[Music] my name is Matilda and I am an arasmus student in malmer music H school malmer um and my main focus is on music teaching classical music a normal week uh at malma Academy of Music uh looks like quite varied I have quite many different things that I do um I have my violin lessons chamber music uh some theoretical subjects about teaching but also I got to choose uh some additional things for example this semester I study also Swedish literature in Lund because we are part of Lund Universit
y so um and I also feel that I have quite a lot of time to practice and and do things outside of school go to concerts or to Opera I I would say that the style of teaching uh here in malma is quite Cooperative that the uh teachers Fe feel really maybe not exactly like friends but kind of on the same level as students um they're really supportive um and often really interested to know uh how the students are actually doing uh so that that has been really great I felt a lot of support from the tea
chers I think malmer is quite good as a student City because it's uh a very good size um it it is an actual City but it doesn't feel too big uh so I always go everywhere by bike which I really enjoy um also there's a lot going on uh concerts uh other events um also Music Academy has quite a lot of different events organized by the Student Union which is always great uh for meeting new people and I think it is always a good idea to go on an exchange uh because you uh get to experience another cou
ntry another culture uh to see different school systems um also meet a lot of new people and possibly learn a new language uh so I always really recommend doing it I think it really gives you a lot I think that the atmosphere here in Malo Academy of Music um is great um I've always felt really welcome here uh already before coming here like the like exchanging the information with um the the academic workers was very good and also when I actually arrived here then yes I felt very at home from th
e first moment I think my favorite food in Sweden is canel BU or cinamon fun yeah l
