There are people who would be totally shocked to find this is a massive lie or coverup. Others would be shocked if it wasn’t. Reasonable people know both are possible and wouldn’t be shocked.
I think I’ve figured it out! Princess Katherine has advanced Krohn’s disease. The disease sends out fistulas and burrows holes into vital organs. In order to get it under control doctor’s will first place patients on steroids to get the disease under control (the TMZ photo of Princess Katherine looked like her face was puffy, which is a side effect of steroids.) When the patient is stabilized the doctors will perform a “hopefully” reversible colostomy to rest the patients gastrointestinal system, in the hope of reconnecting the tract in the future. My sister had this surgery done and it took a full year before the reversal was able to be performed. The disease can be managed, but never cured. Of course, I’ve only given a snippet of the myriad of complications that accompany this debilitating disease, but after giving serious consideration into this mystery this made the most sense.
