know, they're going to have
some time to need to mesh. And yeah, I just really like this Denver team
to get the business done. You got anything for this one?

over dinner with you, right? Yeah, I'm all over. You know, I think, you know, Sacramento,
they're one of those teams, kind of like Milwaukee
or where they can have letdown spots when you don't expect
like to sit here like that. You know, think
about They just lost in Detroit at home. All right. So you know you get you don't quite know
