[Music] thank you this has become like a yearly Tradition at this point I figured I'd give you guys an updated list on what's in my travel bag I recently went on a short trip and this time I decided to bring just the essentials I mean I usually try to pack a little light but this time I went extremely light you'll see what I mean I didn't even bring a switch charger this time ignore this bag this is just a Dusty old big bag that I had laying around I don't know where I got it I always bring my l
aptop with me wherever I go I mentioned this bag in a recent video this is a pretty cool sling bag made by tomtuck that's only 35 and I've been taking this one with me practically everywhere even if I don't have a big backpack with me it's very minimal there's not much to it at all there are two major reasons that I like this bag so much the first is that the entire inside is this soft touch felt so you can really put any electronic device in here with the screen exposed and not have to worry ab
out scratches hell it fits most to my portable emulators just fine I just put so much stuff in this little tiny fanny pack size thing Jesus the second thing that I love is that there's a little fold in the middle that has an additional tiny felt pocket that perfectly fits a miu mini or like an rg35xx I went a little bit Overkill here and I brought the entire Miu Mini case that I have this is just a 3D printed case I mentioned this in a previous video where I talked about accessories for portable
emulators that you can check out right here if you want some other stuff you might be interested in so I brought a whole switch and also my Miu mini all in one little tiny sling bag now if maybe you don't want to go this minimal maybe you absolutely need a switch grip well that's where satisfy comes in they make a little bundle with a case and a grip that has a little shoulder strap here so you can take this whole thing with you and they also just so happen to be the sponsor of this video for t
hat I prepared a fun little presentation why don't you enjoy yeah when you decide to step up to this kind of challenge this kind of playing this kind of jumping sweating gaming when you decide to get serious there's only one place to come the ergonomics of satisfied no one else creates this kind of grip the Zen grip features an offset right handle for perfect finger placement it stands upright get the elite bundle for perfect travel and right angle USBC cable for upright charging in grip now you
're playing with power available in all sorts of colors and coming soon the enchanting Mythic Edition get 15 off site-wide by clicking the link below and using Code wolfden 15 at checkout how'd you guys get in my yard mom if you didn't catch on that was a shot for shot Recreation of the 90s Super Nintendo commercial with Paul Rudd in it I don't know I was extremely bored last weekend I mentioned that I didn't bring a charger I did bring this very tiny USBC to USBC cable that I also mentioned in
that previous video because I thought this would be a perfect cable for the Miu Mini turns out it's not the Miu mini can only use a USB a to usb-c cable for charging for some weird reason so this C2C cable is really only useful for charging the Nintendo switch and talk about light this thing takes up no space at all in fact it's so tiny and small I think I lost and left in the hotel room the Miu mini is going to require a USB a to USB C cable this one I also linked in my previous video this one
is going to be just fine and it's also super tiny and can fit at the top of this little case that I have and it's Dual Purpose you could also use this to charge the Nintendo switch or any other USBC devices that you have like I said I always bring my MacBook with me whenever I travel because I always got to do stuff on it and if I really had to this is one way to charge USBC devices because it's got Thunderbolt 4 or USBC ports on both sides but this time I brought a power brick that had both USB
C and USB a ports on it so you can charge multiple devices this is not the one that I brought the one that I brought I left in the hotel room with that USBC to USBC cable plugged in oh embarrassed I never lose anything in hotel rooms but it's okay it was it was a cheapo thing it wasn't no big deal this one I would have been very upset if I lost this one I got with the ioneal air it's got three usbcs and one USB a port so I can charge multiple devices if I had to it's a bit large you don't need a
ll this but it is nice to have multiple inputs in the past I've had whole videos talking about how the Nintendo switch has weird power delivery issues and I wouldn't recommend using anything other than the official Nintendo switch charger but if you're on a short little trip if you're just gonna use it for like one or two charges it's you can experiment a little bit it'll be fine if you're constantly using aftermarket chargers for your Nintendo switch or third-party Docs maybe don't do that but
once on a short trip you're probably fine make sure it's got USBC power delivery or at least rated for like high speed charging or like smart charging or whatever the hell this one has ports that are 100 watts and ports that are 22.5 Watts you're probably just fine with the 22.5 Watts I think this one's made by shark geek I'd also recommend anchor they make good stuff I also always bring this portable battery with me I've had this one for years and this one is made by Anker it is the official Ni
