On March 17, 2024, a storm caused significant damage in northwest Paraná. The region had experienced several days with intense heat before the rain hit, resulting in flooding that submerged everything in the town of Alto Paraná. As a result of the flooding, cars passing through the streets were engulfed by water, including a car and a truck that were swallowed by a collapsed crater. Fortunately, no one was hurt as the vehicle was parked near the location of the collapse. Streets were flooded for around thirty minutes, and the trailer fell into the crater, while the mechanical horse remained in the area to prevent it from collapsing. A pole was also dragged into the hole, and the city stated it would try to remove the truck.

the north-west of the state, on Sunday afternoon. According to RPC, the vehicle was parked close

o the location of the collapse. No one was hurt. According to city hall, the rain lasted for
about 30 minutes and flooded several streets in the city. In the image, it can be seen that the trailer
fell into a crater and the mechanical horse remained in the area to prevent it from collapsing. A pole was also dragged into the hole. The city said it would try to remove the truck.
