Invidia Q300 Exhaust Note and Install | Ford Focus ST

JP installs a new Invidia Q300 Catback Exhaust on our Focus ST and we take it out on the road to see how it sounds. After the install, we capture a true cold start and some blips, then we take it down and back on our street to test the full throttle exhaust note. 👇Get your Q300 Here👇 🟣Invidia Q300 - https://hubs.li/Q02dGys60 / / / 00:00 Intro 01:06 Unboxing The Muffler 02:22 What's in the Box 04:15 Fitment & Install Review 05:15 COLD START 06:01 On Street Exhaust Notes 06:30 Review / / Everything you need to turn up the power in your car can be found at www.EdgeAutosport.com If you have questions, give us a call or send in an email, we would love to help! . . . _________________________________________________________________________ We are Edge Autosport. you can never have too many Focus ST exhaust videos on your channel which is why we're doing another one so the Nvidia q300 is what we're going to install on Project hsen today our 2016 Focus ST we have done tons of exhaust videos on this thing and this is one that we have not done it actually got released fairly recently it hasn't been out forever uh and Nvidia hasn't really done a ton with the Focus ST stuff but this is one of them and this is actually kind of a unique one so let's just go ahe
ad and open it up um you know these exhaust videos they're like highly searched for a lot of exhausts you know you find online you find on YouTube to see how they sound before you buy them so hopefully if this is something on your radar this might help you figure out if you want it or don't so let's take a look inside so this is actually a pretty unique tip structure or tip setup compared to a lot of other ones it's it's oval it's that burnt blue style that a lot of Nvidia exhausts come with but
it's got the two oval tips which is uh not super common for Focus S exhaust but let's go ahead and take this out and I'll show you this kind of main Center piece here as you can see the the muffler is pretty big on this thing so this probably is not going to be the lightest exhaust in the world but it should probably have a pretty good tone to it won't be super raspy I don't know hopefully so here you go big big Muffler here a lot bigger than what you typically see and uh not like a straight th
rough design which a lot of them are it's not that big of a deal obviously inside of here it it curves pretty smoothly but this is going to be probably pretty I don't know I would imagine it's going to be mild as far as just like the overall tone and the sound but that's what we're doing the video for we're going to find out so let me finish unboxing and then we will start on the install here's the resonator piece this is what connects to your downpipe right here this is kind of interesting I've
I don't think I remember seeing this on any other exhaust but they have the flange that mates up to the stock Style exhaust and it's even like a 2 and a half inch diameter you can tell to made up to like flush to the stock down pipe but what's interesting here is the pipe immediately goes to 3 in on the inside and you can totally hog this out I would imagine um kind of bore that out a little bit to make it a full 3in once you switch to a bigger downpipe so just a little FYI there at least it lo
oks like you can do that all the other flange as you can tell full 3in right there so um nice and shiny and Polished the whole thing is 3 in the Twin burnt tips um you know this looks like a pretty standard Bolton kit to me it looks like it comes with a a hanger right there already pre-installed on that uh on that hanger right there on that midpipe so I'm sure we'll find use out of that I actually kind of know where that goes because I've done so many of these exhaust installs on this car so uh
all the hardware is included as well so you got multiple gaskets one 2 3 four gaskets in there all the hardware every Nvidia exhaust pretty much comes with all this stuff so this is everything you need to install look at how good this thing fits I'm not too surprised but I am kind of surprised you never know what you're going to get with exhaust fitment sometimes you have to really wiggle around the flanges and make it made up just right to make it perfect but like I didn't have to do that much
work here and it fits really really nice it's tucked nicely right underneath the bumper It's not touching the bumper It's not poking out too far it's like it is just about right inside the bumper one other fitment note uh the pipe that has to go over the subframe the rear subframe that was uh a bit tricky to get in there it took me quite a while to figure out how to finagle that through I had to take that plastic piece kind of underneath the side skirt on the left hand side of the car I had to t
ake that off the C the two 10 ms off and kind of bend it back so that I had a little bit extra room um but other than that it fit up pretty nicely pretty easily so the car is cold right now so we are going to do a proper cold start [Music] only thing left to do is get it out on on the street and see how it [Music] [Music] sounds there it is NVIDIA q300 on the Focus ST hope you enjoyed that I was uh I was pleasantly surprised by the exhaust usually you don't see those big Muffler boxes anymore on
performance exhaust but uh but this one works really well I liked it a lot the piping is all 3 in it's going to make better power than a stock exhaust um it's nice and civilized and quiet when you're cruising zero drone I took it home last night drove it back this morning before we did our rips down the street here and I mean it sounded great it's not annoying at all cold start was piece of cake Easy neighbors aren't going to get pissed off so I'm I'm pretty happy with it overall so hopefully y
ou enjoyed that if you have any questions let us know as always like And subscribe and we'll see you on the next one thanks guys

@Roddy451

Thank you for keeping tabs on the Focus ST... That is a very mild but good-sounding exhaust...

@coreydebrune9656

First time I've ever been the first to see a brand new video. Love your channel! You, Allen, may be the reason I get a Focus St. And when I do, I'm driving it KC to Denver to leave it with you and your awesome magic 😁😁 Looking forward to the day. Keep going with all the awesome content! 🔥🔥

@ParityError0110

I think you did 6 different exhausts in the other video? It would be nice to see a table/chart that compares different aspects of the aftermarket compared to the stock. (e.g. diameter, idle loudness, throttle loudness, etc.) For me, I would like to know what is available at 3" that is slight/medium louder than stock. I hate stupid-loud.

@jeffhowell3310

Great video, i personally would prefer a louder exhaust. I wish there was more room back there for the exhaust.

@user-go2vh6co4u

Glad the ST videos are still coming. You guys have motivated me upgrade everything on my ST. Thank yall! 🫡

@Slimeball1

Personally prefer the n1 due to the deeper tone but that’s just my preference

@iharr01563

Seems really quiet. How does it compare in volume to the Mountune 2.5 or the FS Werks Stealth Exhaust?

@triple_AAAs

every focus st cold start have white vapor/smoke is it normal?? if equiped with catless downpipe its more

@monicamoreno1563

Is there a way for someone to contact me? I put an order through your website 3 weeks ago and still have not received my order.

@brandongoller4388

Is this with a catted down pipe