ntendo switch portable battery power bank and I almost never use this for my switch I always leave this generic actually this is an anchor lightning cable for my phone this thing's got enough juice for like I think three or four full iPhone charges this was great to have once when I completely forgot to bring a USBC charger I just used this and it lasted me a whole weekend I've even charged my MacBook with this before that doesn't last very long though in this sling bag I also bring an extra set
of joy-con this time I brought these boxy pixel joy-con because I knew I was gonna want a d-pad I had some Super Mario 3 e-reader levels to finish on switch online I used to have issues where the face buttons on these metal joy-con would stick so I got used to bringing a backup pair that doesn't really happen anymore I guess I broke these in pretty good also it's just nice to have an extra pair of joy-con in case you want to play multiplayer with somebody else in like tabletop mode or some some
thing because using sideways joy-con is just lame I can also fit my headphones in here these were gifted to me from my brother a few years ago and these were the exact ones that I wanted I prefer earbuds over over-the-ear headphones I like over-the-ear headphones if I'm playing like a competitive shooter or something that requires audio but these are a lot more comfortable for me for day-to-day use and these are very similar to the in-ear monitors I used to use when I played drums like 10 years
ago [Music] yeah these are Shore aeonic 215s they're wired the cable never bothered me it doesn't get stuck on anything wireless headphones bother me because there's always some type of syncing issue or they disconnect or the battery dies or something these you just plug in and you're always just ready to go it even has a mic so I can talk in-game in something like fortnite if I had to but am I gone yeah I hear you oh cool what's up okay bye I also have one of these lightning to headphone adapte
rs for my phone because apple sucks now this one was twelve dollars when I got it and I just looked it up on Amazon and it's 18 for some reason the official Apple ones are also kind of a lot of money and I used to go through those like crazy they would break very easily because they were flimsy I like this one because the cable is braided so it won't bend and break as easily you can realistically get any old headphone adapter it doesn't matter if you want to get a cheap one just make sure that i
t supports a microphone I once got a pack of I think three different lightning adapters because I used to go through them like crazy and I figured why not just get a cheap Pack and none of them supported mic input so that was kind of a huge waste and that's pretty much everything that's in my extremely light uh Nintendo switch travel bag I do have some honorable mentions here's some business cards no I'm just kidding I have this extremely tiny hoary tabletop stand for the Nintendo switch it's an
official product that I don't think they sell anymore it's good if you want a charge stand so you can play it in tabletop mode while charging the switch it's also a useful replacement to the original switch's horrible kickstand I was able to find it on playasia.com so I guess they still sell it in Japan and you can also find it on eBay for pretty cheap it's just cool because of how tiny it is instead of carrying extra joy-con with you it might be worth it to bring a whole controller with you es
pecially if you absolutely need a good d-pad and don't have like a modded joy-con like I do 8-bit do makes some of the best d-pads that are on the market they also make some of the best tiny controllers you have the 8-Bit do zero which is what Linus Tech tips uses to control his teleprompter somehow it's the smallest controller they have but it's not exactly comfortable they also have the 8-Bit do light which is a little more practical its size is reasonable and it's nice and flat for extreme po
rtability but my favorite for portability might still be the sn30 pro which now comes in some new colors here I have the atomic a green transparent one and I haven't even opened yet I don't love how the thumb sticks stick out but it's a little bit of compromise portability versus actual function this is for sure the most comfortable controller that I would be able to throw in my bag with ease and what I love about these controllers is they work for a lot of different stuff they could work for yo
ur steam deck and they can also work for your MacBook I can play Celeste on this thing with this and I've got to be honest though on this trip I found myself kind of missing this Steam Resident Evil 4 and Jedi fall in order to get through and you can't do that on the switch well next time I can just bring that Tom talk must have seen my recent video where I talked about this and they sent me where'd it go they sent me the bigger steam deck travel case I saw this in Retro Game course video and I
got a little jealous I can fit a whole lot more stuff in in this guy this is maybe even a better daily driver this one can even fit a whole switch with a whole satisfy grip on it just like that there it is and there's still so much room I can fit a whole camera in here in the other felt pocket that's awesome or you can use it for like its intended purpose an actual steam deck and there's still room for a switch in there too you guys think about what's in my travel bag 2023 do you have any ideas
of how I can make this even more compact how I can make it even more practical did you find anything here that solves a problem for you leave it in the comments below at me on Twitter and any and all this other social media garbage hey thank you satisfied for helping sponsor this video and letting me do a cool little thing with the ad I have a lot of fun with that we got streams over on twitch.tv slash wolf then why don't you go over there right now and hit that follow button and then you'll get
