Way back in 2014, the director of Frozen, Jennifer Lee, had one of the most mind-blowing responses to one of the movie’s most burning unanswered questions: What really happened to Anna and Elsa’s parents? Jennifer revealed a crazy theory from her Frozen co-director Chris Buck. According to Chris, the King and Queen didn't actually die at sea like most people believe. According to him, they had a baby while at sea and when they became shipwrecked, they all washed up on the shores of a jungle isla
nd where they built a tree house to live in before meeting a tragic end when the parents were later eaten by a leopard. For Disney fanatics who know how to take a hint, Chris' version sounds super familiar, doesn’t it? Actually, it's pretty much EXACTLY what happened to the parents in Tarzan. Oh, and Chris also just happens to be the director of Tarzan! Chris went on to share more evidence to support his popular Frozen-meets-Tarzan theory and it will make you question everything! In an interview
with MTV, Chris explained the origin of his mind-blowing theory, saying, Explaining his theory, he also revealed a major detail that makes the whole theory come together. Wait, THE SON WAS RAISED BY GORILLAS? That's, like, the key information needed to confirm Tarzan is Anna and Elsa's little brother. Which is exactly what Chris thinks, too. This is enough to send Disney freaks, AKA, everyone who has a heart, into hysterics, but Chris was quick to insist that these are just his theories and not
hing is official, and everyone should continue coming up with their own. So, basically, Tarzan is Anna and Elsa's little brother, and there's nothing anyone can say to convince me otherwise! Now subscribe to Seventeen's YouTube channel so that you don't miss out on any crazy fan theories and mind-blowing plot holes.

Here's my objection: Tarzan's parents flew an English flag over their treehouse, while Elsa and Anna's parents were Norwegian.

@meta527II

Everyone, don't feel bad that Frozen 2 shot down this theory. Your theory was dead on arrival, since Tarzan's parents' ship went down in flames while Anna and Elsa's parents' ship did NOT. Not to mention how TARZAN'S PARENTS AND ANNA&ELSA'S PARENTS LOOK NOTHING ALIKE.

@kendallglissendorf6818

NO! I CANNOT STAND THIS! They would have only been on the ship for a minimum 9 months because their mother wasn’t showing and Tarzan was probably nearing 1 year of age. Tarzan had a photo of his parents and you even see a camera in one of the scenes, so that was probably be the late 1880s. Frozen was well before that technology

@yukikun6478

Judging by Tarzan's age during the events of Tarzan, it could be that when Tarzan met Jane, the events of Frozen are already done and the events of Tarzan, ANna and Elsa might already be grown adults? Since Anna and Elsa were already kids when the parents left.

@hufflepuffler2575

This totally makes sense i mean it's so obvious! The mother and father dyed their hair so no one would no who they where and changed their appearance XD

@crubs83

That would mean that Tarzan is the rightful king of Arendelle...

@alphasapharius925

This makes sense because in Frozen 2 when Elsa, Anna, and Olaf find and explore their parents fallen ship Olaf states that the ship couldn’t make it through the mist unless no one was on the ship and in Tarzan the parents on the ship jump off it But the time period that Tarzan was in was way past the time in Frozen

@elianabuler7595

She said Anna not Ana!!!! I'm so upset

@doublintucksveto5321

I like this theory because I think it could provide an explanation for why Tarzan is able to do impossible things, like have the strength and agility of gorillas and speak to any animal. Perhaps Tarzan is able to do those things because magic runs in his family.

@crazzydayy7785

But how would the queen be pregnant if when she leaves shes as thin as a twig but then gives birth on the boat?

@Orto-jj2di

Biggest obsticle : Timeframes can be managed "We could ride our bikes through the haaalls!" -Anna Bicycles invented 1817 Photography invented 1826 Sepia photos invented and popular from 1860 to 1920 First steam engine ship in 1808, popular by the 1850's. High wheelers 1871 Tandem bicycles invented in 1890's. Typewriters commerically invented and successful in 1868 In the frozen fever short movie we see elsa and anna riding through the halls on a two person bike which is called a tandem bike which was not patented until the 1890's. So while their clothes may say that they are perhaps "less modern" than those such as jane wore, it seems that the land that Elsa and Annas parents ruled was not very large, and though they had many trade partners they may not have been a wealthy country. For them to be riding tandem bikes it would have to be 1890's or better, by that time the steam ships we see in tarzan may be very popular indeed, Yet still her parents might have had deals with neighboring tradelands about keeping wooden ships to increase their trade and would in turn buy larger lots of ice or something. If they are 1890's, early 1900, then the highwheelers would probably be a fun piece that jane had brought for entertainment and thats why we see tarzan riding it on the trunks of trees spiralling crazily about. Take into accountthat in Once upon a Snowman, we see Oalf having a stereoscope which proves that frozen world does have a photograph taking devices. And trust me the landscapes in stereoscope were real, not drawn trust. Go and see yourself if you want.( plus the lands included moana's island, tarzan's jungles plus rapunzel's environment) Also the map in frozen 2 was made when agnar was young, when his ship was the last to ever approach dark sea for the next years. since Frozen 2 takes place over 30 years after the fateful day that the Enchanted Forest was closed off. Something else that anchors the franchise's late-1800s setting is the fact that, at the end of Frozen 2, a camera is used; the characters are still bewildered by the technology and coming to terms with how to use it. While the oldest surviving photograph dates back to 1826, cameras started to become more commonly used in the late 19th century when their functionality rapidly started to increase. This would fit in with the fact that Frozen likely takes place in the late 1860s or early 1870s and Frozen 2 three years after, roughly when cameras would start to be used more in public life and, therefore, establishing the timeline of the franchise Also If young Agnarr was reading the "new" book by Andersen in 1837, that means the time frame for the "Frozen" movies could be around the late 1860s or 70s. As for the crashes of the ships, we are aware in Frozen 2 that their ships sank at dark sea thnaks to nokk. However there are now bodies, whiel we cansay that the water squashed them but it may instead have washed them away from the scandinavian waters close to african wates where they were picked up by the england ship that we see burned in the opening However as for them having a portrait and tarzan getting a picture; portraits would most likely still be highly symbolic of status for royalty and thats why they have portraits at home normally, however they weren't exaclty home or any closer to arendelle. It is also possible that the ones the ship belonged to weren't so pure hearted since remember poachers and slavers are also present arond that time s othey may have lied to the couple giving them all they need until their true colors revealed(which gladly was stopped by lightining bolts causing fire or maybe they started the frie themselves?), which may explain why their hair is different because they may have had time to dye their hair and change clothes since they were very wet and when they were at sea, perhaps it was a novelty fun thing for them to capture their time with their son while heading back to Arendelle...(or what they were tricked into thinking). Cameras were rare at that point so it's no surprise The first ship goes down by water, the second was burned and the two barely surviving on a dinghy to land, believed dead by their family. Take into account that she may as well didn't know about the pregnancy yet otherwise I don't think they would risk going to the dark sea. The first time they were lucky but this time no escape from their deaths. Also another possibility : Either they dyad their hair or their time at see and stranded may have been enough to change their hair colors; they were in the cold all their lives, so to be thrown to a tropical island for a couple years has chances for darkening and lightening hair. The animation styles are different between the years, so I looked for Elsa reimagined in classic Disney style, and found one close to it with her face giving a side view (it has her looking at her child as she is imagined as being a mother by that artist) which i compared to a side view shot of Tarzan's birth mother and the resemblance was quite striking. Also eye coor isn't clear either way sicne we do see soemtimes parents eyes change from blue to green to the mix, and on the pic in the treehosue the father seems to have more greenish color and the woman has blue. Just so you know And last in frozen 2 they show river's memory of water surrounding them, but that doesn't necessarily means they died right away https://preview.redd.it/qaef2qbacmn61.jpg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=770072f77af6ab8c141f4597866f2446e8330c06

@Orto-jj2di

Disney retconned the family connection unfortunately. But this theory will always be real to me

@em_ii

Frozen II has entered the chat

@isaiahadams1208

I pretty much believe that Tarzan is Elsa and Anna’s brother cause Tarzan and Elsa seem to have a lot in common.

@DoveTheWingedWarrior

Is Jane from Tarzan related to Peter Pan's Jane?

@farhanmaleq5607

Tarzan, you're the rightful King of Arendelle... And Jane is your Queen!

@chimericalical

So y’all think Tarzan was a virgin when met Jane or was he clapping gorilla cheeks?

@guillermoguerrero2588

This is not true cuase the mom and the dad on Tarzan are different than in Elsa and Anna mom and dad

@Blaze-ON

I’m not sure about that idk why but how’s that?

@DoveTheWingedWarrior

That's not true. Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote Tarzan and The Snow Queen was written by Hans Christian Anderson. They're both not Disney. And that's bs cos Tarzan was not originally Disney.
